Nicely done! Fellow southern Ontarian here, you did a very nice job describing our holidays and Remembrance Day. Your diys were simple and very effective.
Hi Nathali, I put my lights after remembrance day.and to avoid the cold snaps and freezing cold. My husband dont do any decorations so I do my best to put up my lights ahead of time after 11:11. But we also cut a fresh tree so our tree is gonna be a little later too.i do make also my own winter pots like yours to cut down coz.😅yours looks gorgeous.
Thank you! And Craig likes to put his lights up when it's still warm out, too, and then we wait to turn them on. But this year, he's been so busy that they're still not up!
Very nice Natalie. I'm going to do your door decoration. Awoke to snow on the ground this morning on the 6th concession but known as the 1st Line. We recently came back from a holiday in Viginia beach, warm sunshine, beautiful, 4th time there. We love having our morning coffee while watching the dolphins swim by. Going to chop our Christmas tree with family on Sunday Dec 1st. It's a forever tradition and great fun with the kids and now grandkids throwing snow balls. Sometimes there's snow and sometimes not but always a good time. After such a rainy year, the tree will be well watered and will still be holding it's needles when we take it down Jan 2. Thanks for the ideas. PS: what do you do with all your eggs?
Yes, we had snow her on the 8th Concession, too. It's mostly gone now, but a good reminder to get everything done outside that needs to get done. Nice to get a break with some warm weather and sunshine. :) We'll get our tree early December, too. It has turned into a family event even though they all have artificial trees. I think it has more to do with me making spring rolls (about 200) for everyone. LOL We have pretty good luck keeping our trees fresh until after New Years as well. As for our eggs, we eat a lot of them but then sell the excess to friends and family.
WOW, spring rolls. We need a video. I've never made them but love getting them with a Chinese takeout. Three of my 4 kids go for real trees. The one son went with what his wife wanted. Who can argue with that! I don't have chickens right now but we just had 10 and sometimes I had quite a few eggs in my fridge. Tried selling at the road but not much interest surprisingly for pretty much free range chickens. They always found homes 😊.
Very pretty Natalie 😊❤
Thank you! It was nice to use things around the property. Mother Nature knows best!
Love your decorating ideas! Simple, pure, and so in tune with the true meaning of the season.
Thank you so much!
Nice job, Natalie!
Thank you! I'm trying to get in the Christmas spirit, but our weather is so unseasonably warm right now, that it feels more like spring than winter!

Thank you! I'm finding it hard to feel "Christmas-y" yet with our temps so warm but it helps to see some greenery and bows. :)
