Any glue will work.. Where u live? They must b having local white glue type thing... If not try any glue available. U can try sticky tapes...

hey guys if you don’t have safety pins use an old earring or thumb tack and hot glue it to the back it works that’s what i did YOUR WELCOME!

using clear nail polish on hot glue makes it completely clear, so for the earrings encased in hot glue, just use clear nail polish (or glittery clear nail polish) on both sides and it creates a nice, almost clear resin like effect (but if there are bubbles it will show)
This was super helpful, i made the second hot glue one and i managed to make 8 pins and pin them onto my school bag.

Oh, it’s like slang- from England.
Here is a tip for anyone without safety pins, if you already have a back (the bit you put on a pin so it doesn’t stab you) you can use drawing pins. I did and it worked fine.

This is the best and easiest way to do pins I tried the second way and received dozens of compliments
U can always use old earrings 👐. I didn’t have parchment paper so I used wax then put vegetable oil on it, and it turned out fine 👍

You can use very fine sandpaper to smoothen the edges of the dried hot glue.
This definitely helped me! I was trying to find different ways to make pins for my friend.
BEST TUTORIAL I'VE EVER WATCHED!! I made so many pins and they all look amazing!! (tip! if you want your pins to look shiny but you don't have modge podge or glue, just put on tape before you take it off the parchment paper, then cut it out ((i used the hot glue technique))
my friend and i are starting a pin company, we tried the plastic method and it didnt work, gonna try this method so thank you so much!

I tried this i drew them and they turned out great i found the glue gun bit over it for protection not so great but the mod podge was perfect this is the best idea ive found i also found you can use blank stud earrings instead of safety pins

you can also save your styrofoam takeout cups and boxes, and draw on them, then put them in the oven for 5 minutes! it works like shrinky dinks!

You can seal you stuff with Mod Podge Dimensional Magic or Glossy Accents to make a hard glossy 3D coat! So much better than hot glue. If done right, it looks like resin though not as tough! However, I only use this method if I’m doing crafts with friends since it is nontoxic and easier to work with. It’s a better alternative to resin especially if you’re a minor or are doing crafts with minors, are hesitant to work with harsher chemicals, or are in a confined space like a bedroom.
Resin is actually cheaper in the long run, though you will need some gear and leveling prep as well as safety precautions as that stuff can ruin your eyes and skin badly. I was comfortable working with resin since I regularly work in a chem lab, I know my lab safety and had my gear at home. I used my dad’s workshop tools for assistance.

When you make the drawings, does copic markers work or will it come off as well?
I don't think they will, I haven't tried it but they *are* alcohol based so it probably won't.
Probably wouldn't. The erasable marker she used disappeared because those use friction (I.e. heat) to disappear, and the hot glue was enough to basically do the same thing.

hey guys if you don’t have safety pins, you can try using old stud earrings, or random things around your house or junk drawers that you aren’t going to use! honestly you can recycle just about anything that has something similar to a safety pin/ and or stud earrings! plus it’s always fun to try and get creative with things you might have around the house anyway! :)

Finally something to do with the hot glue that oozes out of my gun when I'm not using it. I always feel a little guilty when I put my glue gun down in the middle of a project and when I turn back to it a few mins later there's a pile of glue.

WARNING!! NOVEL ALERT!! I love this video the ways to make the pins really helped me!! I have a suggestion though, if you didnt have mod podge and only had hot glue heres something you can do!! First when you press down the hot glue on the back of the pin you can let that dry and then melted a sheet of plastic onto the remaining hot glue around the pin and cut off the excess. Anyways thanks for reading this hope it helped!!
