LIke I mentioned previously... my wife says I have room for one...count 'em: ONE stand up arcade machine. This $35 machine is the one I decided to turn into a MAME machine. It's not rare, or hard to find locally...and honestly, it gets way more use now than as a dedicated Centipede machine in my house.
With the popularity of arcade 1up machines this shows how much cooler it is to make your own. This might be my new project after I turn 40 next month. Yours came out awesome! I saw you used the x arcade control boards which are good quality and affordable too.
When I was a kid, I fancied having a Street Fighter 2 arcade macine at my home. I even had dreams about it. Was it only I or have you had such dreams, too?
Definitely not just you---I can also say that I've had dreams, but mine was the Adams Family Pinball. I would (and still do today) dream of having that thing in my living room and having people come over and play it. I love that game!
***** I've been dreaming for a few years to have my own Japan Rhythm Heaven arcade machine. Unfortunately, I just have to stick to the GBA port instead... ;(
DMP was absolutely hilarious in this episode, haha. Anyway, glad to see the machine turned out well! That HyperSpin front-end especially looks very, very slick.
Paul just doesn't have the room in his house...but he LOVES to build things, so he jumped at the chance. Plus, he's over at my house all the time, so he'll get the benefits from it too.
I am a huge Porcupine Tree. I love their albums: Stupid Dream, Lightbulb Sun, In Absentia and Deadwing...to name a few. One of my all time favorite ProgRock bands
I'm not worried about the arcade purists, as we host a lot of parties at my house...and at some point BEER will be knocked over and spilled on this machine. It's the GAME CONSOLES that I get really anal about!
Actually we joke about drinking and being drunk, but we maybe had 3 beers over the entire day. You can rest assured we both came away with all our appendages intact.
MetalJesusRocks i just want to say i been following u on here for a while and im in love with the show and your life style i want to start my own show on youtube like yours only more hip hoppy but i want to dedicate the first episode to u and im gonna build a custom bar top arcade in your honor oh... dmp rocks too
I found this awesome all in one cheat for Mortal Racing :) facebook.com/1744409099120531/photos/a.1744414269120014.1073741828.1744409099120531/1744414249120016/?type=3&pidid=ea2c1196-ff55-4045-ae36-fa2006c40a4e Building a MAME Arcade
Nice Build! I've done such in the past complete from scratch and using an old TV in it (does make it look more authentic; eg. original scan-lines without to emulate them). I bought original Arcade controllers from a local dealer, which where the most expensive part, but worth it. It's been some riddling to connect all the dots to make that work in keyboard scheme. Finally i used my Amiga 500 for running it, hidden in the marque to get access to its keyboard if needed. It 20 years ago by now.
Man this brings back memories of my childhood as my dad had a few arcade cabinets and 2 of them were in fact centipede and Capcom bowling. Had them set up in our game room with our computers and consoles/tv's back then which is where all the fun was he had his friends over and i had my cousins, nothing like arcades battles and playing Duke Nukem and all the classics in pvp. I was like 4th and 5th grade. Now that i am in my mid 20's i want to eventually build myself a Mame since we don't have them anymore and all my old consoles are gone. One day going to start a collection again though.
This is such a cool idea! Another similar idea I just thought of is to take a tablet, some professional music software, an external hard drive, some really big speakers and a cabinet, to make a jukebox!
Just watched your mame cab video and am instantly hooked. Now I am a subscriber. I like your production, and not overly produced like a lot of videos. 5 stars, will recommend
Just wanted to say "thanks guys!" for doing this vid. It was one of the inspirations for me to build my mame cab and also a source of various ideas. Ive been working on mine for just under a year and im always finding some way to tweak and improve it :) great vid!
C`mon share the info!!....how much did you get the cab for? & then if you could explain what is a fair , bad & ripp off price? it would be very handy to know. thanks ps & wow!! someone donated an X arcade board! I have an old (well two actually) Pentium 4 desktops running XP, would these suit for MAME? (Just MAME btw nothing else as they are just spare & laying around in a cupboard)
emmanuel mckoy 300 is what the controls are going to cost alone, thats canadian dollars,it also depends on what you want, trackball guns etc,MINIMUM 300 dollars for a working machine, and that wont take you very far.
What a great video! Love seeing things like old cabinets come back to life. And I've been looking for something like Hyper Spin forever! It works so well and streamlines everything.
6:53 - DMP walking the sander...is there a euphamism there? I bet we could invent one. Around 8:00 - DMP sings a song and rocks it like a duck. 9:20 - That cabinet looks f'ing INCREDIBLE!! Can't wait to come over and try it out!
Cool, but they are not making that cab anymore so there is only so many "Senipeed and or Capcom Bowling" cabs in existence and once there gone, they are gone. I think it would have been smarter to use www.mameroom.com/webstore_home.asp or xtensionarcadecabinet.com/
My age is relevant because I was born more or less at the same time the first arcade cabinets were being introduced into the world ;) Cool to see someone doing it themselves. Great job again !!
Aaah MAME.. The only thing I feel is lacking in the MAME-emulator is the ability to limit your continues. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that we at no cost finally get to beat games that just ate our money in the arcades when we were kids, but in a way, unlimited credits takes away the sense of challenge and accomplishment that is present (and should be) in games without unlimited continues. You need to have some form of motivating factor, something which tells you that "oh, an extra life? I ACTUALLY need that" ... without it, you can just breeze through a game from start to finish, not caring about creative events and awesome game-mechanics that offer extra lives as a reward for daring feats, etc. I mean, what's the point in that? What is the point in never actually dying? There is no real threat. The games just ask you for more coins and with the press of a button, you feed MAME an unlimited amount. Sure, you can just try to limit yourself in a faux-realistic manner where you tell yourself "I'm only going to play for the amount of five credits, after that, I'm out of money and its game over", but that would be akin to the old wooden PONG-consoles where you yourself had to keep score by sliding sliders to mark out how many points you had. Its a minor complaint, but still, it would be nice if I had the option at least. And I can't imagine that a simple option for a pre-determined limit to how many "coins" you feed the emulator would be all that hard to program.
The thing is, you CAN limit yourself to a certain fixed number of credits which you determine yourself..... but if the game is good, can you really see yourself saying "oh well, I'm out of money now, so I can't play anymore"? ... if the game is good, chances are you wont want to quit. If you are playing something awesome, like an arcade-classic, you have to be FORCED to quit, its the only way. And that would give you extra incentive to do your very best when you play the game.
+MetallSwede That's an easy problem to solve. Just attach a working coin mech to your cabinet & give the key to a random homeless guy. Now you're playing like there's no tomorrow!
MetallSwede You are the first person on earth to bitch about unlimited continues. Are you freaking kidding me? So people like you are why sega genesis released an ausome altered beast with zero continues? Have a little discipline instead and turn off the game moron. You have 3,000 games on mame. I'm.not reading the rest of your garbage. Hopefully no one taught your little head what a cheat menu is. ok.ok.....Since clearly you cannot use your head. There are plenty of ways to rig a piggy bank for mame, and have it activated by quarters. No one bothers to. You can even wire one of those cool action piggy banks. Now, or you can have discipline and put it in a coin jar, or slot and push start each time only if you have a quarter.....
Arcade cabs are the best. I converted a non working Thunderblade cab to Mame and it is tons of fun. For all the preservationist, you can often do this without making any real modifications to the cabinet so you can put it back to original condition if you want. That's how mine is, I kept all the original parts. In my opinion, its a lot more usable to have multiple emulators and games.
If anyone reading this could have only ONE arcade cabinet in their basement, and it has to only have the original game in it not an emulator with multiple games, and price is not a factor, what one would you pick?
Here are the games in the arcade montage: Twin Cobra Frogger Journey Cosmic Avenger Daiku no Gensan (or Hammerin' Harry) Hang-On Kaitei Daisensou (In the Hunt) Time Pilot Kung-Fu Master Rebecca & I playing Raiden
I'm speechless (but can still type). No offense, and if you like this and it makes you happy, then great, but this is THE worst butchering of an arcade cab I have ever seen. Even ignoring the option of restoring this to a working centipede cab, which would have been incredibly easy since the cab is clearly in very good condition, not to mention made it something worth some money... there are so many better ways you could have converted this to a mame cab. Your mate clearly has plenty of tools, he could have easily disassembled the X-arcade and mounted it's buttons and sticks in the original metal control panel. There are multiple ways of interfacing a computer with an arcade monitor, none of which are expensive, and you originally wanted a portrait monitor anyway. Why on earth is there a big ugly exposed switch for the marquee light on the front?!? Plug the light into the powerboard inside, or at least put the switch on the back. Those speakers... I guess you at least acknowledge that they are pretty bad. I'd rather have left the peeling vinyl than slop paint on the side with a brush... at least spray it! I'm not really sure what the point of having an arcade cabinet is if it basically looks no better than putting a controller and monitor on a bookshelf. Ok I'm done.
Are you aware that prefacing a comment with "no offense" does not in any way negate the possibility that the comment is offensive. Not that I'm saying your comment is offensive, I actually agree with some of the things you are saying, but saying, "no offense" is a pet peeve of mine. In fact it usually turns an innocuous comment into an offensive comment. No offense of course. :D
Yes well, it seems to be a favourite pet peeve of many people to constantly point out that when people say "no offense" what follows is often offensive. But what is actually meant by "no offense" is: "I'm not saying this for the purpose of being offensive, but if I'm being honest *insert critique here*", so it is an acknowledgement that the opinion one is about to give may cause offense, but convey that one is simply being honest and is sorry for any offense caused. So it is in fact a way of being more tactful and polite, and I don't really understand why people get upset about it, probably because while the sentiment that this abbreviated phrase conveys was once commonly understood, this understanding has been lost over time. How it turns an innocuous comment into an offensive comment is beyond me, I don't see that at all.
HughWS Here's the thing though. If you have to preface a comment with "No offense", you probably failed in properly constructing an unoffensive comment in the first place. An unoffensive comment is self-evident, you don't have to preface an unoffensive comment with, "no offense" if it truly is an unoffensive comment. And the fact of the matter is, prefacing a comment with "no offense", is now commonly associated with offensive comments, so saying, "no offense" is actually counter-productive, because people are now conditioned to be offended by "no offense" comments. So you're better off just trying to be as unoffensive as possible in your remarks/criticism, without thinking saying, "no offense" will mitigate any hurt feelings.
HughWS So in other words, you are incapable of formulating a cogent argument against my points. You therefore have been intellectually defeated, and in a desperate attempt to save face, you remain obstinate in your irrationality. Of course there is no cure for stupidity unfortunately, and stubborn fools like yourself rather dig their heels in the sand than admit that their position is intellectually bankrupt. No offense of course. :)
Hijynx87 yes I know he got a PC but I suggested it before he made the update video. Also because of the price I thought it would be a good replacement.
It all depends on the finish. I mean, I made a table-top cabinet, basically like the monitor and joysticks as a standalone unit, and it probably cost less than $150. It helps if you have old stuff, like maybe an old laptop with a broken screen, an old monitor. The cheapest option is to use a USB controller and wire the joysticks to it - real keyboard controllers like X-Arcade can be expensive. Like 14catorce says, it's a lot more fun to build your own, and cheaper.
it depends. You can make a really cheap one for 200-400£ depending what you have (monitor, pc, speakers, etc..). If you want to buy a cabinet ready to play, a fair price would be between 800 to 2k£, depending the quality and size of the screen, add-ons... there are plenty of manufacturers in UK, but some of them can charge up to 4k£ for a top quality one. It's allways cheaper and more fun if you build your own machine.
RIP to another classic Centipede cabinet. Way to go.... 1 less dedicated game out there for a dumb MAME cab. Absolutely nothing resembling the original game. Should of just fabricated a new cabinet if you are going the X-Arcade route.
An horror, scrap an original Centipede for a "Mame" with a LCD... yuck. My arcade legends 3 cabinet is right cabinet for the job, with 3D (Foggy) picture. Arcade legends 3 is bad.
Dude that shit was a shame. I would have left the centipede art on the side. The LCD as a screen was a crummy idea as well. I would have gone for a 20" CRT monitor for a more classic feel to it.
X-Arcade?!? Blech! Bad enough you're doing Mame, but to not even do it right?!? Those buttons are HORRIBLE and the sticks aren't much better either! I normally love your videos, but I had to cut it off the moment I heard X-Arcade. With all the options out there, that's just mailing it in. #sadpanda
Knicka Bob I respectfully diagree.. my GF gave me a tankstick pro for DeadBabyJebus Day (aka xmas) and it's a STURDY bit of kit.. Personally I love the buttons and sticks, and it comes with a life time warranty which shows the makers have faith in the build quality.. Which it needs to be due to the ferocious nature of my SF2, III, EX style!
MJR, Paul seems to be a cool cat and a riot with that cab build. I would have had a kick with his help in building my cabs. It's good to have talented friends always willing to help...
I know I'm watching this six years after it posted but I thought I'd offer up some tips for future builds. I'm currently (well, in 2018) in the process of doing exactly what you guys did; convert an original centipede machine to MAME. The part where you're stripping the paint and vinyl off the sides with the original Centipede. You don't need to use a belt sander. You can but as MetalJesus found out, it's a pain in the ass. Just cover both sides of the cabinet with a product called Citristrip then leave it for two days and you can easily peel it right off. If you need to sand small bits off afterward you can. This will work on any vinyl for other old arcade projects too. Also, if you pulled out that light at the top, the original 6x9 speaker is behind it. I replaced the original light with led and it works great. I also bought a small 2.1 sound system and put the smaller speakers behind the light. You guys did great work though! Thanks so much for this video!
Well, that's it. I have watched all 131 episodes of Metal Jesus Rocks in two days! I am all up to date, but totally bummed I have to wait for new MJR. Sweet MAME Cab MJ. DMP's got some mad skillz!
I've been a long-time PC enthusiast. Yes, it's bad airflow, but considering what the machine is being used for, it's highly unlikely that the heating would be a problem. It's for stand-up arcade game sessions, not 5-hour long intensive gaming sessions. The games won't be pushing the machine very hard at all. Also, you speak about "aesthetics," but as I mentioned, it's not an issue -- it's hidden inside the cabinet. There are no aesthetics to speak of.
I was thinking the same thing, but yeah not everything is savable. I do like the retro art work on a lot of these machines. They help fuel the imagination if nothing else.
OPening a beer with any tool including a spoon/ lighter/ knife or really pretty much anything-- a crowbar in this case, is rather easy. You have it about 80% right. 1: grab the beer by the neck with your left hand. 2. place your index finger over the far end of the cap as though it were the support position of the bottle opener. *this is the part you missed* 3. place object under cap 4. pry under cap pushing the cap into the underside of your index finger and using your thumb as the fulcrum for the pry device. 5. consume!
I understand what people mean about building it from scratch etc. but I thought it was pretty cool. Would have like to have a bit more detail on how you made it but never mind. Added to favourites for future reference too ^_^
Just fine you on TH-cam, I wasen't having mutch hope, but finaly this episode is getting better and better!!!!!!! :) Big Up from a frenche guy in Cabano, Québec, Canada!!
I'm thinking of building a small table top MAME machine running Hyperspin using a a spare netbook with maxed out ram, and building a cab around it with some simple USB controllers I can swap out as needed as I don't have a lot of space in my house, and want too keep the budget for it down as well.
That's DMP's 2012 Dodge Challenger that has been upgraded with the Sports package, exhaust, better stereo and a bunch more. It's a really sweet ride!
LOL the intro was awesome, I think you guys did an excellent job on it so far, would love to have a MAME machine sometime myself.
Still the best MJR episode. I miss Drunken Paul on the channel

No trackball.. how are you gonna play capcom bowling? :P
+Gideon Waxfarb ---Or Centipede.
+Cao Xuân Ánh You're a spaz.
So exited! I managed to get an old golden tee cabinet that was modded with joysticks!
So my ipac board actually works with original arcade joysticks!

When you buy the X-Arcade stick, it includes a manual with link to their site and custom built MAME. I just used that... Easy!
Why am I only seeing this now???? Great stuff!!!
Oh yeah, I am so jealous the access you have to all the micro brews.
I'm starting to think that DMP is like the ultimate friend to have. Cooks, handy with tools, only needs a steady supply of alcohol? Hell yeah!
When your buddys a total door knob..but you need his help!
He is VERY annoying. Fake laughs, forced jokes.....i wonder was he ever a salesman.
mhks68 pfft, Paul's awesome
I read this as he danced across the screen with the boom box 😂
So fitting
DMP is awesome!
mhks68 Yes track ball
I am a huge Porcupine Tree. I love their albums: Stupid Dream, Lightbulb Sun, In Absentia and Deadwing...to name a few. One of my all time favorite ProgRock bands
Steven Wilson is a musical genius.
So under-appreciated by the world
Arrrghhhh.... here is me in 2020 trying to find original 80's cabinets in this awesome condition and these guys trash it for this end result... I cry.
Awesome dude. Really enjoyed that. Glad you got the hyper spin all tuned up too.
I'm not worried about the arcade purists, as we host a lot of parties at my house...and at some point BEER will be knocked over and spilled on this machine. It's the GAME CONSOLES that I get really anal about!
Coolest channel I've run across in awhile. These guys are down to earth, and intelligent. That's just great.
Actually we joke about drinking and being drunk, but we maybe had 3 beers over the entire day. You can rest assured we both came away with all our appendages intact.
Centipede was already converted to Capcom Bowling before we bought it. The artwork was beyond repair.
this shits a comedy show in itself +1 sub
Thanks! We had a blast that day making this video :)

You got a good friend in DMP.
Nothing but a bunch of chill, laid back buddies having fun in everything they do and collect.
I would have definitely went for a CRT instead, but a great project nonetheless.
most of these guys are not good enough for this. CRT needs skills they don't have.
Not to mention, a CRT needs maintenance, whereas an LCD is fine to just leave alone (or even replace after a couple of years).
Just wanted to say "thanks guys!" for doing this vid. It was one of the inspirations for me to build my mame cab and also a source of various ideas. Ive been working on mine for just under a year and im always finding some way to tweak and improve it :) great vid!

go to tinyarcades uk they sell the cabinets you can put on a table and the frame to build your own they also have a YT page
XP is what most people who use Mame run and I'd say around $200 maybe $300 is a decent price for a Mame machine.
emmanuel mckoy
thanks for the tip.
emmanuel mckoy
300 is what the controls are going to cost alone, thats canadian dollars,it also depends on what you want, trackball guns etc,MINIMUM 300 dollars for a working machine, and that wont take you very far.
Man I love that Dodge Challenger in the background. Nice work on the MAME arcade too and I wish I could do something like that.
i have epilepsy... i found your joke fucking hilarious :) my girlfriend makes seizure jokes aaaaaallll the time
What a great video! Love seeing things like old cabinets come back to life. And I've been looking for something like Hyper Spin forever! It works so well and streamlines everything.

I'm 15 years old and i'm probably buying an EMPTY arcade cab for about 180$ and the buttons and controllers for about 50$ and make it myself too!
Made one and it's finished about 2 months ago, works great.
Arcade cabs are the best. I converted a non working Thunderblade cab to Mame and it is tons of fun. Phil V Afterburner II. While the sega Genesis, and 3ds ports are amazing, they don't quite get the feel of an authentic arcade cabinet.
Probably would have to go with Terminator Salvation
The first person shooter? Because that game rocks, even if the movie was.. just okay.
Rj Swift Yeah. Didn't care much for the movie, but the arcade shooter was awesome!
Phil V Bust a Move
Here are the games in the arcade montage:
Twin Cobra
Frogger
Journey
Cosmic Avenger

I disagree with everything you just said and will continue to use this phrase where appropriate.
You folks have way to much fun doing this!! I sooo want to hang with you guys!
It's pronounced "MAY-MAY"
Paul is a great friend
you should get a Raseberry Pi and run retro pie on it
He bought a new pc, the pi is ok, but not perfect emulation on stuff past 16bit.
Not to be offense sir but you look like alice cooper! hahhaha
Nikos papanikolaou Yes to be offense sur
That Centipede cabinet art was so gorgeous...
why the hell would you turn a centipede machine into capcom bowling?
I'm pretty sure someone else did that and it was pro bowling when they took control of it.
+MechaGregor _ The cabinet was already ruined by the last owner.
It was already shot, why not use it for something else? Plus Centipede is a pretty common game.
looks like it worked out for him, why all the butthurt in the comments?
An horror, scrap an original Centipede for a "Mame" with a LCD... yuck.
My arcade legends 3 cabinet is right cabinet for the job, with 3D (Foggy) picture. Arcade legends 3 is bad.
Dude that shit was a shame. I would have left the centipede art on the side. The LCD as a screen was a crummy idea as well. I would have gone for a 20" CRT monitor for a more classic feel to it.
IntoTheMindlessAbyss
everyone does things differently..no need in putting others choices down.
IntoTheMindlessAbyss
I guess for the full retro experience CRT is best, but who the hell wants a half ton CRT when you can go LCD??
Dennis Neo Umm...the people who care about not having to worry about a stupid amount of lag when they play games?
Sean Dennis
lag? this isnt 1999 its 2015 and lcd/led have been good for years..lag has never been an issue for me and my gaming..
Thanks dude. You does rock. I'm planning on making a MAME machine out of this Primal Rage cab. Sweet!!!
Milmo Maggins Don't ruin a priceless Primal Rage cab, especially the super large ones.
X-Arcade?!? Blech! Bad enough you're doing Mame, but to not even do it right?!? Those buttons are HORRIBLE and the sticks aren't much better either! I normally love your videos, but I had to cut it off the moment I heard X-Arcade. With all the options out there, that's just mailing it in. #sadpanda
I got the X-Arcade free from a fan... and it's served me well, and been abused by many people at a ton of our parties. It's fine for what I need.
Knicka Bob Go home troll
Knicka Bob I respectfully diagree.. my GF gave me a tankstick pro for DeadBabyJebus Day (aka xmas) and it's a STURDY bit of kit.. Personally I love the buttons and sticks, and it comes with a life time warranty which shows the makers have faith in the build quality.. Which it needs to be due to the ferocious nature of my SF2, III, EX style!
Knicka Bob And you seem to be like... offering up problems, man. Why not, like, offer up a solution, dude?
What would be a better option?
The part where DMP is walking the belt-sander like a dog was just awesome. Why haven't t I ever thought of that???
MJR, Paul seems to be a cool cat and a riot with that cab build.
I would have had a kick with his help in building my cabs.
It's good to have talented friends always willing to help...
awesome stuff MJ and DMP. We love MAME your videos keep getting better and better
MAME with HyperSpin running over the top
Way to rock the Oregon beers!
This is by the developers of Metal Slug, called: Kaitei Daisensou (In the Hunt)
Great stuff man, double props for fooling the general public and making a project look easy!
I'm currently buying the same capcom bowling game to turn into mame and how cool that you did the same with great success.
Thank you for this. Im actually thinking of making an Arcade Cabinet out my gamecube and have a Melee cabinet just for fun
I was thinking the same thing, but yeah not everything is savable. I do like the retro art work on a lot of these machines. They help fuel the imagination if nothing else.
Like that centipede sticker, some of the best art of all time.
Nice cab!
beautiful...the black paint is perfect and the x arcade is the best ever created
*this is the part you missed*
3. place object under cap
4. pry under cap pushing the cap into the underside of your index finger and using your thumb as the fulcrum for the pry device.
5. consume!
once again cool video. mame-arcades are so convenient and an awesome thing!
Now I want to this sooo bad, it would be wicked to chop the arcade cab in half and make it a sort of tabletop arcade battlestation!
Amazing work! It looks incredible. I wish I had the skill and patience to do that.
You guys are pure awesomeness.
Why can't I have cool neighbors like these guys?
I understand what people mean about building it from scratch etc. but I thought it was pretty cool. Would have like to have a bit more detail on how you made it but never mind. Added to favourites for future reference too ^_^
I only use the standup MAME arcade cab for arcade games... I was just showing that you *could* use Hyperspin for consoles if you wished.
MetalJesusRocks girl say yes!
DMP cracks me up. Always entertaining re-watching this, just a great video all around.
Congratulations guys, that's Art.
Just fine you on TH-cam, I wasen't having mutch hope, but finaly this episode is getting better and better!!!!!!! :) Big Up from a frenche guy in Cabano, Québec, Canada!!
That was some badass bass in the background there ;)
This just seems like an all around good time.
Love this project! well done Paul, great job dude!!
That is awesome, is one of my future woodworking projects.
DMP is a teacher of martial arts 3 days a week. He has an entire WALL full of swords and knives.
Really nice!!! Love the MAN CAVE!!
The bit where DMP was using thh belt sander made me burst out with laughter!
I can'nt belive you gunted this classic arcade game for Mame
Heat and a scraper works really well to remove vinal stickers
This channel is so entertaining! YOU ROCK!! MetalJesusRocks
good work on the cab Paul!
I'm thinking of building a small table top MAME machine running Hyperspin using a a spare netbook with maxed out ram, and building a cab around it with some simple USB controllers I can swap out as needed as I don't have a lot of space in my house, and want too keep the budget for it down as well.
man, DMP is very surprisingly handy. I love your vids, guys!
