I started cutting,y hair a few days ago. I should have left it alone yesterday because I’ve made a mess of it now. Cut too much off the sides. I wish I had watched a few tutorials first.
My mom is a retired stylist, I’ve been to numerous salons and I’ve been going to my current stylist for years...none have been able to cut a side bang. So, I’ve done it myself for years. I’ve watched thousands of videos, but this one is on the money!! Where have you been all my life!?! Thank you so much!💋
Man you have perfect timing. I'm retired after 30 years and my 18 year old daughter just asked me to cut her bangs. I've been doing her bangs most of her life but I have noticed just lately how heavy they're looking. So thank you so much for having spot on timing.

I recently went to my local hairdresser who is stuck overseas, I got the usual hair cut long down to my back with apparently swept fridge only to come home and realise it was cut very straight, due to my heavy brunette hair this made it even heavier. Too afraid to go back, I took up the challenge of bravery watching your video and, WA’la many thanks to you my hair looks amazing !

The last time I rocked the bangin bang look I was 12. I too am bored of living the quarantine lifestyle and want to do something different and drastic. The shortest section does NOT sweep with the rest of the fringe. Can't imagine a customer who wants a finish like that. But maybe one day there will be one...or never.
I love his other bangs, this one, not so much. It didn’t look very sideswept. Maybe it needed to be styled, because all his other stuff I have loved.

Perfect video, ty for sharing! I’ve cut my own hair before, and I bleach it platinum on my own, but I can’t ever seem to get the weight off the parts I want to. I keep my hair long, and I always run a “test” cut by taking off way less than I intend to remove, just to make sure that it’s still long enough to have some wiggle room once I get it right. I was done and happy by the end of the video, and that time included a follow-along test cut, seeing it work, and going through with doing it the length I wanted. Stylists like you are a godsend! I can’t ever seem to find anyone to do anything the way I want. Saving this one for next time 🙌🏻💖

@@lovedancingxoxoxoxo9843 I'm sorry but hes not wrong. I have my cosmetology license, this is correct. But.. its always a lot different when your doing a style/cut on yourself, instead of someone else. Takes a lot of practice and patience.

it would be much more helpful if you discussed the angle of the shears and the proximity of the shears in relation to the length from the scalp, etc.. And the very basic yet essential way the shears should be held. i know you have a video for each of these techniques but having to watch 10 videos to accomplish the side sweep is a bit much. for a pro, i know this isn't a problem but as a novice, it's recorded in real time (too fast). i'm not trying to be over critical and I appreciate you for sharing your expertise. thank you.

Does no one else find this way too heavy and unflattering? This goes right into the client's eyes too. This is a good tutorial in the sense that it is step by step but I really don't like the end result to be honest.

I did hairdressing n I get u haha it takes some time to get it right especially on ur self I gave myself sweeping side fringe not long ago half way through I styled it then finished it off dry, easier this way I think 😁nice video
