My S-max 2006 2.5 t petrol 162 kw 220 hp made max 224 km/h. 0-100 is very variable on terain because of weight of car. I love that car and my kids too because of g pressure while accelerating.
We had a S-Max rental while we were in Germany three years ago. We liked taking it up to 180+ but I only took it over 188 once. We had a great time there. I did make one video while my wife was driving. It is on youtube under the title, On the German Autobahn. Have a fine day.

Yea, 235 km/h... DOWNHILL. Minus 20 km/h on straight level road. Turbo won't help on 6k rot/min, on that high rotation it's just an Duratec HE with lower compression ratio and better intake.
@@SuperchargedMagazine my neighbor got a zafira tourer, almost same car (weight and cw) mapped from 200 to 240hp and runs much better. I had the 240hp Ford Ecoboost in a Mondeo and was very disappointed 😞 the 5 cylinder engine was bad too. Only the new 2.3litre is getting better
@@nicoheim7561 A remapped car will have the torque limits that protect the drivetrain removed and much more torque in the low and midrange than a standard map will allow even if the peak power is the same. Can’t even begin to compare the two. Ford are sensible to limit the torque on their models considering many will be abused and see a life of being fully loaded and towing with the typical lack of servicing fords suffer at the hands of their owners. Ford gearing is also very tall in order to get better mpg. You try pulling away in 2nd in a diesel Mondeo without a good chunk of revs.

Very poor for a 240hp engine.... Acceleration is like 200hp
