When I was but a wee lad, I remember walking with my dad into the then Spencer Street station and they had a huge model of a VR B class in a glass case just inside the main entrance. I wonder where that model ended up, I hope it was taken care of. I also remember walking past the front of a B class on on the platform and to a little kid the locomotive looked gigantic. Ahhhhhhhh, them were the days.
These were the bees knees as a kid growing up in Dunolly and still are today. Classics.
