@@RCScaleAirplanes Yup ... I'm a big fan of the twin propeller aeroplane. Douglas DC3, Westland Whirlwind and the Catalina as well as the Beechcraft hold a particular fascination for me. I'm a bit of an ARTF man rather than scratch builder and strangely I think no Beechcraft nor Westland Whirlwind ATRF's have been produced. I'll stop rambling! All the best ...

This aircraft is an oldie, but goody. A beautiful airplane. And a stunning model. It's so nice, to see aircraft, that aren't commercial aircraft.

It climbs a heck of a lot faster than any C-45 I ever been in. One time in a Para drop a couple of us looked at the tailpane and were a wee bit nervous of a strike. The pji said the tail will not hit you unless you can jump out of the door and slap the tail. After two or three tried it and slapped the tail he said,"Keep your head down."
Due to the power/weight ratio the climbing rate of an RC model is mostly much higher than the full size aircraft. 😉
In this case the pilot has to bring the airplane in a certain altitude because of the trees at the end of the runway.
