Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Just booked a two bedroom suite on the Norwegian Star for April on a European cruise. We are a Disney family so I appreciate your comparison to being at Disney 😊.
Awesome. Enjoy! We really enjoyed the breakfast for suite guests. And we just got off the Disney Fantasy. Hope to get the videos up in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for the overview as we just booked a 11 day land and sea cruise on NCL Pride of America in there Deluxe Owner's Suite on deck 12 for mid to late October 2025 to the Hawaiian Islands. Our first time booking a Suite but like you we wanted high quality, space, luxury and tranquility with a big balcony in prime location to take in all the beautiful sights of the Hawaiian Islands as this will be our first trip there. Also having a concierge and butler during the cruise part 7 days and no sea days will keep things stress free, we hope. Lol. This will be a bucket list trip, so we decided to do it in style. Lol. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
Hello. Thanks for the very informative video. Can you please advise about what the dinner options are for those in a Suite? Also, is spa access included? Thx
The were no dinner perks beyond the "Free at Sea" perks, which for a balcony or suite are 2 specialty dining meals for both passengers 1 and 2 in the cabin for a 7-night cruise. On this cruise we did La Cucina (Italian) and Le Bistro (French) and did the main dining room (Venetian) the other nights. There were no spa perks that came with our cabin.
When I am going on the Jade in March 2025 in an Aft-Facing Penthouse Suite with Large Balcony and it comes with a butler and concierge but then i was told it was NOT part of the Haven proper so I was told that I won't have access to the Haven restaurant or sun deck. When paying over $10k for 10 days I'm wondering why they are thinking they can exclude this room from access to the Haven amenities? Am I not even going to get the Haven priority access upon boarding or disembarking?
If you are not in a “Haven Room” you are not I the Haven. Having said that, and keeping in mind that I have not been on the Jade yet, the Jade has a very small Haven area - I think it is just a courtyard and sun deck. There is no dedicated Haven restaurant. You should get special embarkation and disembarkation with that suite. You should also get special suite access only breakfast in one of the specialty dining restaurants. That was definitely a highlight for us. I loved the French press coffee. Our kids loved the service. They were treated so well, even when they weren’t with us. Best wishes on your trip planning.
How many rooms was the Butler and concierge in charge of? How often was the Butler with you during the day and was there any wait for them to respond to your requests. I was told that my room 9172 on the Jade was not a 24/7 Butler. So at almost 4 times the cost of a regular balcony why do they paint my room as a Haven priced room, but treat the occupants as if they are a stepchild and not a real Haven Family member?
The Dawn (ship we were on in a Deluxe Owners Suite) doesn’t have a Haven complex at all. I can’t speak to the number of rooms they are assigned, but we did find them to be accessible as needed. First, you will have access to the concierge before the cruise. This is great for reservations and room needs/requests before the cruise. After the boarding, we enjoyed the butler/concierge service the most for the following: 1) adjusting reservations; 2) bringing and replenishing snacks (sandwiches, candy, and soda) that we requested; and 3) helping with special needs. On the first night we had rough seas and one of our teenagers got really seasick. The concierge brought us seasick medication and anti nausea bands. On the last morning our other teenager notified us they had lost their keycard shortly before we were to disembark. The concierge brought us a replacement card within 20 minutes. We were really impressed with the level of responsiveness, but do understand that they have other guests as well. Good luck with your planning and enjoy your cruise.
Agree… we are going on NCL Dawn African cruise this January2024 and wanted to know more… both looking at each other for agreement or something had me stop watching..

That sounds like an amazing trip. Best wishes on your planning. We definitely got spoiled by the butler and concierge.

@iconic-adventures thank you that helps to know some about what they can do on the Dawn, hoping that the Jade is similar.
She is too generic with her likes. I want specifics about what the butler does and doesn’t do!
Stop looking at each other and look at the camera. Are you telling each other about these perks, or your audience?
Thanks for the feedback.
