Need ac but the am fm cassette I can live with, I still have tapes and an adapter for playing my phone through the player, they even have bluetooth ones now.

You don't see good out the back window, it's the type of car you use the side view mirrors more often. Mine was more for it's looks inside and out. It had white interior, white sets front and back white over head and door panels.black dashboard and carpet and console The girls loved it I think more than I did. Sad was it had a351 modified instead of a big block. But on the open road it flew held it over 100 miles an hour all day never got hot, never used any oil. The real sad day was when I totaled it and I wasn't speeding. It was raining and a lady slide out in front of me I swerved but my rear tire caught wet guess and that was the end. Sucks

I know this is a very old ad but so many items on the car were incorrect. The hood black out was not shiny it was flat to take glare away. The Q code engine could not get ram air. The ram air designation was positioned way off should be closer to the front. There was no decal on the air cleaner of a RA car. The rear valance is not right. The 73 did not have the cut outs to clear the exhaust pipes they turned down before the panel. There is not call out on the build sheet or Buck tag for two different panels. Wrong gas cap on car. The front side marker lights should have been blacked out and also the area around them on the fender. The rear window louvers never came on any 71 - 73 mustang all aftermarket. There was never a trunk mat in any version except a Grande and it was a fiber mat. Magnum 500 wheels were not an option on the 73 they got Forged Aluminum. They did not have RWL radial tires only bias ply. The car is just a shiny used car not a restored original. I have 8 of them and one is a 73 that I ordered new and has 12,000 one owner miles so I know them pretty good.
You're right. 1973 if a factory ram air was a 2 barrel engine. Another thing I thought was odd about 73. The 4 barrel engine had the big ports but 2 barrel sized valves.
This car is not restored correctly! The biggest changes from factory invoice are the mach 1 sports interior black(plain white vinyl) rear spoiler, exhaust cut outs ,ram air,tires were whitewalls with sport hubcaps not magnum 500's! Being a white on white car makes it somewhat rare. All other changes dont hurt its collectibility! I owned a 73 mach 1 that was built on 1st day restored to MCA Street Driven Concours specs!

I noticed that the trunk doesn't align up with the surrounding body panels. Also the right side of the hood doesn't align up with the fender.

This is actually not the last Mach 1 with a V8. The 2004 Mach 1 was the last one with a V8

Ford had engine families. Even original Ford literature said it was a medium block.
