i love the pun that was included in the puzzle. When i heard it was $1000 I was like damn son that seems unreasonable but after finishing it and seeing how complex it is not only being able to create something like this but also having the woodworking skills to piece it together i would say makes much more sense to me know why it would cost that.
It's not $1000, it's $345 on their site, but it's sold out. $1000 is still unreasonable. But I guess if people are willing to spend the money, it's reasonable to some?
When you spoke about the brain convincing you that something is broken until you found an answer, thats also how anxiety works and it kind of made me feel normal for a second. Thanks, Chris. There are so many reasons that I watch your videos.
Why does every single video on TH-cam have to have a comment about anxiety these days? Everyone has anxiety. You're not special. Claiming anxiety doesn't make you cool, or get you brownie points, or whatever you're fishing for. Just stfu about anxiety already. I hope my comment gave you anxiety, but don't leave a comment about it because I don't wanna hear it.
When you do puzzle videos, you’re on your own and you’re really humble as you explore with uncertainty - and I feel like we meet you in these videos in a different way than in the magic videos. Very fun. Thanks for the video!
This is not hateful, it's not an attack on you, it's just a wake up call. Weird? It's weird people think life should be any certain way. Look at any movie or video game and look at the starting point to the final scene and see how drastically different most are. People are weird for thinking they have any say in the matter. Welcome to the real world.
People need to start living their lives like they did before this outbreak came upon Us just practice high degrees of sanitization hand sanitizer and go on with your life The sooner we stop with these dumb masks and allowing the government to treat us like a bunch of cattle the sooner will all be back to normal
I think you’re supposed to put the bearing in that eye and put it in the socket with the hole that he put the bearing in. You’re probably supposed to spin it and the bearing falls into that hole but he just skipped putting it in the eye entirely
@@asei231 i think ticketbooth was referring to spinning the whole puzzle to make the bearing fall into the hole, im not sure how spinning any of the pieces would do anything.
Each puzzle is different, and the chest puzzle that the card game makers made was the coolest looking one in my opinion, as far as on screen Aesthetics goes anyways. I'm really into the hidden puzzles and designs which that one hit the mark
Love this video, makes me feel like I'm chilling with you, having a drink and solving puzzles to keep our brain active. Thanks for the calming nature of your video, especially helping me to take the time to wind down and breathe. X
Wow! That was an incredible puzzle. These small wooden puzzles are usually quick to solve, but omg this one wasn't. So very cleverly designed. Top marks to the designer! And well done Chris for Solving this one, I'd be screaming at it! 😂 😂
Great video! Loved how it said “no whining or crying” and you proceeded to whine about a possible piece for a good portion of the video! 😂 Keep up the fantastic work! ❤️
What is crazy about that puzzle is that 25 years ago I used to make jewelry boxes just for fun while working for the Ritz-Carlton. I used to take my lunch breaks in the wood shop and make jewelry boxes. The guesses that you made about the puzzle just gave me ideas about creating a similar puzzle, but with slightly more devious mechanisms.. I sure wish I still had access to all of that woodworking equipment.
The purpose of that cut out in the first eye, seems to be a place to put your finger, in order to hold it against the eye socket to release the magnet holding the other eye. Love watching you solve puzzles. Your amazing.
Chris, I have a thought about something to add to your videos. After you solve these puzzles you put them back together and then solve it again showing the full sequence of solving it in one go knowing the solution.
The "Red Bearing " WAS red Herring, BUT it was also the solution. That's pure genius. I would have never solved this. I would never have thought of putting that bearing in the eye like that.
This whole time all you needed was a camera and a couch. Imagine all the teslas you could have bought lmao. In all honesty though Chris I hope you read this because I wanna say thank you not only for your content but for leading so many of us to other great creators (Wes, Eric, Alex, and the rest of your crew of misfits). Hopefully 2022 is twice as good as 2021 for the 1st and Ramsay family. Happy new year man.
I loved watching it. I just don’t know if I could have solved it! Aaah!! I am always so impressed by how Chris solves & never loses it to frustration when he gets stuck!!
Solving my Rubik's Cube while watching your vid...like most times watching. You verbally explained anxiety so well through a puzzle. Much like the red bearing final move, we stumble and stumble and stumble....and sometimes we just need that chance happening to get us through a tough time. keep pushing!
I don't think I was ever interested that much in puzzles but finding your channel some years back actually made me curious and what I've enjoyed the most was your chilled attitude! Please fuck that timer 😅 and enjoy the puzzles like you used to ☺️

At the point of you asking what I'd do, I'd see if the new tool bar thingy needs to be near the eye brows or if the box that came out has more to it. Excited to see the end and love this puzzle!
I haven't finished the video yet but all I can think about is rotating the the piece with the gear around the gears on the box. I just had to get that out of my system 🤣
Terrific puzzle & nice solve Chris! Thanks for a great year of puzzle solving videos! Happy Holidays to you & your family! Be well and stay safe! Looking forward to what you have in store for us next year! 👍👍🎄🎄🎄🎄👍👍
Can't be more direct...SUPER happy to see you put the puzzle back together...such a great relief to finally see it in video form. Awesome video! Like deserved. Also..camera angle, perspective, and vibe is better than a decent majority of a lot of the best OTHER puzzle videos in your library..Not trying to be a critic..honestly..but REALLY enjoyed this one.
Really enjoyed the laid back presentation and how you solved this devious and delightful puzzle. I knew there was something fishy about the red bearing but couldn't quite plaice my finger on it.
