By 10am after watching this video, I'm excited to dust of my pc and explore azeroth some more. I'm sure lots of channels like this keep the game alive. But you bring a much needed excitement to an old game. And you're soothing voice adds to the excitement. So grateful to have you be a major part of our wow community. Great video.
Agreed. Until I quit, Archvaldor, Rex Troy, and wowsecrets really boosted my interest in the game. There are others, but these are the things I found most enjoyable. The parasitic design from Legion forward was the cancer these were the radiation treatment

I always thought the party-sync-to-kill-rares method of leveling was pretty fun, and used it as a supplementary activity for toons I wasn't focused on directly leveling. The gold from certain drops was a bonus as well. This use is itself astonishing. It seems like oversight. However, as you mentioned, seemingly no one has had action against them for the other party sync activities, so it appears to be "working as intended" until Blizzard decides it isn't. Well put together, as always.

But they seem to be walking back that change so who knows? A less strict attitude to this sort of trick would help them get back subs I think.
You are a real perfectionist though. Just a thought but I think you will find that some of your random ideas that don't excite you particularly can be content that will explode. Your random ideas are better than most people's quality content. Like the solo ashran thing is probably the best thing I've ever done but it won't get a tenth of the views this video will. TH-cam is weird.

Know that it was an agreed part of our life that we would have no children and for that 1st 18 years we did not. Not wanting kids we felt like we wouldn't be the best candidates for parents and would have chose to not had the baby. Now then, Babs is just a lil bit on the plus size... good for me ( wink ) but not so good for this situation because we didn't notice until it was too late. and that was that. For example I thought the spectrum was a wide scale that spanned a bunch of possible placements, like 10 or more. As it turns out the Autism spectrum has only 3 levels. 1 being the lowest & 3 being the highest. So of course with Murphy's Law clearly at play Solis is level 3. and its very challenging to say the least. cant quite remember...there was also something else going on...oh yes, FUCKING COVID! lol But that's not important right now... you just happened to comment on the very day we have been waiting for. Today we got our final confirmation on our HUD housing. In 1 week we will be moving out of the slum lord hell we are now in, into a remodeled and fully furnished 2 BR apartment. Fully like fully.. pots & pans, dishes, silverware, linens and even an initial stocking of food. Long story short ( too late ) when I say hell it was as close as it could be. Whatever you could imagine was going on to and around us probably was. This move will help put everything on track for us and make a lot of things better and easier. Up to and including freed up time that might even allow me a boring return to WoW. I didn't have the most fun ever w/ this expansion and stopped playing all together I think 3 months ago, with the exception of daily loggings to Hearthstone. Yes it is very fast. Indeed you could psync it and that would be literally one of the fastest ways to level. But I suspect I'd get a lot of abuse for even suggesting it: not sure if you know/remember but wod content used to be locked behind and everyone begin to hate the intro after doing it thirty billion times.
That is true. I've mentioned that a few times. I could make a video about it but I can't imagine the hate I'd get for recommending people do the sl intro multiple times. Worth adding you can mount in the intro version of the maw.
Haha That little Draenor skip should be VERY familiar to anyone that's been twinking in the last few years :D i use this route to speed setup my garrison on a new twink toon for my screwdriver. Might come back and level some toons with this methods appreciate it Archvaldor
also man - years down the line and Class trials are still the godsend giving back to us, always in the wrong way too I LOVE IT! Last year i hit 5Mill gold between my two twink servers spamming Boomy class trial on the Gnolls in Highmountain. Also got all my twinks geared this way as well. Requires multiple accounts but i really dont know a better method. Get some level 25s to loot the gnolls, Thus scaling the gear drops (looking for socket/ Tertiary procs) to level 20 requirement gear. additionally you can take all the lockboxes trade them to one of the characters between all of them, Mail them to another Class trial ROgue to unlock them, then send them all to level 20 char to open and get the correct loot table drops. With a boomy at the gnolls i can moonfire macro + starfall and get about 2500 Kills per hour. very commendable for only needing to level a single level 24/25 char. the more level 24s tho the more loot chances
Aargh I want to do classic so much but it SO time consuming just to get your characters in a place where they can do any exploits relative to retail. There is some stuff on the patreon on classic and I'll be doing more for wotlk but I wouldn't sign up for that reason alone (much as I would love to have you). Btw ty for the kind words.

@@nefariousentertainment3902 I have had offers like that and I decline them because it is SO easy to end up the type of person who exploits people's generosity-I've seen it happen multiple times with other youtubers I used to respect-I just don't trust myself to go full Arthas on that one. At some point I may be able to afford to pay people but I'm a way off that at the moment with the decline in wow's popularity. That said I really appreciate the offer ty.
Someone else below noticed too but patch notes mentioned: Removed the experience point reduction that is applied to level 51-60 characters while in Party Sync. As for the video, I would think based on old routes SMV (/FFR), Gorgrond, and Talador maybe just the beginning of Spires, really depends on enchants (some get disabled in party sync also, like shattered hand I believe). There were a couple of bonus objectives in Spires that were doable but took a decently long time, to the left of the map, one had caves, maybe for being optimal those would be better to not do. Certainly am going to check if I still have a blood elf pally for the new emerald mount/polearm, if not time to level.
I remember someone saying if Blizzard had done everything they promised wod have been the best expansion ever. If you look at some of the deleted content on Hayven Games old channel you can see that might well have been true.
@@archvaldor I think this is true for every xpac. Every xpac they promise a bunch of stuff and that they'll listen to the community and that they'll....run it down and make awful choices.
Yeah, although my favorite is MoP. I just liked all the humor and hidden content you could find by just running around and ignoring the story at times. I even leveled a panda just gathering on the starter island to 90. I think that was during a later expansion but I’d just run around gathering and using my joke toys on new players. I didn’t like that once you chose a faction there was nothing panda related in the rest of the world. They should have had other pandas there as questgivers talking about how different it was from home or something.
Don’t forget you can gather at full xp until you learn the gathering skill for that expansion. It’s a convoluted set of rules for gathering and xp, but I recall I would get full using your party sync method. But I’m no longer current on the game so better check that and correct me if I’m out of date.
I remember a madseasonshow vid about that which was very popular. Even though it wasn't especially fast. There's a few tricks I know you can use with that which might make a fun video.
Yeah I think you are right it will slow you down doing this method, but most people have trouble maintaining the discipline to grind through at peak timing so I mention it to break the monotony at times.
@@archvaldor I used it when I was doing the rates around elwyn because sometimes I wasn’t first to get the rare, even on war mode. I think I suggested doing the pet daily battles as a time filler if that happened but you had to drop party sync for the xp and then re-sync to get the rares again. So I just picked flowers and mined.
There was an interesting note in today's patch. "Removed the experience point reduction that is applied to level 51-60 characters while in Party Sync." Hoping that makes leveling methods like this viable. One time through Shadowlands was enough for me.
@@archvaldor I just tried to party sync my level 50 character in classic zones (elwynn forest, westfall and such), and it appears that now they scale those zones back to 30, instead of 50, effectively killing the levelling method of killing rares. By checking the levels of each zone on the world map (while party sync is on), it seems that the only viable zones are the ones from BFA. Am I doing anything wrong, or was this "buff" actually a nerf? I was really looking forward to levelling my 50 chars to 60 using my elwynn/westfall/redridge/duskwood/stv routes, but it seems it won't work :(
@@Shadden I tried using a lowbie in chromie time as the leader and all the zones scaled to 50. I couldn't try leveling though as I don't have a sub on an account with SL right now, but that looks like it would work. I went into war mode while the lowbie sat in normal Stormwindat level 10 and everything still looked OK from flying around.
Man I got excited when I saw this comment, as I also agree with one time through Shadowlands was enough for me. Tested party sync with a 57 Druid party synced to Tirsfall Glades, mobs did not level scale to 57 they stayed 50. Rare kills awarded 11k xp (1 full bar and a bit, not bad!) Hit 58 pretty quickly and XP rewarded for rare kills went to 9k XP...so almost a full bar of experience. Not as fixed as I hoped, timewalking still seems to be the fastest/easiest way 50-60 atm outside of Shadowlands content. Still its kind of an option now?
Good video, from my experience, i'd personally say it's faster to level by questing and skipping the bonus objectives completely in draenor - but the good thing about this method is that you dont have to practice a route, so you can just fly around, do the bonus objectives, party sync it up, and watch something on the other monitor if you have one :)
You may be right but it would be close. Looking at video from expert speedrunners they just edge it. However those guys are REALLY good at what they do. Even leveling through Northrend or whatever for the 15th time I can't remember exactly where the cave entrance to the 32nd quest is. You have to be unusually focused to remember every last time-saving detail. If you can't quest efficiently (and I'm guessing you are one of the relative few who can) then this is much better.
@@archvaldor Yeah i completely agree, thats what i meant, that for your method you dont need to ingrain specific questing paths in your mind, u just fly between the objectives. Its a great guide. I like watching any type of leveling stuff to see what I can put into my speedruns as well :D
I tired this, post 9.2.5. I waited the day to tick daily quests over and attempted to do the objectives again. Party synced with my starter and yes the objectives can be seen and done but no additional reward. So you can do them one additional time for that day. Have not tried to do additional starter toons for more laps of bonus objectives...

According to the patch notes that should have been implemented but wasn't. We are waiting to see whether they implement the announced changes or not. Right now wow is a huge fucking mess of bugs the like of which I've never seen.

what about the xp potion available from garrison vender? and the xp potions from Battle for Azeroth? Battle for Azeroth one works to level 50 and is additional 10 percent. Garrison, one works to 40 I think
The potions became useless as far back as bfa because you could level out before you finished building your tier 3 garrison. They were level restricted too
Back before the level squish, I used to level from 90-100 using this exact method, then from 100-110 using Legion Invasion quests. For some reason, I distinctly remember party sync not working for the Legion Invasion World Quests. Even so, I remember them giving a huge amount of XP for barely any time spent. How are those faring today?
The most important question I have is: How does this compare to other leveling strategies, in terms of time /played? 10-50 is a pretty fast bracket, even if all one does is follows questing routes through the better scaling zones in Chromie Time they should hit 50 in under 6 hours (unbuffed, with WM ON).
There are two reasons, one is speed and this is faster by around 20-30%, and the other is ease. If you are speed leveling you have to remember where the cave entrance and all that bs is, and you can't really afk it while watching netflix like you can with this.The latter consideration is more important to most hence the title.
@@TheSilentpulse 10-50, not 1-50. 1-10 adds an extra ~30-40 minutes with Exile's reach. The main thing is that not all zones' experience rewards scale the same way in Chromie Time, so certain zones offer considerably more at specific level brackets. So you can pick the ones that scale well for your current level and have tight routes, and simply quest through there until you reach the next bracket or run out of stuff to do. The channel "Kraken Latte" has done a lot of research on this and put together a recommended zones list for both factions. I've found it quite effective. EDIT: I should add, that the current 10-50 record is 3 hours 3 minutes (Alliance), with extra buffs.
@@Fharlion i was a speedrunner myself and just leveld 3 chars 1-60. the last was 14hours 1-50 and i thought it was pretty damn fast already. i did draenor on one char in the later phases and saw the bonus objectives dont give alot xp and then saw last night that you get basically the same xp at low levels already - thats probably where the big xp is 10 hours wasted rip
@Archvaldor - do you happen to have a list of quests that grant buffs to you for doing them such as - A Fistful of Slivers (early blood elf quest)? Seems impossible to find, and might be a great topic!
I have consciously avoided even writing it down in ink for my personal use. Reason is Blizzard will fix anything like that however minor so I want zero possibility of them discovering the remaining buffs. They are absolute bastards with this type of thing and I can't risk it sorry.
I have 50 characters across multiple realms. The fastest way to level by far is a premade of 5 good players spamming bfa random dungeons and skipping straight to last boss.
There's way to glitch infinite mobs using various exploits which would be faster for a 5 man premade, but that's a not bad approach. I don't generally do videos where the play is "get four really good guys to help you"-if people had that kind of support they don't need my content.
@@archvaldor difference is 5 man dungeon spam wont put you in risk of getting banned, but yes videos where you need another person are usually dumb because then you'd probably just DuoQ dungeons anyway.
Interesting you've turned to basic friendly guides now instead of exploits. The intro skip is a good tip. I think WOD is already well known as the fastest levelling. Personally, I prefer Legion and doing the order halls - but that's because it's actually new content each time until you've done them all. I don't know that repeating the objectives is needed - if you just do the quests including the garrison setup, you'll be done and ready to leave wod partway thru the 2nd zone.
I'm not sure whether this is an exploit or not frankly-Blizzard never gives any kind of guidance and is completely inconsistent. I've always done a mix of stuff-pure exploit content does not do well on youtube. I agree the Legion order hall content is excellent-this is meant to be completely brainless, fast and easy but not especially fun. Maybe I should do a "level this way its actually fun" guide.
@@archvaldor Party-Sync is in a grey area when defining exploits. I’m not sure Blizz has ever outlined exactly what Party-Sync is intended for, so it feels like an exploit, but may be also how they wanted you to play the game to improve leveling speeds without adding more content.
A lot of his content is exploit only in that you make the most of their silly design flaws. If they didn’t work so hard to make this mmorpg a rail-like linear progression one size fits all grind, we probably wouldn’t have found this channel because would be playing instead of watching TH-cam

Hey I have no world quests in draenor on my level 32, on blizzard forums it says to unlock you have to be 45 and complete the quest Uniting the Isles, but there are people in comments saying they did it at a lower level. What should I do?
So far as I know it is 45. I'm guessing the people who did at a lower level did it in prior patches. For some reason Blizzard decided to mess the Broken Isles up completely and remove much of their functionality. I'd appreciate a correction if any one knows different.
No special trick there I just test things multiple times before I shoot footage (you wouldn't believe the number of stupid things which can mess up a recording). Of course once you clear the objectives once if you come back and do it again the next time the map is already explored with all reset bonus objectives visible.

Not AV, but having done a lot of this m'self, twinking out your looms goes a very long way. Supplement with wtvr happens to drop that seems like a huge upgrade.
I was able to do every bonus objective twice, but after that I cannot do it again daily as you mentioned. I turn on party sycn, do all objectives, but upon completion I receive a message "Replay quest removed" and it rewards no exp. Was it patched?
So I have an issue, I did all the bonus objectives, party sync'd to another account on my bnet, did all the objectives again, but after that was done I cudnt get xp from objectives anymore. They'll show up again on my map, but have no indicated xp gain and when completed, don't give any xp either. I did try party syncing with a new toon on the other account, still no xp.
Yeah you can only do it twice on the first day, then once thereafter. Otherwise you could just do the same objective to max. It is not quite that easy.
Im pretty sure I know the answer to this but just to make sure.. I dont need a starter account if I already have 2 active WoW accounts right? Party sync still works the same correct?
That's right. I just go on about free starter edition accounts because if I don't people assume you NEED two paid accounts and stop watching. If you have two paid accounts it is less hassle and faster.
Is there any gold making technique on your patreon for people that have very limited time to play the game? I wanted to keep my account active with gold and I'm willing to pay the patreon fee to learn about that
There's a lot of gold making stuff on the patreon-other than leveling it is the main reason people sign up. People tend to say "er when is the next gold article" if I publish anything else.
He has some videos here too for fast run instances that can net you some raw gold, but you don’t want party sync or chromie time on for those. I think they were designed for under 1 hour.
Pet battles seem to give 3% pre level 50, and 1.6% xp post level 50 as of 9.2.5, might try the party sync thing, but there's nothing like being lazy AF and just mashing a hot key on a 2nd PC to level with pet battles. It's all around ~4k xp per pet battle on my level 30 and up characters.
Amen to that. A guy on my patreon published a really ingenious 2- button simple strategy for that - it isn't any faster than leveling normally but it is so chill pressing 2 buttons and watching Netflix.
@@archvaldor The only spot I know of for it is in Vale, can use any 6 flying pets to mow everything down. For older hardware they recently broke the client though and you have to go to the config can change the graphics api to "-d3d11legacy" if one wants to run it on some old laptop or tablet. I would level from PvP, but blizzard completely broke it when they changed the heirloom trinkets, a loss only gives ~3%, with a win giving X4 of that. Non 60 PvP became a waste of time.
Doing this with a 44 prot pally. I've been around most of Frostfire Ridge and just got an achievement for doing 3 bonus objectives out here. That's all there was. Not sure how I'm supposed to hit 50 off this if there are only a few in each area.
If the patch notes come into force tomorrow as it stands then this video's method will actually work from 50-60. Psync restrictions are being removed from 50-60.

Yes but the game knows and won't give you any xp the third time, at least until the daily reset. One of my patreons worked out an ingenious method to bypass this a few years back but it got fixed....pity you could dupe gold and xp with it.
I can't see any humour in that unfortunately..I spent several decades as a professional gambler and nothing I saw in the casino world was anything like as manipulative as what Blizzard are doing now.

By overtuned I mean the bonus objectives require you to kill significantly more things. There are several quests there which take 400% longer to complete than the easy Talador quest I mentioned. I agree the storyline in Spires is very good, one of the best in the game.
There are a number of videos in my channel archive which cover 50-60 I think most still work-mostly variations on killing rares. The method in this video may actually work as of tomorrow June as Blizzard seem be re-allowing psync from 50-60.
But why level fast? It just hastens the point where you have to slog through Shadowlands content. Or have they released the new expansion yet? Seriously though it looks the fastest methods since they nerfed the full xp for the continuous re spawning Raven hatchlings (had to do before the garrison is built). I was sad to see that one go. Just tap your aoe ability key over and over while you watched a movie or something. Best method for raising clerics … rip

@@archvaldor it’s been awhile. I sent that to you through ownedcore under my gaming account email (this used to be my business email). I don’t recall exactly but it still worked during the beginning of BFA. I only started fast leveling after they tied crafting to your and access to expansions so my priest characters i fast leveled. (When I first played I deleted characters when they hit Max level and started over - limited slots and no switching talent trees)
You had to use the portal from mop under the island to get there without doing the intro quest chain and I accidentally found the hatchlings gave full xp and respawned right away. It still worked after chromie time allowed you to start there at level ten. Which patch after that killed it I’m not sure but I think it was 9.1 shadowlands BUT there was a glitch, if you killed them all at once the re spawn counter was like normal so you would make sure they didn’t all die at once. It wasn’t so much the fastest method just the easiest to semi afk.
@@archvaldor it wasn’t fast until chromie time. At that point it was fast for the low levels that skipped draenor intro quest. I used to do it with discipline priest alts to gain a quick dozen levels but there was no loot - it was just level crafting alts after they tied crafting to level - which as of when I quit the game it still had. For example you could chromie time to play legion content but some of the crafting recipes required you be the appropriate pre-chromie level to learn. The ravens were never as good as the party sync rare mob method you had. I just learned this one on my own by accident. But they were one hit kill mobs that gave full xp for your level. And as long as you always had one alive the others respawned very fast. If you wiped all of them then the normal resplendent clock went into effect. So you had to locate against the embankment at the back of the nest so the aoe wouldn’t cover the entire area the spawned in. Once they respawned, some would fly in a small circle and they would enter the aoe range sporadically if you did this. Before chromie time, it has diminishing returns as you would leve out of the content. With 9.0 though you could do it a long time
Perhaps...but that won't stop people trying. I try not to make stuff which is "This is what you SHOULD be doing", and more "This is what can help you do what you want...".
I paid a website $50 and they levelled it for me - I figured, if I can spend half an hours wages and get the result, that's probably the most meta way to level

Agreed. Until I quit, Archvaldor, Rex Troy, and wowsecrets really boosted my interest in the game. There are others, but these are the things I found most enjoyable. The parasitic design from Legion forward was the cancer these were the radiation treatment

I always thought the party-sync-to-kill-rares method of leveling was pretty fun, and used it as a supplementary activity for toons I wasn't focused on directly leveling. The gold from certain drops was a bonus as well.
This use is itself astonishing. It seems like oversight. However, as you mentioned, seemingly no one has had action against them for the other party sync activities, so it appears to be "working as intended" until Blizzard decides it isn't.

But they seem to be walking back that change so who knows? A less strict attitude to this sort of trick would help them get back subs I think.

With various complications Babs had a 12 week premature birth ( 22 weeks along but told her she was 25 weeks because they went by the measurement of her tummy. Other than being very small & playing catchup with a long way to go Luna is a textbook baby.
Solis on the other hand is teaching us a great deal about Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
For example I thought the spectrum was a wide scale that spanned a bunch of possible placements, like 10 or more. As it turns out the Autism spectrum has only 3 levels. 1 being the lowest & 3 being the highest. So of course with Murphy's Law clearly at play Solis is level 3. and its very challenging to say the least. cant quite remember...there was also something else going on...oh yes, FUCKING COVID! lol But that's not important right now... you just happened to comment on the very day we have been waiting for. Today we got our final confirmation on our HUD housing. In 1 week we will be moving out of the slum lord hell we are now in, into a remodeled and fully furnished 2 BR apartment. Fully like fully.. pots & pans, dishes, silverware, linens and even an initial stocking of food. Long story short ( too late ) when I say hell it was as close as it could be. Whatever you could imagine was going on to and around us probably was.
This move will help put everything on track for us and make a lot of things better and easier. Up to and including freed up time that might even allow me a boring return to WoW. I didn't have the most fun ever w/ this expansion and stopped playing all together I think 3 months ago, with the exception of daily loggings to Hearthstone. Jesus Vlad, I haven't even touched on the literally life changing shit that happened to me personally over the last 10 months but I've already left you maybe the longest comment you ever got. Yes it is very fast. Indeed you could psync it and that would be literally one of the fastest ways to level. But I suspect I'd get a lot of abuse for even suggesting it: not sure if you know/remember but wod content used to be locked behind and everyone begin to hate the intro after doing it thirty billion times.

Seems to me that the bonus objectives only give 1700 xp on a lvl 50 using Party Sync on Draenor - Frostfire Ridge

replaying intros on rails is also good for exp mindlessly, especially the wod one. Also, the exp for the shadowlands intro scales by your level
That is true. I've mentioned that a few times. I could make a video about it but I can't imagine the hate I'd get for recommending people do the sl intro multiple times. Worth adding you can mount in the intro version of the maw.

also man - years down the line and Class trials are still the godsend giving back to us, always in the wrong way too I LOVE IT!
Last year i hit 5Mill gold between my two twink servers spamming Boomy class trial on the Gnolls in Highmountain.
Also got all my twinks geared this way as well. Requires multiple accounts but i really dont know a better method.
Get some level 25s to loot the gnolls, Thus scaling the gear drops (looking for socket/ Tertiary procs) to level 20 requirement gear.
additionally you can take all the lockboxes trade them to one of the characters between all of them, Mail them to another Class trial ROgue to unlock them, then send them all to level 20 char to open and get the correct loot table drops.
With a boomy at the gnolls i can moonfire macro + starfall and get about 2500 Kills per hour.
very commendable for only needing to level a single level 24/25 char.
the more level 24s tho the more loot chances

Aargh I want to do classic so much but it SO time consuming just to get your characters in a place where they can do any exploits relative to retail. Someone else below noticed too but patch notes mentioned: Removed the experience point reduction that is applied to level 51-60 characters while in Party Sync. As for the video, I would think based on old routes SMV (/FFR), Gorgrond, and Talador maybe just the beginning of Spires, really depends on enchants (some get disabled in party sync also, like shattered hand I believe). There were a couple of bonus objectives in Spires that were doable but took a decently long time, to the left of the map, one had caves, maybe for being optimal those would be better to not do. Certainly am going to check if I still have a blood elf pally for the new emerald mount/polearm, if not time to level.
Draenor had a lot of good about it, lotta missed opportunities too.
I remember someone saying if Blizzard had done everything they promised wod have been the best expansion ever. If you look at some of the deleted content on Hayven Games old channel you can see that might well have been true.
@@archvaldor I think this is true for every xpac. Every xpac they promise a bunch of stuff and that they'll listen to the community and that they'll....run it down and make awful choices.
Yeah, although my favorite is MoP. I just liked all the humor and hidden content you could find by just running around and ignoring the story at times. I even leveled a panda just gathering on the starter island to 90. I think that was during a later expansion but I’d just run around gathering and using my joke toys on new players.
I didn’t like that once you chose a faction there was nothing panda related in the rest of the world. They should have had other pandas there as questgivers talking about how different it was from home or something.
Don’t forget you can gather at full xp until you learn the gathering skill for that expansion. It’s a convoluted set of rules for gathering and xp, but I recall I would get full using your party sync method. But I’m no longer current on the game so better check that and correct me if I’m out of date.
I remember a madseasonshow vid about that which was very popular. Even though it wasn't especially fast. There's a few tricks I know you can use with that which might make a fun video.
Yeah I think you are right it will slow you down doing this method, but most people have trouble maintaining the discipline to grind through at peak timing so I mention it to break the monotony at times.
@@archvaldor I used it when I was doing the rates around elwyn because sometimes I wasn’t first to get the rare, even on war mode. I think I suggested doing the pet daily battles as a time filler if that happened but you had to drop party sync for the xp and then re-sync to get the rares again. So I just picked flowers and mined.
You can also use the Timeless Isle teleport as well

@@archvaldor I just tried to party sync my level 50 character in classic zones (elwynn forest, westfall and such), and it appears that now they scale those zones back to 30, instead of 50, effectively killing the levelling method of killing rares. By checking the levels of each zone on the world map (while party sync is on), it seems that the only viable zones are the ones from BFA. Am I doing anything wrong, or was this "buff" actually a nerf? I was really looking forward to levelling my 50 chars to 60 using my elwynn/westfall/redridge/duskwood/stv routes, but it seems it won't work :(
@@Shadden I tried using a lowbie in chromie time as the leader and all the zones scaled to 50. I couldn't try leveling though as I don't have a sub on an account with SL right now, but that looks like it would work. I went into war mode while the lowbie sat in normal Stormwindat level 10 and everything still looked OK from flying around.

Tested party sync with a 57 Druid party synced to Tirsfall Glades, mobs did not level scale to 57 they stayed 50. Rare kills awarded 11k xp (1 full bar and a bit, not bad!)
Hit 58 pretty quickly and XP rewarded for rare kills went to 9k XP...so almost a full bar of experience. Not as fixed as I hoped, timewalking still seems to be the fastest/easiest way 50-60 atm outside of Shadowlands content. Still its kind of an option now?

Good video, from my experience, i'd personally say it's faster to level by questing and skipping the bonus objectives completely in draenor - but the good thing about this method is that you dont have to practice a route, so you can just fly around, do the bonus objectives, party sync it up, and watch something on the other monitor if you have one :)
You may be right but it would be close. Looking at video from expert speedrunners they just edge it. However those guys are REALLY good at what they do. Even leveling through Northrend or whatever for the 15th time I can't remember exactly where the cave entrance to the 32nd quest is. You have to be unusually focused to remember every last time-saving detail. If you can't quest efficiently (and I'm guessing you are one of the relative few who can) then this is much better.
@@archvaldor Yeah i completely agree, thats what i meant, that for your method you dont need to ingrain specific questing paths in your mind, u just fly between the objectives. Its a great guide. I like watching any type of leveling stuff to see what I can put into my speedruns as well :D
I tired this, post 9.2.5. I waited the day to tick daily quests over and attempted to do the objectives again. Party synced with my starter and yes the objectives can be seen and done but no additional reward. So you can do them one additional time for that day. Have not tried to do additional starter toons for more laps of bonus objectives...

According to the patch notes that should have been implemented but wasn't. We are waiting to see whether they implement the announced changes or not. Right now wow is a huge fucking mess of bugs the like of which I've never seen.

It is more efficient with flying yeah, but Draenor isn't that bad terrain wise outside Gorgrond. I've done it on foot with the flightpaths unlocked.

Did you psync with a low-level character?
what about the xp potion available from garrison vender? and the xp potions from Battle for Azeroth? Battle for Azeroth one works to level 50 and is additional 10 percent. Garrison, one works to 40 I think
Garrison one was killed off a while back. Draught of the ten lands (BFA) still works yeah.
The potions became useless as far back as bfa because you could level out before you finished building your tier 3 garrison. They were level restricted too

Back before the level squish, I used to level from 90-100 using this exact method, then from 100-110 using Legion Invasion quests.
For some reason, I distinctly remember party sync not working for the Legion Invasion World Quests. Even so, I remember them giving a huge amount of XP for barely any time spent.
How are those faring today?
From what I remember, legion invasions have been effectively killed. They used to give crazy xp, but no longer are worth wasting your time on.
The most important question I have is: How does this compare to other leveling strategies, in terms of time /played?
10-50 is a pretty fast bracket, even if all one does is follows questing routes through the better scaling zones in Chromie Time they should hit 50 in under 6 hours (unbuffed, with WM ON).
There are two reasons, one is speed and this is faster by around 20-30%, and the other is ease. If you are speed leveling you have to remember where the cave entrance and all that bs is, and you can't really afk it while watching netflix like you can with this.The latter consideration is more important to most hence the title.

@@TheSilentpulse 10-50, not 1-50. 1-10 adds an extra ~30-40 minutes with Exile's reach.
The main thing is that not all zones' experience rewards scale the same way in Chromie Time, so certain zones offer considerably more at specific level brackets. So you can pick the ones that scale well for your current level and have tight routes, and simply quest through there until you reach the next bracket or run out of stuff to do.
The channel "Kraken Latte" has done a lot of research on this and put together a recommended zones list for both factions. I've found it quite effective.
EDIT: I should add, that the current 10-50 record is 3 hours 3 minutes (Alliance), with extra buffs.
@@Fharlion i was a speedrunner myself and just leveld 3 chars 1-60. the last was 14hours 1-50 and i thought it was pretty damn fast already.
i did draenor on one char in the later phases and saw the bonus objectives dont give alot xp and then saw last night that you get basically the same xp at low levels already - thats probably where the big xp is

I have consciously avoided even writing it down in ink for my personal use. Reason is Blizzard will fix anything like that however minor so I want zero possibility of them discovering the remaining buffs. They are absolute bastards with this type of thing and I can't risk it sorry.

I have 50 characters across multiple realms. The fastest way to level by far is a premade of 5 good players spamming bfa random dungeons and skipping straight to last boss.
There's way to glitch infinite mobs using various exploits which would be faster for a 5 man premade, but that's a not bad approach. I don't generally do videos where the play is "get four really good guys to help you"-if people had that kind of support they don't need my content.
@@archvaldor difference is 5 man dungeon spam wont put you in risk of getting banned, but yes videos where you need another person are usually dumb because then you'd probably just DuoQ dungeons anyway.

Interesting you've turned to basic friendly guides now instead of exploits. The intro skip is a good tip. I think WOD is already well known as the fastest levelling. Personally, I prefer Legion and doing the order halls - but that's because it's actually new content each time until you've done them all. I don't know that repeating the objectives is needed - if you just do the quests including the garrison setup, you'll be done and ready to leave wod partway thru the 2nd zone.
I'm not sure whether this is an exploit or not frankly-Blizzard never gives any kind of guidance and is completely inconsistent. I've always done a mix of stuff-pure exploit content does not do well on youtube. I agree the Legion order hall content is excellent-this is meant to be completely brainless, fast and easy but not especially fun. Maybe I should do a "level this way its actually fun" guide.
@@archvaldor Party-Sync is in a grey area when defining exploits. I’m not sure Blizz has ever outlined exactly what Party-Sync is intended for, so it feels like an exploit, but may be also how they wanted you to play the game to improve leveling speeds without adding more content.
A lot of his content is exploit only in that you make the most of their silly design flaws. If they didn’t work so hard to make this mmorpg a rail-like linear progression one size fits all grind, we probably wouldn’t have found this channel because would be playing instead of watching TH-cam

Hey I have no world quests in draenor on my level 32, on blizzard forums it says to unlock you have to be 45 and complete the quest Uniting the Isles, but there are people in comments saying they did it at a lower level. What should I do?
So far as I know it is 45. I'm guessing the people who did at a lower level did it in prior patches. For some reason Blizzard decided to mess the Broken Isles up completely and remove much of their functionality. I'd appreciate a correction if any one knows different.

No special trick there I just test things multiple times before I shoot footage (you wouldn't believe the number of stupid things which can mess up a recording). Of course once you clear the objectives once if you come back and do it again the next time the map is already explored with all reset bonus objectives visible.

Pretty much never for leveling. The only time I remember that happening was for the potion exploit in bfa, which wasn't one of mine.
How do you deal with gear lvl getting low when you get higher and higher lvl? Do you find the heirlooms are enough?
Looms should be enough for this, except possibly if you do spires. I only find that an issue from 50-60.
Not AV, but having done a lot of this m'self, twinking out your looms goes a very long way. Supplement with wtvr happens to drop that seems like a huge upgrade.
Why does chromie not show any quest lines or dialog for me?
I was able to do every bonus objective twice, but after that I cannot do it again daily as you mentioned. I turn on party sycn, do all objectives, but upon completion I receive a message "Replay quest removed" and it rewards no exp. Was it patched?
you can only repeat the quests using party sync once every 24hrs if you want rewards.
So I have an issue, I did all the bonus objectives, party sync'd to another account on my bnet, did all the objectives again, but after that was done I cudnt get xp from objectives anymore. They'll show up again on my map, but have no indicated xp gain and when completed, don't give any xp either. I did try party syncing with a new toon on the other account, still no xp.
Yeah you can only do it twice on the first day, then once thereafter. Otherwise you could just do the same objective to max. It is not quite that easy.

That's right. I just go on about free starter edition accounts because if I don't people assume you NEED two paid accounts and stop watching. If you have two paid accounts it is less hassle and faster.

There's a lot of gold making stuff on the patreon-other than leveling it is the main reason people sign up. People tend to say "er when is the next gold article" if I publish anything else.
He has some videos here too for fast run instances that can net you some raw gold, but you don’t want party sync or chromie time on for those. I think they were designed for under 1 hour.

Pet battles seem to give 3% pre level 50, and 1.6% xp post level 50 as of 9.2.5, might try the party sync thing, but there's nothing like being lazy AF and just mashing a hot key on a 2nd PC to level with pet battles.
It's all around ~4k xp per pet battle on my level 30 and up characters.
Amen to that. A guy on my patreon published a really ingenious 2- button simple strategy for that - it isn't any faster than leveling normally but it is so chill pressing 2 buttons and watching Netflix.
@@archvaldor The only spot I know of for it is in Vale, can use any 6 flying pets to mow everything down.
For older hardware they recently broke the client though and you have to go to the config can change the graphics api to "-d3d11legacy" if one wants to run it on some old laptop or tablet.
I would level from PvP, but blizzard completely broke it when they changed the heirloom trinkets, a loss only gives ~3%, with a win giving X4 of that. Non 60 PvP became a waste of time.

Doing this with a 44 prot pally. I've been around most of Frostfire Ridge and just got an achievement for doing 3 bonus objectives out here. That's all there was. Not sure how I'm supposed to hit 50 off this if there are only a few in each area.
You do it in the other zones, reset them do it again, then do it all again once daily or do the gorgrond questline. As I said in the video.

When i chose Dreanor i ended up in Ashran. And i dont have any flight masters unlocked in Dreanor so i cant get anywhere

Yes but the game knows and won't give you any xp the third time, at least until the daily reset. One of my patreons worked out an ingenious method to bypass this a few years back but it got fixed....pity you could dupe gold and xp with it.

Go spires of arak, the quests are great comparably to other zones imo. Don't know what Archvaldor means by overtuned..
By overtuned I mean the bonus objectives require you to kill significantly more things. There are several quests there which take 400% longer to complete than the easy Talador quest I mentioned. I agree the storyline in Spires is very good, one of the best in the game.
Any easy ways to level 50-60?

There are a number of videos in my channel archive which cover 50-60 I think most still work-mostly variations on killing rares. The method in this video may actually work as of tomorrow June as Blizzard seem be re-allowing psync from 50-60.

But why level fast? It just hastens the point where you have to slog through Shadowlands content. Or have they released the new expansion yet?
Seriously though it looks the fastest methods since they nerfed the full xp for the continuous re spawning Raven hatchlings (had to do before the garrison is built). I was sad to see that one go. Just tap your aoe ability key over and over while you watched a movie or something. Best method for raising clerics … rip
When was the raven hatchlings a thing Dan? I remember experimenting with those but it never seemed terribly fast...curious as to when or what I missed?
@@archvaldor it’s been awhile. I sent that to you through ownedcore under my gaming account email (this used to be my business email). I don’t recall exactly but it still worked during the beginning of BFA.
I only started fast leveling after they tied crafting to your and access to expansions so my priest characters i fast leveled. (When I first played I deleted characters when they hit Max level and started over - limited slots and no switching talent trees)
You had to use the portal from mop under the island to get there without doing the intro quest chain and I accidentally found the hatchlings gave full xp and respawned right away. It still worked after chromie time allowed you to start there at level ten. Which patch after that killed it I’m not sure but I think it was 9.1 shadowlands
BUT there was a glitch, if you killed them all at once the re spawn counter was like normal so you would make sure they didn’t all die at once. It wasn’t so much the fastest method just the easiest to semi afk.
@@archvaldor it wasn’t fast until chromie time. At that point it was fast for the low levels that skipped draenor intro quest. I used to do it with discipline priest alts to gain a quick dozen levels but there was no loot - it was just level crafting alts after they tied crafting to level - which as of when I quit the game it still had. For example you could chromie time to play legion content but some of the crafting recipes required you be the appropriate pre-chromie level to learn.
The ravens were never as good as the party sync rare mob method you had. I just learned this one on my own by accident. But they were one hit kill mobs that gave full xp for your level. And as long as you always had one alive the others respawned very fast. If you wiped all of them then the normal resplendent clock went into effect. So you had to locate against the embankment at the back of the nest so the aoe wouldn’t cover the entire area the spawned in. Once they respawned, some would fly in a small circle and they would enter the aoe range sporadically if you did this.
Before chromie time, it has diminishing returns as you would leve out of the content. With 9.0 though you could do it a long time

Honestly if you only have a few hours to play a week then a game like WoW isn't the game for you.
Perhaps...but that won't stop people trying. I try not to make stuff which is "This is what you SHOULD be doing", and more "This is what can help you do what you want...".
out of all MMO's WoW in its current state is probably the best if you don't have alot of time.
I paid a website $50 and they levelled it for me - I figured, if I can spend half an hours wages and get the result, that's probably the most meta way to level
You can do that the problem is that there is a non-zero risk of getting banned.
@@archvaldor Yeah I know man, but I work 7 days a week, a far cry from 10 years ago being unemployed being stoned every day and having unlimited time :P Money can get you anything these days, so the very limited time I have to play, I can just enjoy max level thanks to the sweatshops
