Hi Corbin, I share your love for these videos, I too farm myself and I still enjoy seeing other farmers doing what they do. I hope you can be able to visit a farm some day and pet some cows, horses, chickens, and sheep.
Thanks for showing us this Eric. Great that you have a way to carry you over. It's amazing that you can find time to do the videos with everything else you do every day. Thank you!
Uses the most high tech equipment to pack 80 tons of corn in a bag. * seals it with dirt * That was so cool! I'd never seen this before. Always cool to learn about new techniques and tools that you use on the farm. Thanks for sharing!
I've participated in corn silage harvesting and watched numerous videos on this event. This is the best I've ever seen! Great job, waiting on bunker fill! Thanks!

Nice work on the silage bag. Have done a few of those. Its a good idea to put near the barn, we did not and had trouble with animal damage. With that moisture, don't wait till mid winter to open it up! Frozenlage!
We do all our forages in 10 and 12ft bags. Easy way to vent the end is to just cut a small 2" cross in the plastic and after the gas has subsided in a couple days tape it up. Great videos!
I love watching those guys cut. That machine is a absolute beast and the operator is a magician. It takes a lot of practice to be able to hit the cart like that and not spill feed all over. I've run some equipment but the time the cutters that do our families farm gave me a shot our red tractors came back covered in green....... I probably didn't get more than 60% in the wagon 😂
@@southjerseysound7340 claas can actually autofill the trailers while loading over the tractor. but by the looks of it the harvester doesnt have the autofill camera. and if you think this one is a beast, watch some videos about the claas 980 with 12 row header, that thing is another level of awesome
Awesome video Eric! Beast of a corn eater. The ag bag looked really good. I have only seen videos of baggers at work but this one seemed to be the best I have seen in terms of set up and tightness of the bag. Great information shared and explained. Thank you for the video.
I love u man i'm littel farmer too. I am from Croatia, my dad have a farm and i doing all jobs and I help him in everything. I'm 12 years old and i doing everything, but when u see some kids from my school🤮 I record some videos on my youtube when i have time, this is something like my second hobi. When i grow up I want be a farmer like my dad and grandpa. I know how hard is when u are a farmer, but when u love something, that's not hard😀 Like i said HI from Croatia😀😀😀😀
I remember when you first started TH-cam and you put out a video that said, you didn’t know how much time you had to spend making videos and the videos might be awhile in between them. Look at you now, a certified FarmTuber!! I don’t know if you remember saying that in your old videos, i just thought it was funny and great how far you have come! Keep up the good work!
Awesome to share how this is done. You use this cutter guy a lot...he/she must run from farm to farm providing this cutting service. Very nice to have and not need to invest in those machine types for you farm.
I'm everything is going good for you, and to let you know that I still have you and your dad in my prayers that your dad getting better and the work load do not get to you, and again thank you for showing a small part of your work day. Thank you
We were just talking about chopping corn silage in my Ag classes today at my college. I mentioned you to my teacher, and he said he’d be going home to watch your videos. Like usual, great video. Keep it up Eric 👍
Bro what??? Cleaning the bunks!!! Making feed!! I've been watching your channel for a year now!! Cool!! Truly enjoy your videos!! Hope your pops gets to feeling better!!
Another great video of the farm and the way of getting that feed. An amazing dairy farm. Just can't wait to see more and more of your soda and chocolate milk bits
Great idea to carry you over until the crop reaches it's perfect time for harvesting (Ecclesiastes 3:1). I've watched this process on another channel. So it is interesting to see you put the Ag Bag in place to meet your temporary need. Blessings to you and the fam, as always! :)
I bet the juices are running out of the kernel processor. I was down to Leola hay auction today. I was thinking of stopping over and saying hi. Have a great day
I Know this is a day late but I would like to say who ever is reading this I hope you know what a farmer is this man right heregets ups before sunrise and goes to bed way after sunset this is a hard working man. He goes in that barn 7 days a week before sunrise and goes and milks the cows and does it all over again later on that day and the milk you drink you can thank someone like him
As a farmer and a fellow youtuber it’s interesting to see how other parts of the country and the world farm. Most dairy’s went out around here in the 80’s. I have some neighbors who moved here 5 years ago from Pennsylvania. They have built a big dairy. I love to watch them farm because they do things different than what is the norm. They bag all their silage.
Cool, ive seen where i grew up they also do a single bag like a round bail, i believe so they can sell it. And the cattle farms do bunkers and ag bags because the crop can vary alot from year to year.
Props to your dad. I had rotator cuff surgery 10 years ago and I am pretty sure bouncing around in a tractor would not have been on my dance card for that first three weeks or so.
That Claas sure chews through the corn. The first time I chopped corn it was on an IH 706 pulling a chopper with a 1 row head and an H&S box. It would have taken a couple of days to do what they did in a couple of hours.
Hands up, I'm slow to watch these videos because of work and stuff, but really awesome camera work. I've worked on farms for over 25 years but I still learn stuff watching these videos. Got out of farming now, but really regret it. I miss milking the cows.
👍👌🇨🇦❤, excelkent video, love Ag-bags, excellent way of keeping silage, we use both bunker and Ag-bag, both have advantages and disadvantages, just wondering do you ever get crows popping holes in your Ag-bags or plastic wrapped bales, lately for so e this hs been a problem, solution is to spray paint the top with a stripe, ot hang a dead crow near by, that usually fixes things
Since this was gonna be used first, it would have seemed to been a better location to put the bag inside an empty bunk to utilize the concrete floor for lessening spoilage for the two weeks to cook. What do i know though? Great process, Eric.
Two seasons I drive for a Clus corn chopper. The first season was driving a nearly new Ford with a wagon like you are using. We had three tractors. Then in Ohio I drove a very old straight truck that had a pump body. A skid steer did his best to keep up loading the bagger. That season was no as fun. No air conditioning. Driving directly behind the Claus for opening a field is very messy, especially with your windows open.
I’m really curious to see how the spout works on that harvester, is there like an antenna on the wagon and it senses it or something or are you just that good at it that u adjusted it without looking😂
Amazing. Videos like these show Americans how little we know about farms.
Thanks, Eric, for showing this process. I’ve often wondered how and why this is done. Glad to see your dad out and about.

Interesting to see how different Ag Baggers pack. That was a pretty tight package! And Dad snuck in there to check out the goings on.
They can pack as tight as you set them (without blowing the bag out) imo can pack it tighter then a bunker silo
Hey!!! (Insert happy dance) I dance everytime I get a notification that you posted a video!!!!! Thanks for the great videos
That name Dow
I like the way that bagger fills them bags tight and full
Great video thanks for showing how that is done. I've always wonder.
Brilliant video really interesting as usual. Well done Peter
Another great video teaching me something new! I don’t really like using plastic, I hope it is recyclable and you don’t just throw it away.
Love your videos always interesting .
Interested to see how you pull the silage out when you feed.
SaskDutchKid did a video with a nearby farm that only uses bags instead of bunks to store feed. It’s interesting and they explain how they use em.
They cut them open like a bunk
Avalon449 lift out out with a skid steer or a loader tractor
i'd assume you cut the bag open however far back to expose how much you want to take out
Scoop out of the end of it with a skid steer

Another nice video Eric. I will be interested to see how you efficiently get the feed out of this bag when you go to use it.
One thing nice about AG bags that you don't need a throw tires. We have 360 ton to chop here for the Amish into AG bags. Starting Friday maybe.
Isn't it a pain to get silage from bag when feeding time?
@@BWYinYang when using a skid loader bucket it's not too bad. And also as long as you put it on a nice hard surface.

Good system regarding the Ag Bag. The Ag Bag-tractor combination looks like a Termite Queen.
Those bags are cool we made one for our sheep and have had it for a while now.

My dad has a silo bagging business and we use boards to seal it and poke a hole at the front of the bag to let the gas out
