While one cannot fault the man's great talent and awesome bass voice, Eric Hollaway simply does not belong. As a man of Sub-Saharan African descent, he would not have had a place among Viking warriors. His presence in the video serves as a visual distraction for anyone of Germanic/Nordic blood. Again, let me be clear, this is no slight to the man himself or his talent. He is an awesome vocalist. Of that there can be no debate. Just not the right vision for this type of music.

Second, While Vikings did travel as far as North Africa and the Middle East, there is no record of them going to Sub-Saharan Africa. North Africa, in the time of the Vikings was mostly Mediterranean peoples like the Berbers who were mostly White, having a large percentage of European DNA. That said, is there any possibility whatsoever that there may have been some sub-Saharan Africans among the Vikings at some point in time? Anything is "possible.
