This is an excellent contribution. I am translating it into Spanish and re-uploading it to TH-cam, mentioning you as the original source, as appropriate. Thank you very much for this. Also, I'm subscribed. Many thanks, again.
Legend, not because "he is always right" but because he is original, he stands for his ideas and provides solid transparent arguments. In fact he is the only mainstream IT person of our era who doesn't talk about profit, marketing and commerce but instead focuses in human, freedom and educational matters. Overall, the system he presents is far better from today's flawed one.
Having control of your computing is fine if you feel the need to. Handing your computing to some cloud provider isn't to be generally rejected though. It is called "division of labor" and a feature of any civilization. In a civilized society not everyone grows his own crops, has his own cattle or wears self-knitted clothes. So why should it be mandatory to do your computing on your own computer?
On Trump, or more generally - politics - Stallman is completely off the wall, in left field, and out to lunch! Stick to something you know Stallman - software - and leave good and common sense to those who know what they're talking about!

@@DevMeow Cancer doesn't spread through the air.... And the CO2 buildup is not healthy, on the contrary it can lead to more sickness and infections.
