Love the quality build of the drawer box for sure but I prefer a glass lid to admire my pens! A very cheap way to store pens is in a RING jewelry box, I have 3 with clear lid inserts and I’m very happy with them.
I fell in love with NFP the last time you featured them. Unfortunately, they were out of some of the designs I really loved but it looks like they've restocked so I think it's time to get a gorgeous case.
I hope to. No response to my emails asking about order status and such. Could be a language thing or perhaps a failing in their support structure. Hoping for the best.
Just arrived today. As you said, very well packaged and quality shines through. Thanks for the review as I would not have know about these folks otherwise
5:49 "working with two manufacturers not represented on this tray" Looks like we are getting a Brooks resin Custom Heritage 912. I don't see how this could mean anything besides that.
@@jayebird1070 There are definitely a couple of my pens start really dry. Could be the ink or nibs. After a week or two standing up always need primed. I’ll try laying them on their sides.
Thank you David for the great review. Immediately went to their site to purchase the five pen case. The site is in Turkish even though the English flag showed in the corner. Prices were also in Turkish currency although you were kind enough to share current prices verbally. Finally, the product I wanted was sold out, requiring at least one more visit. It is nice to see/hear about such high quality goods at such reasonable prices. I am looking forward to getting a couple of the five pen storage packs.
Awesome review👍One quick note: the the used textile on the surface is called alcantara not alcantra😊

Thanks for the tip!
These are very attractive and excellent quality! I've used a similar solution with Gerstner tool chests with pen tray inserts.

these pen cases really appeal to me:)
It would be nice if a glass windows or wooden lid would be available for the wooden trays. So you can stack multiple trays and close the top tray...
there is a case like that on their site
@@deniz4152 Tnx, I'll look again. Couldn't find it
After purchasing Viscont's in addition to my collection I try to limit my pens. It's difficult. There are so many beautiful options!
Just fired the cannon for the 20 pen case. Never bought anything from Turkey before.
Cool! I think you will enjoy it. 😃

They need to do a better job sanding the sides after they cut the wood on that first tray.
I’ve only had fountain pens for a couple years. I assumed we should store our inked up pens nib up. Have I been wrong and storing them on their sides?
Storing them laying down is fine.
@@FigbootonPens Oh great! I wished I’d asked you sooner!
You can do either! Some pens may do better in terms of avoiding hard starts laying down but nib up won't hurt anything

Looks great! Might have to get some of those portable cases...

I have found that if you manually translate in Chrome (rather than click the icons that come up), it will change the language.
I just love that David's "pens for the week" are the pens we would love to achieve in our life times for most of us! 🤣🤣🤣
