    Great video, thanks.
    Does a pool with diamond brite need to be completely chipped down to resurface? We have a couple holes in the deep end corners.

    What is the deck surface finish on the concrete? Great job on the pool video! Thank you for posting and sharing 🎉

    Thank you for a great informative video. I have a concrete floor and fiberglass sides on my pool. Will diamond brite work on the fiberglass?

      Yes, absolutely

    I used to put a gallon of water and a gallon of acid with a little shot of Top Job in a 2-gallon plastic watering can keep the fumes down and the acid will flow nice and even down the walls.

    Not a bad price for the size of the pool. Watching this video helped me realize the quotes I received for the resurfacing of my pool is astronomical.

      Glad I could help this job was not the greatest there was a lot of bumps on the bottom of the pool so I don’t know if I’d recommend these guys too thanks for watching

      I live in palm beach county, I have received two quotes. One was really low and the other really high.....which honestly both scare me. I just moved here, so I have no idea what to expect.

      @@Albury19 I'd say Tom Leeman is a contractor who subs....and when the job is good, it's "his guys", when the job is bad, he'll never use those guys again. LOL
      He's just a regular 'ol contractor scumbag. There's a ton of them out there who talk like they know, but has no experience at all.

    Hi. My pool is in pretty good shape, but I have a bit of rust left over from a bad roofing job where they threw their nails directly in the pool. If I drained my pool and then pressure washed it, is it possible to then just paint it with diamond brite?

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is a pretty good question. I’ve never didn’t counter that and not quite sure how you would handle it but I’m sure there’s a way to fix it.

    If I did this type of work , it would look terrible. I have watched many videos of this type of repair. I still don't see how you do it.

      You have to get set a crew to do it because it sets up fast these guys were mediocre at best

    What is the purpose of muriatic acid at the end of the process?

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it makes a type of chemical bond

      The contractor should have the men wearing respirators to protect against acid fumes. It's probably required by OSHA.

      I think you definitely gotta get all the bubbles out and make sure that it’s clear of that. Good luck on your new pool.
