Nope it unlocks a certain amount of ammo for a certain ammo type. Not sure if it affects different ammo types giving them more ammo or affecting the same ammo type giving them more ammo per level but that's the main use of the skill for a gunner. If you see gunners running Kirin Leg Guards then that's why.
Imortant side note: To incease the damage that cluster bombs do (to the max.) you need artillery III, its mandatory on any build you want to ever use cluster bombs the only other influence on clusters are attackboost (up to VII) and peak performance (up to III) aand heroics (but thats only for masochists)
The bomber skill is for barrel bombs, the elementless doesn’t work on any gun than can fire elemental ammo (including dragon) but will work on ones that don’t.
This is a pretty cool build me and a friend were playing around with it. You know if you swap the pants for kirin beta you can take an attack charm instead of ammo up charm getting you to attack 7 with only 1 attack gem the only draw back really is evade extend is level 2 and peak performance is 1 but gives you a ton of single slots for artillery and divine protection and what not or more health.
I use the Teostra HBG, love the arty build i made for it, having all three cluster bombs really outputs damage and i think it slots all 3 sticky ammos as well. Can't remember anymore because i moved on to the Hunting horn.
I have to say, I think dodogama gun is better. I sometimes run it in multiplayer with my squad. We have headsets so we talk (which is important with explosive ammos), and I only use it on larger monsters. Sticky ammo is the main shot. When we sleep a monster we set bombs, then I aim clusters and wait till the great sword wakes the monster before I fire. It’s crazy effective.
depending on if you want to make a cluster build, devil jhoe hbg is the best one for that, for most other strats Kulve has a good option (upgrade for normal monster versions)
very Good video thumbs up ;) Explosives are not effected by affinity because they all ignore the armor of monsters and should always do the same amount of damage against every part of monsters. to increase the damage you need to have the skill artillery (not heavy artillery) that boosts the dmg of explosives by 30% I think at level 3 ^^
Can you explain how to crafted through the radio menu? It happened to me once when I ran out of flash pods but it was only able to craft one flash pod. How do you craft more than one?
When you readjust you radial menu, you can go to a tabthat says "craftables" or something like that. From there you have to choose lets say the flash pods and you can craft them every time you click on them. If lets say you only have the actual flashpods in your radial menu, you can only craft 1 every time you run out of them. Not multiple.
I don't want to be harsh to you but the damage value you're talking about is called the "bloat value" and is has nothing to do with damage... if you want to know how much attack your weapon has, you have to *devide* it by that multiplier! The bloat value just exists so that newcomers to MH won't be confused as to why a greatsword and a sns have the same attack...
Personally, I prefer a sticky/cluster build for multiplayer as you can use the sticky to reduce sending others flying. On another note, killing the monsters in less than 5 minutes makes the game boring to me.
in case you were wondering, any bowgun that can use fire/freezer/thunder/water or dragon shots are not effected by the non-elemental boost skill.

If you Solo that mission and got under the monster you could of done a lot more damage faster.
Does bomber jewel affects sticky ammo?
