I somehow missed this video! This is awesome! I’ve never seen someone make Predator blades that look this good and actually work properly. I’ve usually seen ones that only extend a few inches and have very plain designs, but with how much these blades extend and how the blades only go a bit past the knuckles when closed, these are way better

There is no cheaper and more easily available material for crafting and model making than cardboard because lets face it, nothing is as cheap as free! Absolutely love your stuff, you're an inspiration!

Thank you Mokso! Haha I don't know about that but what is happening to my TH-cam channel at the moment is crazy! I make more than 1k subs a day lol I don't know if it will last but that's sick! I also made some AB testing with my thumbnails to make more realistic ones as you recommended it, and you were right it is helping significantly too! :)

Thank you SO MUCH for the tamplates, Raphael! I've just finished this morning, and it's AWESOME!!! But i have also found some issues on the templates. The templates said that the blades should be 0.5 cm thick, and to make 4 of them. But I then realised that the blades were too thick and I had to flatten them. But it worked in the end. Anyway, thank you, you are the best!!! :)

About the thickness of the blade, the thickness is the initial state of the cardboard I used, so it is correct but I indeed flattened before glueing them on top of each other, and I realised after uploading the tutorial that I had forgot to show that in the video, then it was too late, so it's totally my mistake. But I will correct that in the templates asap, thanks for the head's up.
I've always said to people that cardboard is such a useful thing to Have, that with just a bit of creativity you can make anything with it, I've been laughed at for that comment, thank you so much for proving my point

That’s really cool, I made both gauntlets, knee armor, shoulder armor and the belt armor all out of cardboard. I think it’s cool that you can use cardboard and other local items to make something so realistic and cool. I really love the work you do

Almost finished and pretty happy with how it is looking. Had some major issues with some things just not fitting though. Didn't realise the blades had to be flattened and other pieces. The trigger won't work on mine correctly as it catches on other parts of the build but it looks fabulous!
I know that the trigger mechanism is a bit tough to get right, that because cardboard i a very soft material... The trick is to make very tight rolls so that they are as hard as possible, that way the strings and elastics can perform correctly, without catching on other parts when you trigger it! 😉

My mind is absolutely blown 🤯. Not only with many previous props have you made them accurate and functional, but this has full on movement! 👏 👏 👏 👏 Oh and just as a suggestion, I was thinking for the next prop to possibly link to the dark knight movies or possibly Jurassic Park? I was thinking Batman's armour or cowl or The Jurassic Park Gates! I think that would be awesome. Just like many of your previous props! Amazing job as all ways!👍
