Best of luck in nursing school; you're going to do great things! Keep up the amazing work, and remember, you've got this! 🌟❤️
Math was my weakest subject the first time I took the TEAS, but after watching this video and then taking the TEAS right after (I literally only watched this video, and paused to do the practice questions before she’d say the answers), I ended up getting 97%! Math was my second highest scored subject this time around! Thank you so much for the extremely helpful guide Nurse Cheung 🤗
That's incredible progress! Scoring a 97% in math after focusing on the video shows how effective your preparation was. Well done! It’s really heartening to hear how much the guide helped boost your confidence and performance. Keep up the fantastic work, and thanks for sharing your success! 🎉👍

Thank you very much for your vedio. Your teaching method is very easy to understand, and I am learning a lot. When we solve the equation to leave the x by itself, when do we add or divide ?
You will save solving x for last. Depending on the equation, you will either divide, multiply, add or subtract. We have a Math live coming up on Tuesday. I would recommend joining to help answer these types of questions in real time.
I highly recommend trying to understand the concepts behind why each equations and conversion is set up the way they are. That has helped many in the past instead of trying to memorize everything.
Hello, thank you for making the TEAS Math study guide. I understand the material better now than I did before. I have a question, which website is a good site to take a practice test for each section?
If you're aiming for a composite score of 60 or higher, you would need to average at least 60% across all sections. However, some sections might be weighted more heavily depending on the school's criteria, so it's a good idea to score as high as possible in each section. It's important to check with the specific program for their scoring requirements to better understand how your scores will be evaluated.
The PowerPoint slides are not included in the Tier 3 membership, but there are lots of other resources and benefits available to you as a Tier 3 member. You can access detailed videos, get early access to content, and receive discounts in the Nurse Cheung store. If you're looking for specific materials or need further guidance on accessing your benefits, feel free to ask!
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that you find the videos helpful. I appreciate your suggestion about providing a more detailed breakdown when equations change during the problem-solving process. In the meantime, there are also many other resources and videos available online that might offer different approaches to explaining these concepts. Exploring a variety of teaching styles can often help clarify tricky subjects even further. Thanks again for watching and for your constructive feedback!
It's great to hear you're tackling the challenge of the TEAS test after being out of school for over 20 years! Getting back into the rhythm of studying and taking exams can be tough, but it's definitely possible to improve your score with some focused preparation. With only one week until your retake, the best approach would be to concentrate on the areas where you can make the most significant improvements quickly. Review the sections where you scored the lowest to identify key concepts and topics you might have missed or need to reinforce. Practice questions are also incredibly beneficial as they help you get accustomed to the format and type of questions you'll face. Also, don’t underestimate the power of practice under timed conditions to help improve your time management skills during the test. Even a small increase in your familiarity with the test format and question styles can make a big difference. Keep your motivation up! A week can be enough to see improvement if you use your study time efficiently. Good luck with your studying and on your upcoming test!
In the question, it asked what is the probability that both marbles drawn will be RED. That indicated that the question wants you to find out the probability (chances) that red marble was taken out in both times.
Sure! When you see an expression like 4 raised to the power of 2, it means you multiply the number 4 by itself once. So, 4 raised to the power of 2 is equivalent to 4×4, which equals 16. This is a basic operation in mathematics known as exponentiation, where the number 4 is the base and 2 is the exponent, indicating how many times the base is used as a factor in the multiplication.

Hi Nurse Cheung, Do you have a video like this for the science section? Im taking my Teas on June 12, 2024. Thanks
I do. I have Chemistry and Biology both completed. They are listed for our Tier 3 Members while they are waiting to post to everyone.
I’m taking my teas soon, the only thing I find troubling is remembering all the formulas or conversions they may ask for. Any tips for remembering? :)
I highly recommend trying to understand the concepts behind why each equations and conversion is set up the way they are. That has helped many in the past instead of trying to memorize everything.
Hi nurse Cheung, since your english playlist videos are from 3 years ago, will it still help us since the teas this year is version 7?
Hi Rommx. Yes the videos from 2022 will still help with version 7 English. I have new English videos on my channel as well for Tier 3 members.
Hello, thank you for making the TEAS Math study guide. I understand the material better now than I did before. I have a question, which website is a good site to take a practice test for each section?
Hi Claudia. Great question. ATI TEAS has great resources on practice tests.
Will this help if i am applying to my schools Radiology tech program, not just nursing? I have to take the teas test!
Depends on your program. Some use TEAS while others use a different test like HESI or NET. I would recommend reaching out to the school.
Taking the teas in two weeks- If I watch the complete guide for all subjects is it necessary to watch each subsection video as well? thanks!
Great question Veronica. You will not need to watch the subsection videos if you watch the complete guide.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome

If you're aiming for a composite score of 60 or higher, you would need to average at least 60% across all sections.
