    How do you go about making a spinning enamel pin to send to the manufacture?

      I've never made one personally, but if I was going to do it, I would probably make the design in 2 parts. One design for each layer. Make sure to label them clearly and then find some images and even video of examples of what you are trying to achieve. Sending examples of what you want is always a good move

      Good question! That is an epoxy pin. It's typically a full color print that is covered with a layer of shiny epoxy

    How is this a "Complete Guide" to making enamel pins, when someone else is doing the making, and you're just doing the designing??

    • @nickqtv
      @nickqtv  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      bc that is how the process works...?

      @@nickqtv It's not though. Your guide is about how to design enamel pins and have someone else make them. Believe it or not, you can make an enamel pin yourself, from design through CNC and enamel application, so to call your guide to making them "complete" while you're only focusing on design, is misleading.

      @@glencandle1772 this is how 99% of people make their pins

    • @glencandle1772

      @@nickqtv Hopefully those 99% know that they're not actually the maker, they're the designer. Did you ever notice that Apple products say "Designed in California, Made in China"? I swear I'm not trolling, I'm a product designer and this distinction is important to me.

    So again, the ethical title of this video would be 'How to design pins and outsource the manufacturing'. That's not making.
