@@uglebeffus I did this to my friend we were on a school trip. We already watched so brought some dust and after the snap we disappeared. Some students were crying. I felt guilty
Ethan Morgan- There's actually a belief similar to this among Evangelicals, where people across the Earth will suddenly vanish. It's called "the Rapture." Except in that case, the people who disappear are taken up to Heaven, and those who remain are "Left Behind" and have to face the "Tribulation," which is a series of calamities like floods, plagues, earthquakes, etc. SO in that scenario, disappearing is actually a GOOD thing.
Willie McCoy I'm guessing it died (don't know if the ants can die or not so I could be very wrong) or it went into hiding or (not much of a spoiler but still) cassie took care of the ant when she grew up moved into the house in endgame
Maybe, but also consider that there is no definitive way of knowing EXACTLY how many seconds after the snap they disappeared since it was a little different for everyone. So whoever edited this together either did that for affect as there's no official time stamp to judge it by or it was coincidence.
Genuinely I think Endgame had one of the single greatest cold openings I've ever watched. I knew exactly what was happening as soon as it came on screen, I knew exactly what was going to happen, and they made it last long enough to hurt you.
@@OvSpP no shit his family was gonna die. It was kind of a given from the trailer. But I was expecting them to just do a really quick "they're gone" when they found him. That's what i was saying
Me before the movie: I am 100% sure we're going to get a Clint family dust scene at some point in the movie. Me realizing it's actually the first scene of Endgame: Ah shit, here we go.
It’s so interesting how wildly different in tone these movies are and yet every scene involving the snap always invokes the same feeling of emptiness, loss, and confusion
My scared moment was when Thanos snapped like, "Fuck, they almost had him. Now what happens?" Moments later: Sees everyone disappear and heroes go away.
Andrew Glinski It’s actually entirely possible! The location of Wakanda would likely place it in the same time zone as Nairobi, Kenya, which is 9 hours ahead of San Francisco. Assuming Infinity War takes place in summertime - supported by a very green Central Park early in the movie - it’s believable that close-to-the-equator Wakanda was still experiencing bright sunlight as late as 7 or 8 in the evening - mid-morning for San Francisco and lunchtime for a hungry family in Missouri.

Imagine being on Barton's perspective, he didn't know what happened they just disappear and he's the only one there and thunder rumbling. Imagine he didn't know what to do if call the police, look for people until he had to leave and led to the Avengers
He truly had it the worst, the avengers fighting Thanos all knew the risks and when it happened they knew they had lost, Antman was stuck for what felt like 5 hours so likely at most believed he had people outside working to fix something broken, Clint turned around to find his daughter missing, no explanation whatsoever, that means minutes of frantic searching, realising that his entire family has disappeared, calling the police only to find out they have no idea either, how many hours or days would it have taken for the avengers to broadcast what had happened, or at least get a message to Clint about what happened. No wonder he went on a murder rampage
@@LCaddyStudios I have a ques which I have been asking for years since I saw endgame if in the quantum realm it was 5 hours for Scott then shouldn't the 30 years Janet spent be 30 hours and if it's true she shouldn't be old in the movie

Aaron Montane well ant man didn’t witness the snap witch would be horrifying but he was in the quantum realm for 5 hours (for him) and by the second hour he probably thought he wouldn’t be able to get out of there
I think one of the most chilling parts is the most realistic. The "State of Emergency" siren wailing at the end of Ant Man & The Wasp is so genuinly chilling
I loved endgame so much, but i still like infinity wars ending a little more. The way thanos sits down in combination with the music. We rarely if not never get a movie ending with the villain winning.
Blaze 101 because it adds shock, emotion, confusion, and curiosity. Shock, would definitely effect long marvel fans, maybe even casual fans because of their heroes being dusted. They don’t know what happens. This one moment of shock causes emotion, emotion of their heroes. Confusion, because of the Villain winning. Curiosity, because this is only part one. If this is part one, then it adds build up to part 2. This is a train of emotion that effects the audience. Also, Thanos winning in part 1 makes sense
@Stranger Things it's a bold direction many films aren't willing to go. However, Marvel kinda screwed the whole scene up by confirming all the other movies the dusted characters were/are gonna get. It ruins the shock and horror of this scene cuz you know they're all coming back.
@@heroicaknight4735 even then going into infinity war knowing most of the characters had future movies and there was a part 2..... I still was shocked to see thanos actually win and kill half the universe and not even get punished for it
Xrixten right but the fact that he was in the quantum realm at the time of the snap, thereby imprisoning him for 5 years/hours, gave him the insight of the whole time travel concept which allowed the avengers to come up with their plan

I’ve always liked to think that the end of Infinity War (Thanos sitting down in his farm) happened at least a couple hours, if not a day, after he snapped since he was already pretty tarnished after the snap
Imagine what this was like for normal people who had no clue what was happening you wake go about your daily routine head down stairs are eating breakfast at the table then you look over & all of the sudden some of your Family starts turning to dust I don't know about you but I'd freak the fuck out I'd be thinking the Rapture happened & I got left behind.
Underrated comment; so many questions left unanswered: what happened to the people who were on a plane during the snap? What about people who remarried 3-4 years after the snap? What about the people who went insane watching people turn to dust in front of their eyes?
They really should have added a dusting scene in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. The last 5 episodes of season 5 take place during the events of Infinity War, but they only mention it in passing a couple times and then never referenced the snap AT ALL. It was hugely disappointing, and after some faulty time-travel logic throughout the fifth season, I've decided to stop watching the show.
Basically Thanos killed way more than half the universe. I mean: for every pilot he kills there die at least a couple hundred other people because of the following crash. The same thing would happen for every bus driver, every Train driver, and every car driver - there won't be as much casualties for those 3 as for the pilot but still. I think Thanos wiped out about 60% - 70% of the Universe (I mean Aliens have vehicles too right?).
Endangered species pretty much immediately go into a slow extinction due to losing breeding pairs and the protection of numbers. Thanos' math was way off, and as Endgame shows, he didn't really care.
It makes the snap so much more real to see all these different perspectives. People were just going about with their day, with their regular lives. They had no idea that their whole world was about to change, and then half the people were just gone

@@christosioannou9628 That's not neccesarily true. It moves slower, and faster, and the same speed, and everything else all at the same time. The rules of time and space get more stretched and weird the deeper in the Quantum Realm you go. The depth that Scott was at? Well 5 years in the normal world dilated to roughly 5 hours for him, so if we stuck with that math, assuming it's consistent wherever Scott Lang is in the Quantum Realm (And I will spoil you now, I'm pretty sure it's actually _not_ consistent), as Janet, Hank, and Hope experienced say, 2 minutes? Scott would've experienced .000228 minutes, which is absolutely impossible to have two way communication with, so my guess is that even where Scott is, the flow of time he's experiencing varies in speed, with the *_total_* amount of time experienced for Scott being roughly 5 hours. I thought about that when I saw the szene from wasp.

Maybe, but also consider that there is no definitive way of knowing EXACTLY how many seconds after the snap they disappeared since it was a little different for everyone. But now I realize that the sun was shining in Wakanda, Missouri, and San Francisco at the same time...
Nicholas Atanasio I guess your right. That would also fit in with the time band practice was taking place in New York City (Far From Home).

Talk about collateral damage 😵
Sianic12 Unless he planned on the pilots crashing into a hundred people
Maybe the 50% accounted for collateral deaths, since the infinity gauntlet seems to have its own power/knowledge

@@christosioannou9628
That's not neccesarily true. But of course, there's probabaly some fictional variables in the MCU that makes things a lot less complicated
Wario64I perhaps, but if the right people saw the right person turn to dust in front of their eyes, I would bet they would be quick on that shit.
