Getting in on the Kickstarter or other crowdsourcing campaigns is a good way to get them at a discount. I've picked up several of the IDventure boxes for less than they sell them on Amazon that way. The downside is having to wait several months to get them.
One of the things I walkways do after watching his vids are download games like 'the room' or that DaVinci game, gives you a similar satisfaction without leaving the couch
Chris Ramsay, I can't help but share my deep admiration for your magical world! Your videos, a blend of magic, cardistry, and puzzle-solving, always leave me in awe. After being a silent admirer for so long, I just had to express how much I appreciate your genuine passion and love for magic. The way you present each trick is not just magical but also emotionally engaging. Your intros are like a doorway to wonder, and those cinematic videos are pure art. Honestly, if you weren't a magician, you'd undoubtedly be a master in video or photography - your skills are that extraordinary! Sending loads of love for the consistent magic you bring into our lives!❤❤❤❤
That was really fun to watch. Looks like a great puzzle. I wish I'd seen the Kickstarter. I bet ya needed to match up each of the numbered squares with one of the unnumbered ones to make a full constellation and then look for that constellation on the star map thingy.
Your videos are always such a vibe. Thank you for creating a genuine space to get lost in for a little while--I truly love your videos and both of your channels!
I remember when he used to enjoy actually figuring out the entire correct solution to puzzles. Lately I’ve noticed more and more “guessing” or “forcing” once boredom and/or frustration starts to kick in. Which is kind of disappointing.
Love the videos usually but this one just seemed rushed or forced being done. I can remember when Chris wouldn’t settle for just brute forcing a puzzle to solve it. He usually is explaining the steps to us on how he solved the puzzle and in this one I’m not sure he even knows any of them.
Agreed. Also he usually puts them back. He totally wasn't into this one. Which is unfortunate because I loved the theme and how intricate the puzzle was.
While i do really love watching you solve puzzles and this one looked super interesting, it sort of felt like you were accidentally solve especially the earlier parts, eventually you realised what you were supposed to do but early on it felt like you just sort of stumbled into the correct answer
Not to mention, he brute forced the last combination. If you love the puzzle you wouldn't do this. On top of that, he is making a video for an audience. Who wants to see someone brute force their way through a puzzle? Imo it's a little disrespectful to his audience like he just wants to finish the recording and doesn't give a sh*t. And it's really disrespectful to the puzzle maker that put a lot of thought behind their creation.
@@borkchoi I didn't say he hated the puzzle or his audience. I said he didn't love the puzzle, was a little disrespectful to his audience, and very disrespectful to the puzzle maker. If you click on a play through of a game you don't want to see someone that exploits a bug that skips parts of the game. If you are eating an expensive and time consuming delicacy and you dump a bunch of ranch on it that is disrespectful to the chef. This puzzle costs way more than a fancy meal.
@@TurntBucket Totally agree. He was 50% to solving that last puzzle, he had the correct tile, and instead of saying 'I'll try another tile' he just decided to skip it. He could have solved the wheel part with the same lockpicking style brute force. Who wants to watch that, though?
You’ve got me completely hooked on the puzzle world! I’ve ordered 14 quite easy puzzles for starters, including the Hanayama Cast Love. I have no doubt they will be the first of a substantial collection 0:45 …👍🏻👊🏻 💵
One I am getting myself is the hanayama zelda cast puzzles. I work in a local toy store that deals with puzzlemaster and we getting a shipment of zelda hanayama next week *-* so excited!
Sequential/discovery puzzles tickle my brain in such a wonderful way❤ Also, tiny little things always make me worry for Chris' fingers.. That man has some MITS on him, boy! lol
On my list would be a silicone mask the amount of detail is insane but they're very expensive, they range about $400 up to $1000. Typically a full mask(with neck and bib) is about $600+, a half mask (cuts of at the top of the neck) is about $400+. Each are hand painted and you can get custom paint jobs, adding hair is additional price which is expensive in itself
I did buy myself the new Evee and Pikachu Loungefly purse! I'm so excited. I bought all the kids and hubbies presents, but this was. One thing I just wanted for me.
I miss the cool intro's. I wanted a preview of the Kickstarter i orderd without looking at the Solve. Hope you enjoyed the puzzle. I can't wait to Solve it myself. Keep inspiering! ❤
I just realized how funny these videos sound if you have audio-only without context. "If you turn the barrel, it's a skull that will give you waves and degrees."
I decided to buy myself a small 125 Honda with an engine problem and a very rusty frame.. Took it apart to the bare frame then I will spray that and rebuild it.. so a large 3D puzzle which, when I solve it and rebuild it will also earn my bucks and leave someone one hours of fun and a way to get to work and back as well maybe. As usual, the 30 year old CBR900RRn doesn't need any work runs great as I kept up with all the usual routine maintenance
I love watching you do sequential puzzles! As for Christmas present for myself, I paint as a hobby, and if I was to buy myself a Christmas present, I would buy myself an easel to put my canvases on and more canvases of course lol What would you buy yourself?
The arkham Asylum Files. What I did get from my sister which I throughly enjoyed was the House of Dragon one you posed 9 months ago. My first ever wooden escape puzzle.😊😊😊😊❤
I love all the little pirate details on this and the look is awesome. I would totally buy myself a Karakuri puzzel box if I could. Love seeing this intricate craftsmanship.
On the last step, Chris made it the Lock Picking Lawyer way... 😂👍 I only missed:"nothing on 1, nothing on 2, nothing on 3, 4 is binding, nice click there...."
I love watching your videos I’ve always wanted to do puzzles like this but I know even if I figure them out I wouldn’t be able to put them together plus I don’t have the patience but I do love watching your videos their always calming to watch when I’m having a bad day or just need something to watch while I’m relaxing and taking a break
There are usually QR codes or links to videos that show you how to put a puzzle back together. I don't have a lot of patience either but I recently finished the Sherlock's Camera one with Chris's help haha. There were some tricky parts but the solutions are generally simpler than they look. Yeah, I see Chris lost his patience in that last part of the puzzle but maybe it was too difficult for him. He's usually very good at puzzles (and magic)
I’d probably get myself an ultimate mortal kombat arcade 1up machine. I’ve been wanting one for the longest time. Stepdad just passed so times have been rough. I plan on getting one this holiday or soon.
Hay Chris. Great video as always. You never disappoint mate. Keep it up 👍🏼. If money wasn’t an issue I would definitely buy the TETRA puzzle, that thing was amazing.
I'd love to design a 3d printable sequential puzzle for everyone to use for free. That would be my christmas present to everyone. Bit late now though as I've only just had the idea lol - Maybe in a couple of months
Sorry i was listening to you but was think about my sweet potato who passed away on 12/14/23 @12:40 ,but love puzzle box i had to listened twice ,great puzzle done by you.(SWEET 💜💯💫)ps: doggy minipen.
Chris, you should brainstorm with others and develop a line of puzzles, similar to this, that can be manufactured to be more affordable for the average puzzle enthusiast. Or…an affordable “Puzzle of the Month” subscription, that is actually “worth” it? The monthly “subscription box” service has grown exponentially the past few years. I think there are more than enough people that would be interested. Asta La Winnebago😉🤗
Love channel as always, really wanted to buy the black bicycle edition during the time for support but being a air conditioning technician with not much work during this time lost the privilege..bought the red bicycle and your hollow decks, hope you bring back the black one day as i do want it in my collection till then keep up the good work and appreciate always the videos! Inspiring and soothing as always
Mr. Puzzle did this puzzle last week, and he brute-forced it, as well. I'm not a puzzler, although I enjoy watching content from the both of you, but it would seem to me that if two accomplished puzzlers, such as yourselves, were unable to figure this out, there might be something wrong w/ the design of the puzzle.
I'd would totally buy a sequential discovery puzzle if they weren't expensive but I absolutely do enjoy watching you do these
Same living vicariously thru him lol
They get expensive quickly, sometimes you just have to spoil yourself and pick one up
I would like to, but the cost out-weights the fun. So I will just like some of the others watch Mr. Chris Ramsay do them.

I always really love your set design. Just the array of things like the coins and rope
Lol. At first, i thought the puzzle was huge. Got really surprised 😮.
The intro made the puzzle look really big. The compass made it look like it was one of those big one.
I thought the same....
Thanks Chris!! Always love your videos. The Bottom of the Barrel podcast with Wes is great. Glad I found it!

The issue is there is also no direction whatsoever. It’s not very sequential either. Very discombobulated by the looks of it.

Really cool. I love the creativity of these wood cut type puzzles. Amazing what people can come up with.
I bought myself a espresso machine...on black Friday. Thank you Chris for sharing your fun with us ❤
what I keep putting on my own list is stuff to build puzzles with.

something i’d buy for myself… art of play black box 👀
I love watching you solve puzzles, and solve them along with you.

to answer your question, given the funds....i would but one of those MASSIVE lego sets

If I have a large budget definitely one of the large style puzzles like the ones you like to do.
i would honestly buy just about anything from art of play especially some of the brushed metal home decor items.
A very nice one, but putting it back together again is a bigger puzzle i guess.
What a beautiful puzzle... I'm mesmerized by it
