Actually, we are told not insult other people’s conception of a deity so mocking etc. In Islam especially the first few generations, they allowed Christians and Jews to live with the Muslims, where’s the intolerance or disrespect, yes we believe Islam is true so there beliefs are then false however your belief is your belief but I am gonna intellectuals challenge it.

Nowhere in world religious literature is there a comparison or parallel .

This is a great service , clearing up misinformation and the usual comments made by people skeptical about sikhi. As usual, people don’t like listening to the truth and cling on to things like what is the hard proof for Sikhi and why there are similarities between Islam and some hindu religions vagera vagera It’s important for the truth of sikhi to be heard and people do their own study of sikh philosophy and be encouraged to follow themselves
BoS is doing amazing work, we need an authority to debunk and provide unequivocal truth so that confused people like the guy in the video, have no ground or platform to speak....i actually think this guy was lying on purpose

Great response guys! This is a good example of where false information is being spread on Sikhi and you guys did a great job in responding. Moral of the story is, really understand the message of our Guru’s and the GGS before making false accusations and statements.
As a Muslim, I must say that guy knows nothing about Sikhi. I've been learning about Sikhi for some time now, and none of what he says is right. And when he's talking about verses from the GGS, he's not only taking them out of context, he's not even saying them right.
For example, the verse about being good muslims, is directed towards muslims. Just as the verse about being good Hindus is directed toward Hindus. None of those verses in anyway proclaims that Sikhs should convert to either Islam or Hinduism.
I know some Muslims may get angry at me for saying this, but this is just facts. I watched the entire podcast with him and the 3muslims and he barely even talked about Sikhi. Much respect to these Sikh brothers for clearing the errors.

Thanks for clearing up this misconception that Guru Gobind Singh hated Muslims or Islam. I too had this misconception because a few Sikhs I grew up with in high school blamed everything that Aurangzeb and Moguls did on Islam. Then after they also added that I was responsible for it because I was Muslim. In addition, after pushing this blame then they added the statement about Guru Gobind Singh that if it wasn't for him all of India would be Muslim. Thanks to the internet age I spent hours studying Sikhism. The reality is Guru Gobind Singh stood up against imperialism his response to that was a actually a just response. What he did is greatly appreciated, and I am saying this as a Muslim.
That is very saddening to hear. Our Guru taught us that we should not hold hate against other people as the light of the one is within everyone. It’s unfortunate that you went through that.
If they want to talk about how Mohammed is mentioned in our Granths, they should also know that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji has said "Waheguru created Muhammed who was meant to be the master of arabia, who then went ahead and circumsized all kings and he got everyone to utter his name instead of the one of akaal purakh, thus why Guru Gobind Singh Ji was sent to spread naam/dharam" Acknowledgement of Muhammed in our Granths doesn't mean that we should all go ahead and follow the Quran.
Sorry to say, As a sikh you should know better that that is not what islam is. I was reading the quran there is nowhere it is mentioned that prophet mohamed did that. The muslims only believe in one god and believe Mohamed is the last prophet of god and they pray to one god. Think logically, Dasam Granth is not our guru. we should not believe Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj wrote all of Dasam Granth because it has some wrong information

Growing up in the US with a Sikh best friend, knowing his family, meeting Sikhs from school, I was shocked to Keane learn later on that animosity exists between the two communities.
I think it would be interesting if a knowledgeable Muslim were to come to the channel for a friendly chat. It would help quell misinformation. For example, the individuals on that channel represent Salafism, which is a modern heterodox understanding of the faith, whereas the concept of wahdat al-wujud (the unity of being) from Ibn Arabi is orthodoxy, Ibn Arabi being respected by both Brelvis and Deobandis (the two largest subcontinent Muslim movements, representing over 95% of the faithful). Unfortunately, this individual is both ignorant in his new faith as well as his former faith.

I think the lesson we should learn from this video is to become more knowledgeable about our religion (not only history but also Gurbani) as much as possible, so that, if someone points out an error in our religion, atleast we are able to address their doubts in a rightful manner.

Might with which Allah elevates Islam (and its people) and disgrace with which Allah humiliates disbelief (and its people).)
Tamim Ad-Dari [who was a Christian before Islam] used to say, "I have come to know the meaning of this Hadith in my own people. Those who became Muslims among them acquired goodness, honor and might. Disgrace, humiliation and Jizyah befell those who remained disbelievers."
