When Ben wanted them to buy furnitures and stuff for their house and to become more responsible, April was vehemently against it, it's Andy who convinced her and showed her that they could become a bit more responsible and STILL keep their child-like behaviour and dynamic. That's something only Andy could have accomplished. And when April was hesitating about jobs, moving, getting more responsibilities and such, Andy was also always there to push her towards it, telling her how amazing she'd be at it, how it was important for her to do what she truly liked, and so on. Like I said, he shouldn't have involved anyone else in trying to sell his cabin if he wanted the place to be "honored" and used as he intended but the fact that he makes the decision when he got an offer he liked - that's something I can get behind. He didn't plan to sell his property because he needed money or resources so why should that be the deciding factor? He goes against his stated ideals often enough and usually just because of a whim he's too stubborn to let go.
