Ive always knew Nobu and De Niro were business partners I didn't know De Niro convinced him to expand. I've only worked for one Japanese restaurant in my life and I had the weirdest and stirctist restaurant experiences I ever had. I remember it really well.
Excellent quality, insanely expensive. Ate at the Malibu location. Beautiful location, gorgeous presentation. Left the lunch hungry, and minus several hundred dollars. …..luckily In-N-Out Westlake Village around the corner. 🤷🏼♂️😀👍
I love the food and was ecstatic when he opened a branch in Newport Beach, but I stopped coming since Robert DeNiro's politics left a bitter taste on my sushi.
nice man. His Matsuhisa is not very good, amazing that he was able to spring to such stature with it. And none of that is Japanese food. But it is what the people in the USA with zero taste want. Ignorance wins there
I worked at nobu Malibu in the 2000s and it was an amazing experience. Nobu is a genius and employs good people.

What a remarkable life! Would love a Netflix film about Chef Matsuhisa….produced by De Niro of course! 😊
The goat 🐐
Nobu is like Applebee's bit for rich people
It's actually Matsuhisa, not Matsuhisha.

I checked reviews on Yelp, many one star reviews, too expensive to eat there too.

Its bc of the kardashians
His restaurants were already famous long before the Kardashian's.
It's bc of Ray J's sex tape.
