    I Absolutely Love the Vintage Retro look! And PJ's presentations, they are always So thorough! My fav things are it has a 2 door fridge, an oven (YES!), microwave- a full kit and bath. I have to comment on the cute bedspread and pillows, LOVE those the most and walk around bed! And oh the storage space and Red ♥️ or Turquoise exterior. It just gets better and better, plus All of this, is lightweight, just 18 ft.,
    SO Beautiful! ⭐⭐⭐

    We own a 2018 19ERD. Although there are some nice features with the CSK, the ERD layout gives us rear dining with more windows to look out and see the scenery. We don't have a slide to deal with. Brand new we pd $18K with the hitch and weight distribution bars. It did great through our first season of camping. (This CSK seems way overpriced to me.) We love our ERD and get alot of lookers and complements on it.

      Thanks I was looking at that. These seem beautiful with wood. You also get black water flush? That seems rare. I wish they were 7' wide instead of 7.5 feet.

    Very nice walk through by PJ. This camper is very cute with the vintage styling and there are some nice features throughout. However, the outlets for small appliances should be to the left of the stove, where you actually have counter space, rather than above the sink. I wouldn't want wires hanging around the sink. I also wonder about the furnace being below the refrigerator.

    Like it but would like a aluminum frame better. And larger fridge, extra insulation, add solar panels 800w, generator. Add cellphone booster wifi booster, metal faucet and bathroom sink. Add metal sink for kitchen. Add rear view camera, addled light on each side that automatically comes on by motion.spiff it up.

    The entrance is too cluttered though. It will make taking things in and out very difficult.

    In all honesty this one has the best kitchen for a TT I have seen so far and believe me I have been researching TT's for the last five years.Not to keen on where they put the ice box (lol) usually in this type of set up the refrigerator is right by the front door then a pantry cabinet/wardrobe. But I do love the colors and you say it comes in the turquoise :) do you have a walk thru on the turquoise color somewhere I would love to check it out!

    It's funny to put the furnace right under the fridge.

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agreed. Beyond stupid. The back of frig is vented to outside in order to dissipate heat. Then they put an appliance next to it to create extremely high heat. Typical RV manufacturer, but, hey, they are counting on the stupidity of the buyer for a pass.

      How about the USB ports directly over the sink, with no shelf for your electronics? In their last trailer I saw on youtube, the TV was at the end of the hall next to the bathroom?!!!! Love the look, but sell me the empty shell, so I can design the interior myself please

    I was just curious (nice trailer BTW), near the end of the video, what kind of trailer is that really low looking thing behind the Vintage Cruiser? Is it a utility/camper trailer of some kind? Some kind of pop up? It's got a big window on the front of it.

    • @KenWPeek
      @KenWPeek 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, really bad engineering to put a heat-source underneath the fridge.

    • @Chimp_6
      @Chimp_6 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually the adsorption refrigerators work by creating heat (propane flame or electric heated rod). The fridge vent is where the heat is created so the hot air from the furnace vent won't hurt, if anything it might even help a little.

      I have spent my summer holidays in a caravan for several years. And this one seems designed by someone who doesn't know what is it and for potential customers going in the nature for the first time.
      This is for two elderly people only, it's not tailored for a family with children because of the sofa (instead of a dinette). When I'm older i'll spend my money for good B&B around the world saving myself from these expensive solutions.

    I think the table storage should be under the couch. There should be a long drawer on the very bottom of it to store the table in it. Why do you want to store the table under the bed or in one of the exterior storage areas? That space under the couch is wasted.

    • @SpiritBear12
      @SpiritBear12 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. The way they have it now, the table would take up the whole floor and would be difficult to get around it to use the bathroom if some one were on the opposite side of the table. Dinette makes more sense, but, it would not be as comfy as a couch.

  • @bobhenning7102
    @bobhenning7102 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Somewhat disappointed with Gulf Streams offering. I don't care for the open floorplan and the slide doesn't do it for me. I like the 19TRD the best the dinette in the back is awesome.

  • @Oncewasgolden
    @Oncewasgolden 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    The furnace under the refrigerator means every time you use it, it makes the refrigerator temperature plummet and often you will get water leakage due to ice melting. We have this same setup in our Springdale. So this is from actual experience. I bought my unit 5 yrs. ago, so can’t believe no one in the industry knows about this yet. Kinda stupid!

    • @shitloveaduck
      @shitloveaduck 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dark Whispers -would you be able to add a heat shield or insulation to help your circumstance out? Just brainstorming to see if I could be of help, not criticizing or anything. I have had several travel trailers and can see what you are saying is happening as being very true. Roxul is rock wool so very fireproof. It can take a lot more heat. I admit, I do not know it’s point of combustion. Aluminum heat shields have worked very well on the farm with some of our “improvised” machinery. Haha.

    • @Oncewasgolden
      @Oncewasgolden 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      GT500 I have no idea if there is space or not. Like the one in the video, the refrigerator is built into cabinetry. Short of completely dismantling all the wood and rebuilding it yourself, I cannot see another way. The point is a furnace under the refrigerator is a very bad idea. Imagine our dismay to wake up and find water all over the kitchen floor. Just a very bad design and certainly not something you should pay money for. Especially if you think you will have to completely redo the cabinetry.

But do not like the wood color.. a farmhouse color would look better.yes, i know it is a vintage look,, but the insides, a different story..

    I think it's great that GS has eliminated the bathroom on these models. With most RV parks these days having outstanding restroom and shower facilities there is really no need for you to haul around your own bathroom. I also think it's admirable that they have manufactured the camper shell from recycled plastic pop bottles - kudos on that!!! All in all, a great product!

    Its not a queen size bed. A queen is 60 x 80 my husband is 74 inches tall so he wouldn't fit. A lot of RVs say they're queen when they're not. I wish they would get it right to make it easier to shop

  • @KenWPeek
    @KenWPeek 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love it except for two things: I HATE slide-outs; and I'm 6'4", so having anything less than a 60"x80" queen bed is a deal-killer. I'd rather have a small dinette in place of the couch (without the slide-out); and I would sacrifice the full walk-around bed for a full (house sized) queen bed across the back. I will not be buying this model due to the two deal-killers above.
