This was a good insight into ownership of Apache 200. 8 years go when i had to choose between RTR160 or FZ16 i so went for FZ as it was a far refined machine when compared. My friend has the 160 n he sold it off within 3 years. It was becoming uncomfortable to ride as time progressed and he envyed my FZ. Today again i stand at the same fork in the road as to choose this or FZ25. It was quite a fresh thing to see a female give ownership of a bike. If i ever come across her, she will get a thumbs up from me. We need more girls on powerful bikes. Hope Vijaya is the Trendsetter. Motorbeam, plz do a comparo between this n FZ25.

Taken this bike on tour to Amritsar to Sach Pass. Sach Pass is about 14,500 from sea level. Performance of 200 RTR was very good. I am in love with this bike.

I don't understand why are people so crazy about a girl riding a motorbike. She is a human. She rides. period.
However it is apparent that she is not very experienced with riding. Her ride control is little down too but now her experience on the bike something which is positive.
One thing I have to ask the riders to be strong enough to handle the bike's weight with 50kg more. That power is very crucial in case of road mishaps.

It's not possible.
MotorBeam Retro-fitting ABS is possible from TVS itself. But ABS for this bike hasn't come yet. So for now, it's not possible yet. However there is an ABS light on the instrument console of the bike.

Other day in my city I saw a woman with her pillion who was also woman ride Hero Hunk, seeing her ride a motorcycle I felt so good & I felt very glad that there are some woman who show interest in motorcycles.

I don't own the Apache (for now) but I used to own a Fiero F2 and TVS's service is just top notch. That itself can be a huge factor to make you choose a particular brand (unline brand Y....).

in highway cruising though bike will be comfortable at 120 kmph ofc if u duck down and pull harder it can do till 140. with a little tuning in carburetor u can do 150. u will feel underpowered if u r riding with the 390s. wind bast is something you should be prepared for.

HI, I HAVE PLANS TO BUY AN APACHE RTR 200. HAVE SEEN A LOT OF REVIEWS AND DECIDED TO GO FOR IT. MY ONLY CONCERN IS , I AM A SHORT GUY ( 5.6" FT ) n need to know whether THIS BIKE SUITS SHORT RIDERS. I am a commuter and I take my bike n long rides aswell.

TVS Apache 200 4V was announced in Jan,2016. TVS announced multiple choices based on tyres, FI/Carb, ABS/Non-ABS and colors. Only in May2016 a few 200s were released to the market. Only in Nov17 FI was launched. Even as on 14-Dec-2017, not all colors are available.
I came to know from a reliable insider that TVS don't want to release ABS as price of Indian and Indonesian will be compared leading to slump in sales in other countries.
TVS claims of high demand in overseas market is false.
But why TVS is not announcing that 200 ABS will never be launched in India?
I have waited hoping for the ABS due to extra safety that comes with it.
But unfortunately the Manufacturer never educate and promote safety to Indian customers. They take the easy way out selling cheap bikes.
