This was a 14 day cruise departing Reykjavik, Iceland with 3 port calls in Greenland and stopping in Newfoundland, Quebec and terminating in Montreal. We now tested negative for Covid and feeling very well, just a lingering cough!
I test negative on Day 11 with Day 0 being the first day of symptoms. I also tested negative again on Day 13. Like you, I still have a minor dry cough.
Glad y’all are feeling much better! Beautiful pics/vid shots y’all made! Not sure we’ll do cruising again ourselves. We avoided Covid til we got it from our first cruise venturing out after almost 3 yrs of staying in. At least now maybe we have some immunity from having had it! Start planning your next trip!! We’ll be watching! 👍🏻🤩
What a sin. Paying so much and missing some of it. Goes with the territory these days unfortunately. It’s even worse when you travel alone like me. Lol. However I’m glad you enjoyed most of it.
The main thing is that you both got home safe and sound with the exception of Covid but that will pass eventually. Stay safe. Thank you for all your videos. Greatly appreciated.
I really enjoyed this so-honest video. I was worried at first that it might be just a commercial after a freebie holiday - but that certainly wasn't the case. It was very well balanced. Norm is often good for a sharp punch line in these videos. This time, for me, it came at 20:51 " I don't want to go on another cruise ship...because the other passengers are not playing the game." So true - so often when we travel, regardless of management's best efforts, so much depends on the quality of our fellow travellers. I like how it was revealed that Norm and Tina sometimes differ in their likes and dislikes. Bur, marriage is a compromise, eh ? I say this as a husband recently returned from a two-day shopping trip to Michigan. I would have preferred to stay home to clean bathrooms and scrub floors for that time, but sometimes you just have to go !
Thank you for your condor, we can appreciate your experience, as we just came off a 7 day cruise Canada/. New England out of Boston. After just 3 days on the ship ( 2, 500 people) , we both came down w/ Covid. Like yourselves, we have not been ill since the pandemic started in Mar 2020. After a week, we are still struggling w/ waves of symptoms although not bed ridden. We too would think twice about taking a cruise in the near future. Love hearing about your experience on this smaller ship. Thanks for sharing..
We are feeling a lot better now Jasmine we have been home two weeks , so sorry you also caught it after we had all been so careful . We hope you feel better soon ❤️🩹take care 🚢🍁🥂
Glad to hear you enjoyed Quebec City. Last December my husband and I had reservations for the Château Frontenac, however we got COVID-19 and had to cancel. Seeing your picture there has rekindled my desire to try and make that trip again. So glad to see you are on the mend Tina and Norm. Love your videos.
Sorry you had to cancel Diane Quebec City is lovely and We are sure it would be nice to stay at the Château Frontenac hope you manage to rebook Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
What a nice video. Almost like sitting with you in person and having a conversation. Sorry you had to deal with sickness while on your bucket list cruise. If you had to be sick, it was great that you had such luxurious surroundings in which to isolate, along with room service. We're leaving in a week for a cruise to Canada and New England. Hoping we stay healthy.
We wish you a great cruise ( just as a precaution take Tylenol and Advil , cough drops and Syrup and a Covid test kit ) have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢😎🥂🍁
Thanks guys much appreciated. So sorry you got sick. That was our fear about cruising. Prior to Covid we loved to cruise. We finally bit the bullet and took a 12 day cruise on Carnival Pride to Iceland in August. Covid did not cross our minds until day 17, the last day of our trip. We felt a little under the weather on the way home. We tested negative after a day so but tested positive around the third day home. I think it’s rampant on every ship now but no one seems to bring it up anymore. Prior to departing Mid August it was as if Covid was a thing of the past. Even my 84 year old mom caught it for the first time about a week after we got home and she lives 672 km from us. She got very sick but is on the mend since we arrived to visit her last week. Hope your back 100 per cent soon. All the best and keep up the great work.
Hi Tina and Norm, so sorry to hear you both got sick. I have just completed a 10 day cruise through the Greek Islands on Celebrity Reflection with my 81 year old mother. There were over 2,500 passengers and crew on the boat. Prior to this we flew from New Zealand and did 4 weeks in Spain and France. We are now currently on a small cruise ship in Croatia 37 passengers. We have had no illness, so I do think it was just very bad luck you caught Covid. Norm don’t be put off and take Tina on another cruise, it’s a great way to travel and quite luxurious. Love watching your videos, thank you.
That’s great Karen we are so glad you and your mother haven’t got sick , personally it was very frightening to have caught Covid and been in the middle of the ocean 🌊 obviously luck wasn’t on our side . Enjoy and take care on your cruise 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
And here I am reading this post and thinking, FANTASTIC, way to go Mom!! My mom passed 22 years ago and I wish she was still here because I would’ve loved to take her on vacations like this and she would’ve loved every minute of them too! You’re a good daughter and I love that you’re looking after your mother so well.
Thanks for an honest assessment of this smaller cruise; I've often wondered if they were better than the large ones. I didn't find your review negative at all, just honest. We've only been on 2 cruises & I do get motion sickness (hubby doesn't). I was very germ-conscious on both cruises, large ones, and we did not get sick. Glad you are both home safe & on the mend.
So sorry to hear you got sick. Yes, those who know they are sick should stay away.. I do love to cruise but have been afraid to since Covid. Maybe again soon. I do hope you got well enough to enjoy sometime out of you room. Thank you for your honest updates.
Thanks again guys for a great video! We used to cruise in the 90s and then in 1995 I got norovirus on a cruise. I have never been so sick in my life. Swore off cruises but did one last one in 2007 to Alaska which was great but vowed it to be my last. My wife and I are finally traveling international again after 3 years and going to Ireland next week. We started looking at European River cruises for 2024 but the expense is insane. Your video here affirms how expensive cruising is and with you two both getting sick within days, that's enough for me to say never again. Glad you're both on the mend!
Thanks Mike we hope you have a wonderful time in Ireland 🇮🇪, funny we were looking at going there till we saw this cruise 🚢 as you say when you have been sick on a cruise it puts you right off have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🇮🇪🙂
So glad you had a lovely visit to Greenland and Montreal, so sorry you ended up with Covid. Thank goodness you took one of the Covid tests with you! Hope you both get better soon!
You’re very calm about this experience and it’s a situation where you really were thoughtful about the post Covid realities . I think unfortunately despite the real risks to health existing out there many people have written off any caution. In fact we have to protect ourselves because avoiding inconvenience and denial are behaviors a lot of people are going to exhibit during travel.
Hey 👋 Norm & Tina! Glad you’re feeling better and were able to enjoy many aspects of your cruise. I’m glad you shared your experience with hurricane Lee, and covid. It was not ‘negative’ at all to express your thoughts. I view it as a positive to be prepared for the future. Thanks!
So sorry you got sick on your cruise guys. Glad you are on the mend. Thanks for your honest review of the cruise. Between motion sickness problems and risk of other illnesses, cruising is too risky for me. Hubby and I just got back from a road trip and will be sticking to those in the near future. Take care of yourselves.🇺🇸😊🇨🇦☕️
Road trips 🚗 are great Cherry that’s what we were doing till we took a cruise 🚢 but we have to keep living so trying to find a happy medium Take care Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🌺🍷
I'm really sorry that you got sick! We just returned from our 5 months in Britain. Once again, I got sick! This is the 3rd time in 3 years of spending the summer in the UK and coming back to Texas and immediately getting ill. No fun!!! Thanks for sharing your experience... you both look great in the video! Cheers! XX Dara
Thanks Dara so sorry to hear you are sick too , we have heard that Covid is huge in the UK 🇬🇧 hope you don’t have that . Have a great week and take care get well soon 🇺🇸🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
So sorry you were sick on your cruise and thankful you are recovering. I’m not sure I’ll ever get my husband back on a cruise ship, but I appreciate your review.
Sorry to hear you were so sick on the cruise. As mentioned before (previous videos) I am not too crazy about cruises. Give land and I will be a happy puppy! I do agree with Norm. The only trip I took (my arm was twisted ) was over ten years ago in one of the Disney's cruise ship that left cape Canaveral to some Islands near Florida. The food was delicious and plenty. No restrictions on what to eat. Our dinner partners were cattle ranchers from Montana so the husband would have two steak dinners per night. The ship was extremely clean as you would see the cleaning crew all day doing what they do best. The swimming pool was great with party every night with fireworks over the water. The only thing that was unusual was that there were too many children. Which is expected. I am happy that you are feeling better. Double Cheers. 🍷🍷
What a shame re covid but glad you stayed positive, enough at least to make the best of it. I do get motion sick so that stresses me out a bit but we love the shows and we also enjoy the casino. I listen to a couple of regular cruise bloggers and they usually always report there are a number of covid cases so I think its still very much the 'norm' but not highlighted. This beautiful warm weather will cheer you up and so glad your both on the mend. ❤
We agree Fay it’s there but just not talked about , yes this weather is lovely we have to go and close up the trailer so it will be a nice drive take care 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🌺🍷
We were in the jewel of the sea started from Amsterdam to iceland, greenland, new foundland end in new jersey 3 weeks ago. Only a few people have cold and others were very healthy so the trip was a good one. Sorry to hear that you had sick
I’m so sorry you were sick. I have been tempted to cruise again but you remind me that, at this time, it is not worth it. There are so many other ways to see the world.
Greenland sounds so interesting.. I’m jealous of you two! So sorry to hear you got sick! It is shocking the indifference of others to illness. Pandemic has taught nothing!! Frustrating! But hopefully you both will bounce back quickly. I hope you take plenty of time to rest! Now we need a video of travel pictures 🎉😍..I love other peoples vacations😄 Take care of yourselves!
So sorry to hear that you got sick and all the other issues on your cruise, especially after paying such a high price!! And nice to see that you still remain positive and talk about the positives!
Oh dear - so sorry to hear about your illness. Not nice when people board knowing that they are unwell. Glad you are home and on the mend. Thanks so much for the review - I was very interested in the smaller ship cruising style.
You both look very refreshed. How awesome. What an interesting choice of a cruise 🛳. I love the Mediterranean only...lol 😊. I will go again soon. That bathroom looks better than mine. 😮
There's been an uptick on Covid-19 cases and it's running rampant on cruise ships. Who in their right mind would want to cruise having to wear a mask 24/7 and the fear of people coughing and sneezing all the time. The fear of catching Covid-19 would drive anyone nuts. I'll stay home and watch Scotty grow thank you.
it's still hit and miss though. We have friends who have been on three cruises this year. First they caught nothing. Second they both caught covid towards the end. One had already had covid last year, but not her husband. Third cruise, end of August this year, they went with another couple and none of them got covid despite long haul (24 hour) flights either side of the cruise. All four have had covid before, two recently and two over a year ago.
This vlog confirms that I will never take a cruise. Much rather organize a trip on my own than paying $8000 Canadian for a floating hotel. Thanks for sharing!❤
We also love to plan ourselves Sandra but to see Greenland 🇬🇱 you can only fly from Reykjavik or Copenhagen and the internal flights are very expensive so actually we thought the cruise 🚢 was a great way to see such a wonderful and unique place Cheers 🚢😎🥂🍁
Thank you so much for this report with the relevant information - especially the Covid update and overall comments on the state of health awareness by the company and fellow travelers. We are just starting to venture out on driving excursions but being very careful to avoid being sick. Haven’t been sick at all in 3 years. Your report helps us to make the best choices for ourselves and our situation.❤
Wow what a bummer Tina and Norm ! I am the one that would love to go on one of those big ships but my husband is not interested!! But now that I hear this ! Our friends when’d with a group of six and all of them got Covid ! So maybe husband has a point ! Happy you two made it and you both are back to feeling better ! Thank you for the information !
Thank you for being so candid and truthful about your experience cruising. I can always trust your reviews. A friend of mine just returned from a Mediterranean cruise where half of her travel group came down with Covid. It really is off putting for me. I would still like to go on an Alaskan cruise one day. It’s on my bucket list!
Poor you - and after all the previous precautions you had taken. We've had COVID - no real cough but high fever. Hope you are getting better. All best wishes
Thanks for being so candid. We haven't had covid yet, and don't want it, so as lovely as the ship and staff looked, we humans are the deciding factor for us. Too bad some people are so inconsiderate. On the plus side, you saw some spectacular sites which you'll always have in your memories. Thanks for sharing ♥️
To be honest, I've never been on a cruise and your experience enforces my thought of never going on one. I got sick in a long overseas flight recently by sitting next to a coughing person, no masks for most. Was anyone wearing a mask? Too bad that happened but sounds like you made the best of it. Thanks for your honesty.
Hi guys! Bet it felt good to start moving again! Its been a long while since you two have sailed! I enjoy the heck out of your videos! Your very fortunate Norm! Tina really cares for you! We see it in every video you nake. Tina is always admiring you. Just watch what she dies when you are speaking. She is intently watching you and it shows she cares for you deerly! Im sure the feelings are mutual. Take care and keep on sailing!
We are very fortunate to have a great relationship with each other David, it felt wonderful to be back cruising till we got sick hope you have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Great that you are on the mend! That is really too bad that you got covid after being so careful about it for the last 3 years. We just came back from a bus tour from Ottawa to crowded NYC and was pleasantly suprised that we didn’t get covid. I love how you get in depth about your travels and make us better informed. Thank you!
Oh wow! I’m so sorry the sickness ruined few days on your cruise. But I’m glad you feel better now. Thanks for the video and for your openness to share your experience. Stay well you two.
Love your honesty, totally agree with you about cruise ships being an incubator for illness. We’ve just done a Viking river cruise from Avignon to Lyon, seven days. 190 passengers. As the week progressed there were obviously cases of COVID on board. Out of 6 of the people we mostly had lunch and dinner with, I was the only one who didn’t get it, and my husband’s symptoms were no more than a cold for a couple of days. Viking and obviously most cruise companies don’t want to know. It would affect business, they just told people there are no rules, no need to isolate. I’m a nurse, and I don’t think it’s too much to ask that you wear a mask for the protection of fellow travellers. Not holding much hope others agree but long COVID is real and I would rather not get it. Nothing worse than being sick on holiday, even if it’s not COVID, flu can be more debilitating or food poisoning.
So sorry Louise that your hubby was sick , we have had a lot of our viewers all saying that they have caught Covid on both big cruises and river cruises 🚢 so we are not sure what the answer is , over than we won’t be doing anymore anytime soon Cheers 🚢🥂🍁🇨🇦🇮🇸
Totally agree! People just should be considerate of others, especially if you have it. Your still contagious even if you don’t feel bad whether it’s Covid or another virus!
Love the videos! Thanks so much. Hate to say, I cruised one time and that was enough for me, lol. Take care of yourselves. They say to rest for a few weeks afterwards. Don’t rush to exercise.
Sooo sorry you were sick, but grateful for sharing your story. My husband and I are booked for a river cruise in April. People are letting their guard down, makes our plans a little scary. Thanks so much for sharing your adventure!
I am really sorry you both fell ill. I hope you are both feeling better and make a full recovery. Good on you for making the video when not 100%. Covid is out there sadly xx
Wow if you can afford Windstar you're in the BIGBUCKS! I'm going to the Marqguesas Islands New Zealand Australia 32 days, all inclusive, everything you had. Same price. Twice as long. Small ship but you were crammed
Boy, Norm, and Tina, I am so sorry that you got sick on your cruise. One of my friends went on a cruise recently to Alaska and got covid also. It was a bigger cruise ship. I think your right people are getting sick and not staying home. Pretty selfish. I am glad you made the best of it, and your review was very informative. You guys are just the greatest. Thank you again for your wonderful videos.
Hello Tina & Norm, I think Cruise Ships are not the only risky modes of transportation to catch COVID. We flew to Spain arrived here on 27th and I immediately started feeling sick with exactly the same symptoms as you. Extreme throat pain last night. Today, I took COVID test which came out positive. The urgent care doctors here don't consider Diabetic/Heart patients as risky and they refused to prescribe anti viral medicine. You are lucky you have it behind you- almost!
Hi Norm and Tina, we always enjoy your videos. We were sorry to hear you had covid and the impact on your travel time. However you still look refreshed from the time away and love the travel pics on Iceland and your comments on what you liked and disliked about the cruise. We also like your channel pic, as we can see from the day trip it was a home town of ours. . We moved south of you and have the same travel experiences you have in the area. Hope you staying safe and keeping well, bye, bye!!
Hello Tina & Norm! Glad you’re on the mend. Thanks for all of your wonderful videos! I always look forward to me Tina & Norm fix, as I hope to retire in 2024. Cheers!
We are approaching our retirement and I enjoy your posts so much. I can't imagine your disappointment / frustration with having gotten covid after the care you've taken the past 3+ years. We are hoping the best for you and certainly want to see you both recover quickly.
Thanks for your candid review. We were ready to try cruising right before Covid hit. Hubby now has reservations about cruises and perhaps it’s better to wait a bit longer. We really had wanted to do the Alaska cruise. Maybe for now we should just fly to Iceland and check it out.
We have done an Alaska cruise 🚢 and it was wonderful ( before the Pandemic) Iceland 🇮🇸 is a wonderful but expensive place to visit . You can get deals of flights hotels etc we did one a few years ago and loved it Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦
Hi Tina and Norm, first my happy you are well. Sorry you got sick in the cruise… honestly I would be very upset to spend so much money to get sick after 3 days. Wishing you all the best, thank you for a great video! Stay well
Glad to hear you are feeling better now! Thanks again for another great video. We currently prefer the 2-3,000 size cruises (HAL and Celebrity). I think 300 with little entertainment and less stabilisation would be too much for us.
My son was traveling in Iceland. He brought wonderful videos and photos from there. Glaciers, a thermal lake, waterfalls - it all looked like fantastic alien landscapes, especially glaciers and coastal icebergs. He was in Iceland in July 2019, but even in July he took a warm jacket with him, which he had to wear. He was on a round trip plane from Toronto. Unfortunately, people can become infected on an airplane.
Unfortunately our resistance to things like the common cold has diminished due to the pandemic isolation so we should expect that we will catch illnesses quicker. Also, you may have caught the bug in an airport, airplane or even your pre-cruise hotel…anywhere! I’m glad you still enjoyed it the best you could. Thanks for the tips. I don’t think small ship cruises will be my cup of tea.
Thank you . Good info. We are weighing our options and the more we look a cruises the less we are interested. What you get for the money vs what you can do traveling on own own.
We still think cruising is a great way to see a lot on a budget, we do love the concept, but the risk is getting sick, even with that we had a great time.
Thanks for sharing your review of this cruise. Sorry to hear you both got sick. My husband and I did a cruise on Holland America last spring in Europe, and found the same thing with people coughing. We got COVID as well, but we didn’t feel too bad. We have decided not to cruise again for awhile.
Thanks for the vlogs on this. This latest round of covid isn’t pleasant. We’ve just got over it. Our parents recently caught it on a Rhine river cruise and we’re confined to cabin for several days. An even smaller boat!! Like you say a lot of passengers are still going on holiday even if they are ill.
Just watching back this video. I have cruised in March 2024, Celebrity Apex, and just now on Holland America Volendam and have caught covid on both. I feel it's just a given now. Covid isn't going away any time soon. Michigan and Ontario are having a huge breakout right now.
What a lovely trip. Your room and the restaurants were beautifully decorated with plenty of space. See you're living the life of royalty. Thank you for your honest report. Sorry you both got sick. Trust you both are recovering. I've never been on a cruise; I keep going back to Ireland where there's never a dull moment. Carry on!
Oh boy! We are packing to head out on a Viking ocean cruise of 900 passengers. We have been traveling since Covid on the smaller Viking river ships. We did France in 2021, SE Asia in 2022 and Portugal/Spain earlier this year. Viking we felt did a good job of keeping things clean and healthy. This is a good reminder to us to be vigilant. Sorry you had to get covid on your cruise.
We hope you have a great time Joan where are you going 🤔just in case we suggest taking Covid test kits, Tylenol, Advil and cough drops and syrup as a precaution and self medicate if you don’t feel well Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🍻
Hi Norm and Tina - love your videos! Did you notice in the background of your picture of the ocean swell that there is a rainbow?! Great picture! Sorry you got sick but glad to see you both are back home safe and sound 😊
I'm so sorry you got sick on the cruise -- same thing happened to us in 2022. I'm with Norm about staying off of cruises at least for awhile -- you just can't trust the other passengers. Really enjoy your videos!
Wishing you both a speedy recovery from Winnipeg. You are still the cutest couple ever! Thank you for your ETIAS show. And thank you so much Teen for pronouncing it, on for scone not cone for scone. I wouldn’t mind a sailing cruise sometime that looked nice, but probably more expensive than your cruise. Good for you for getting a good deal. I went to Tenerife and stayed at a hotel last Christmas and most people were coughing and hacking and did not get sick. Make sure you keep up with your vitamin D. You need more in the winter months and more than a multivitamin can give you. Take care Rosanne Mary
We hear you Ben we thought we could handle giving it a go , we have friends that have done 5 cruises 🚢 this year and haven’t caught anything . We won’t be cruising anytime soon Have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇮🇸🚢🇨🇦🍷🍻
So sorry to learn that you both became ill. Thank you for your feedback on the small boat cruise. I appreciate the objectivity that you provided. By the way, I was surprised that your crew didn't inform you of the Port Tours, considering that there were so few passengers on board. Traveling on a small ship would imply better personalized services and advice.
That is surprising to hear neither one of you have gotten sick during the pandemic. It's not fun at all to get sick anytime let alone when you are on a holiday. I know when I had it I slept quite a bit. It knocks you down for sure. On the flip side both of you have a nice bunch of antibodies now in your body helping to prevent you from getting sick again. Wishing you all the best.
We stayed home and took lots of precautions that’s why we didn’t get sick , we do realize that now we have antibodies which guess is a plus LOL 😂Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
I've only been on one cruise, and it was to Alaska, and we had 12 foot swells, and at least half of us were sick. The things you wear on your wrist helped me. I also caught Covid. This was September 2021. There were tons of precautions being taken against the virus, but it didnt matter. So i just dont think it was the fault of the ship. Sorry you got sick, tho!
For the money sounds like it wasn’t all that great. Sorry you two got sick . Very expensive, but I haven’t been on a cruise in years . I’m sure prices have risen. Sounds like you had some good days . Get well soon ❤smart town USA 🇺🇸
Sorry you got sick during your first cruise after keeping safe for such a long time. Wifey and I are still a bit paranoid about cruises but we have taken a few flights to Panama (both of us finally obtained the permanent residency there) and so far so good...😎👍
Hi Tina& Norm good to see you again and another great informative video I think we are going to have to put up with Covid for some time 😢but I’m pleased you are both ok Jan and I are of to Spain soon so I will look forward to more of your videos Take care of yourself Regards. Christopher Barker

This was a 14 day cruise departing Reykjavik, Iceland with 3 port calls in Greenland and stopping in Newfoundland, Quebec and terminating in Montreal. We now tested negative for Covid and feeling very well, just a lingering cough!
That isn't a bad price for 14 days.
I test negative on Day 11 with Day 0 being the first day of symptoms. I also tested negative again on Day 13. Like you, I still have a minor dry cough.
@@mereniecrosby7120 Lot of money to get sick and be stuck in a cabin.........................................
Glad y’all are feeling much better! Beautiful pics/vid shots y’all made! Not sure we’ll do cruising again ourselves. I really enjoyed this so-honest video. I was worried at first that it might be just a commercial after a freebie holiday - but that certainly wasn't the case. It was very well balanced. Thanks so much Steve, we don’t get freebies on travel, so our comments are what we experience and on our dime. We appreciate your comment greatly.
Hope your back 100 per cent soon. All the best and keep up the great work.
So sorry you caught Covid Todd, we agree the cruise companies think it no longer exists have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
With your 81 year old mother? How irresponsible is that? Shaking my head here.

My mom passed 22 years ago and I wish she was still here because I would’ve loved to take her on vacations like this and she would’ve loved every minute of them too! You’re a good daughter and I love that you’re looking after your mother so well.
@@missbiggs9437 Thank you SO much!!
Appreciate your honesty. You two should have been speakers about your channel!🥰
Thanks Julie!
Thanks Candy, we are glad you had a good cruise experience.
Thank you for being so thorough in you discussion and review of your experience. $17,000 for the experience is frustrating. Hugs to you both! 🤗
Your very welcome glad you enjoyed it Rusty have a great weekend Cheers 🇮🇸🙂🚢🇨🇦🍻
@@ThisIsOurRetirement Thanks! 🌸🌻😃🛳🇨🇦🍁 Have a wonderful weekend you 2 as well!
So sorry to hear you got sick. Yes, those who know they are sick should stay away.. I do love to cruise but have been afraid to since Covid. Maybe again soon. I do hope you got well enough to enjoy sometime out of you room. Thank you for your honest updates.
Your welcome we still did manage to enjoy some of the trip despite getting sick Cindi Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂🌺
Greetings Norm & Tina. You both look ice cool....LOL... Many Thanks for your wonderful contents...!!!!
Our pleasure! glad you enjoy them Terry Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
So glad you had a lovely visit to Greenland and Montreal, so sorry you ended up with Covid. Thank goodness you took one of the Covid tests with you! Hope you both get better soon!
We are feeling a lot better Christine we have been two weeks now , have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢😎🥂🍁
Thanks!
Thanks so much , we hope you both are feeling better , we just have the coughs left we won’t be cruising anytime soon in the future Eric Cheers 🇺🇸🚢🇨🇦🍻
Stay SAFE and warm! ❤
@@ThisIsOurRetirement speedy recovery to you as well!
So sorry you were sick on your cruise and thankful you are recovering. I’m not sure I’ll ever get my husband back on a cruise ship, but I appreciate your review.
We are feeling a lot better Patsy thank you and we too won’t be cruising anytime soon Cheers 🥂🍁🙂
Glad you enjoyed the trip, but sorry you were ill. Thank you for the information.😊
Your welcome thanks for watching Alan have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇮🇸🚢🇨🇦🍷🍻
Thanks so much Tony glad you enjoyed your one and only cruise 🚢 LOL 😂Cheers 🚢😎🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦
That was great for you, maybe a larger ship is better!
Glad to hear you’re getting better! Take good care ❤
Thank you! 🥂🍁🦃
I’m so sorry you were sick. I have been tempted to cruise again but you remind me that, at this time, it is not worth it. There are so many other ways to see the world.
Thanks Jody we won’t be cruising anytime soon Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Very honest review. You didnt sugar coat your adventure. Very helpful advice. Keep it up. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I'm so sorry. Praying for your total health restoration. Take good care guys! THX for sharing
Thank you 🌺
Greenland sounds so interesting.. I’m jealous of you two!
So sorry to hear you got sick! It is shocking the indifference of others to illness. Pandemic has taught nothing!! Frustrating!
But hopefully you both will bounce back quickly. I hope you take plenty of time to rest!
Now we need a video of travel pictures 🎉😍..I love other peoples vacations😄
Take care of yourselves!
Greenland 🇬🇱 was beautiful true Pandemic has taught nothing Barb Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂🍻
So sorry to hear that you got sick and all the other issues on your cruise, especially after paying such a high price!! And nice to see that you still remain positive and talk about the positives!
Thanks so much 🥂🍁😎
Oh dear - so sorry to hear about your illness. Not nice when people board knowing that they are unwell. Glad you are home and on the mend. Thanks so much for the review - I was very interested in the smaller ship cruising style.
Glad you enjoyed it Jo have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
You both look very refreshed. How awesome. What an interesting choice of a cruise 🛳. I love the Mediterranean only...lol 😊. I will go again soon. That bathroom looks better than mine. 😮
Thanks so much! 😊 it was a great itinerary the bathrooms were lovely Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🍻
Thank you for sharing, sounds like a wonderful adventure. Sorry you got sick and wishing you better health.
Thanks so much 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🌺
There's been an uptick on Covid-19 cases and it's running rampant on cruise ships. Who in their right mind would want to cruise having to wear a mask 24/7 and the fear of people coughing and sneezing all the time. The fear of catching Covid-19 would drive anyone nuts. I'll stay home and watch Scotty grow thank you.
Thanks for sharing Lucy it now does seem that Covid is taking over on cruise 🚢 ships have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🌺
love that song.......Lucy!
it's still hit and miss though.
Your welcome we too have hardly travelled in the last 3 years , good luck with your driving excursions Cheers 🚢🙂🍷
Thanks for watching and maybe hubby is right ! have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Our pleasure! glad you enjoy our videos Kristin have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🙂🇨🇦
Poor you - and after all the previous precautions you had taken. We've had COVID - no real cough but high fever. Hope you are getting better. All best wishes
Thank you so much Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🌺
Stick with Holland!!!! I have been on 4 cruises since covid...great safety and health procedures. Never sick!
We are very happy for you Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
Thanks for being so candid. We haven't had covid yet, and don't want it, so as lovely as the ship and staff looked, we humans are the deciding factor for us. Too bad some people are so inconsiderate. On the plus side, you saw some spectacular sites which you'll always have in your memories. Thanks for sharing ♥️
Our pleasure! we have wonderful memories of our trip to Greenland 🇬🇱 Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Sorry to hear that we , we wore masks 😷 on the plane ✈️ not many others were Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦✈️
Greenland was my maiden name but I have never been there. Glad you had a great time.
Thats very cool Sandi , it was a lovely place to visit have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Hope you feel fully well soon! The prospect of being in a crowded group indoors for days given COVID and Norovirus has put us off cruising right now.
We understand Sam and we are giving cruising a miss too!
Great that you are on the mend! That is really too bad that you got covid after being so careful about it for the last 3 years. We just came back from a bus tour from Ottawa to crowded NYC and was pleasantly suprised that we didn’t get covid. I love how you get in depth about your travels and make us better informed. Thank you!
Your very welcome glad you enjoy our videos have a great weekend Cheers Suzie 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🍷
Oh wow! I’m so sorry the sickness ruined few days on your cruise. But I’m glad you feel better now. Thanks for the video and for your openness to share your experience. Stay well you two.
Thanks Eva have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🌺
Thanks we are not rushing to exercise Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦
Welcome home Tina and Norm! So sorry you fell ill while cruising. Glad you're feeling better. Thanks for your honesty.❤
Thanks Karen hope you are having a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
Thank you for your honesty, enjoying all your videos...
So nice of you Danny have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
So sorry you got sick! Prayers that you feel better!
Thank you Lisa 🌺
Sooo sorry you were sick, but grateful for sharing your story. My husband and I are booked for a river cruise in April. People are letting their guard down, makes our plans a little scary. Thanks so much for sharing your adventure!
We hope you enjoy your river cruise 🚢 Kathy thanks for watching have a great week Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
I am really sorry you both fell ill. I hope you are both feeling better and make a full recovery. Good on you for making the video when not 100%. Covid is out there sadly xx
Thank you so much we are feeling better and yes it is out there Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
Wow if you can afford Windstar you're in the BIGBUCKS! I'm going to the Marqguesas Islands New Zealand Australia 32 days, all inclusive, everything you had. Same price. Twice as long. Small ship but you were crammed
We hope you have a great time Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
So glad you are on the mend! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Thank you 🚢🌺🙂
Boy, Norm, and Tina, I am so sorry that you got sick on your cruise.
Your very welcome David hope your friend is feeling better we are on the mend ❤️🩹 have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇨🇦🚢🇮🇸🙂
So sorry to hear that you are not well Suleman , guess planes ✈️ and cruises 🚢 all put us at risk . Hope you feel better soon take care 🌺🚢✈️
Thanks Judy glad you are enjoying our videos Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🍷
So sorry that you got Covid on an expensive cruise! I also love to cruise but am not planning anything at the moment. It seems too risky.
Thank you perhaps it was too soon but we were just trying to get back to living after not being able to travel for so long Rosemary Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Hello Tina & Norm! Glad you’re on the mend. Thanks for all of your wonderful videos! I always look forward to me Tina & Norm fix, as I hope to retire in 2024. Cheers!
Our pleasure! we wish you well to retire in 2024 and have a great weekend Diane Cheers 🇮🇸🚢🇨🇦🍷
Fantastic job putting a positive spin on a great learning experience! Thanks!
Our pleasure! have a great weekend Bob Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
We are approaching our retirement and I enjoy your posts so much. I can't imagine your disappointment / frustration with having gotten covid after the care you've taken the past 3+ years. We are hoping the best for you and certainly want to see you both recover quickly.
Thank you so much! We are very much better, the good side if there is one is the natural antibodies we have developed.
Stay well
Thank you so much! have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Glad to hear you are feeling better now! Thanks again for another great video. We currently prefer the 2-3,000 size cruises (HAL and Celebrity). I think 300 with little entertainment and less stabilisation would be too much for us.
We have always liked HAL but we thought we would be safer on a smaller ship 🤔have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸
That’s terrible that you got sick. I hope you feel better soon!
I am sorry to hear they weren’t being cautious about COVID.
Thank you we are feeling a lot better have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇨🇦🚢🇮🇸
So sorry that you were sick but glad you are well now.
Thanks Diane have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🌺
Glad your both feeling better.
Thank you 🙂🚢🍁
We’re sorry to hear you were sick but glad you’re home safe and sound. Feel better soon!
Thanks Darlene have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🍷
My son was traveling in Iceland. He brought wonderful videos and photos from there. Glaciers, a thermal lake, waterfalls - it all looked like fantastic alien landscapes, especially glaciers and coastal icebergs. He was in Iceland in July 2019, but even in July he took a warm jacket with him, which he had to wear. He was on a round trip plane from Toronto. Unfortunately, people can become infected on an airplane.
Iceland 🇮🇸 is a wonderful place to visit Glad your son enjoyed his visit Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Yes we do realize we could of caught it before Judy and we won’t be cruising anytime soon either Cheers 🍁🙂🍷🚢
That’s too bad you got sick! For all this time you’ve been so careful and then bam!😢
In many ways yes it sucks !! we are so trying to get back to normal Grace ( whatever that is ) Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Thank you .
Sorry to hear that Gail we won’t be either 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸
Thanks for the vlogs on this. This latest round of covid isn’t pleasant. We’ve just got over it. Our parents recently caught it on a Rhine river cruise and we’re confined to cabin for several days. An even smaller boat!! Like you say a lot of passengers are still going on holiday even if they are ill.
Sorry to hear that you and your parents got it , it’s no fun have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🍷
Carry on!
Thank you so much! actually Ireland 🇮🇪 is on our list to visit have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇮🇸🇨🇦🚢🙂🍻
All good reminders. I hope that you are fully recovered soon.
Thanks 🌺
Welcome home. Glad you are both feeling better.
Thanks Carol have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
Looks like a really interesting cruise...unfortunate that you both got sick but I am glad you are feeling better
Thanks so much! have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
Thank you for the great review. Glad you're feeling better.
Your welcome, yes we are feeling better each day just need the cough to go Sherri Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🍷
Hi Norm and Tina - love your videos! Did you notice in the background of your picture of the ocean swell that there is a rainbow?! Great picture! Sorry you got sick but glad to see you both are back home safe and sound 😊
Norm did thats why he took it LOL 😂😂Anne , it was beautiful to see have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇮🇸🚢🇨🇦🙂🍷
Sorry you had a rough time, but glad you enjoyed some of your adventures. Get to 💯 soon!
Thanks Beverly we would be thrilled to get to 100K , a dream come true Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸🙂
so sorry to hear, glad you guys are better
Thank you 🌺
I'm so sorry you got sick on the cruise -- same thing happened to us in 2022. I'm with Norm about staying off of cruises at least for awhile -- you just can't trust the other passengers. Really enjoy your videos!
Sorry to hear you got sick it’s no fun is it , have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🚢🍷🇨🇦🇮🇸
Thanks Rosanne, we are taking 5,000 iu per day now, we did cut down in summer, we are taking K2 to help take calcium from vitamin D to the bones.
Thanks for sharing the review. Very interesting. Sorry to hear that you both got sick.
Our pleasure! have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🍷
So sorry to hear you were so sick & still not well.
Great report. Been thinking of a cruise but may wait a wee bit longer. Thank you. ❤💕
Now you mention it yes you would think they might have left leaflets in the cabin for the ports have a great weekend Cheers 🚢🇮🇸🇨🇦🙂
God strengthen you as you fully recover. 🙏❤️
Thank you!
A tip- we never take the elevator on a cruise. We always take the steps. Just an extra way to avoid sick people.
Good tip, on this cruise ship they had micro elevators, posted at 4 people but only two fit, so we’re solo for most of the time.
I am very sorry to hear you got sick on your trip. Thank you for your honest evaluation of your trip. The good and bad. Speedy recovery.
Thank you so much! have a great weekend Cheers 🇮🇸🚢🇨🇦🍷
As always we enjoyed your video! Once again it was interesting and informative. Thanks guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sorry to hear that Cathy , we think precautions have lapsed Cheers 🚢🇨🇦🇮🇸
For the money sounds like it wasn’t all that great. Sorry you two got sick . Very expensive, but I haven’t been on a cruise in years . I’m sure prices have risen. Sounds like you had some good days . Get well soon ❤smart town USA 🇺🇸
We think that cruise prices have gone up since we last cruised in 2019 , lovely to hear from you Cinde have a wonderful weekend Cheers 🇺🇸🚢🇮🇸🍷🙂🇨🇦
Sorry you got sick during your first cruise after keeping safe for such a long time. Wifey and I are still a bit paranoid about cruises but we have taken a few flights to Panama (both of us finally obtained the permanent residency there) and so far so good...😎👍
Sounds great we wish you both well Cheers 🙂🍁🍷
Hi Tina& Norm good to see you again and another great informative video I think we are going to have to put up with Covid for some time 😢but I’m pleased you are both ok Jan and I are of to Spain soon so I will look forward to more of your videos
Take care of yourself Regards. Christopher Barker
We are feeling better just need to get rid of the coughs enjoy your trip to Spain 🇪🇸 Christopher Cheers 🇬🇧🚢🍻🇨🇦
