South Africa is in shambles, but to call it a failed state is indicative of how little you understand geopolitics. For a country to be deemed to be a failed state it takes much more than a few individuals looting the state coffers. For as long as the rest of Africa keeps messing their economies, South Africa will always thrive. South Africa is busy fighting for equity and that fight will continue until victory is attained. Foreigners in South Africa have come to reverse the slow gains of our revolution, they don't even realise that they are a hindrance to our struggle. Your guest doesn't understand society issues, he is drawing from his tender anecdotal experience. There is relying more on emotion than facts!

I vehemently disagree with the notion that we black people don't care for each other, the truth is that we just can't afford to, resources are incrementally scarce and we're scrambling for scraps and crumbs. It's the ANC that distroyed black (political+economic) solidarity.

@@thethemakhele8450 honestly we're being held back by a particular generation, the sooner they transition to the spirit realm the better off we'll be. And I think most voters are either party loyalists and ethno fanatics. They aren't that interested in performance and our youth is barely interested in politics.
