Hello, Anja. You're my joint-favourite TH-camr. Your videos are always so calming and refreshing.
I like avoiding excessive plates and cutlery. While I do occasionally entertain guests at home, there is something very nice about the Buddhist monk idea of only having the bowls for your own meals and mindfully washing up when you have finished eating.
And certainly not having 'best' plates (for special occasions) ... my parents' generation had these and even as a child it was utterly unfathomable to me. All about societal conditioning as to how we should signal wealth in Western countries ...

Early in my minimalist journey, I realized I only needed a few dishes and cooking pots.
I recently realized that my 2 favorite saucepans are at least 40 years old.
My mother gave them to me before she passed away. I use them a couple of times a week and they still work just fine 🙂

You are so good Anja at regularly looking to see what you can declutter and having a valid reason for doing so 😊 this gives me and I'm sure others some inspiration 😊

      Hi Anja
Thank you for your love heart reply. I read your post about sad news and taking a break . With your words about hugging your pet I hope I'm wrong in thinking has something happen to Oliva your rabbit? 🐇 I hope not 😥 you are such a devoted animal lover and carer shown through your interactions with her ❤ take good care of yourself and hopefully there'll be a new post from you when your feeling ready bye for now.

It feels great to let go of things ans clothes that are of no use anymore. Got the same carrier, 2 actually for my cats! A bit clumsy for sure but they work fine. Thanks for sharing 💗🌹💗🌹

Thanks for sharing. Out of curiosity , when you date, what do men think of the minimalism?
