Actually he can, this is his old vocal distortion incorrect technique which he still can do but it's dangerous for his vocal health. Instead of that he is using proper technique which should sound the same but for some reason it doesn't, maybe it's because his vocal chrods and vocal folds are damaged because of using incorrect technique so it sounds like an old tractor

I've just commented the same in other Trivium's videos. I can't imagine Trivium without Paulo, his vocals are sick and his bass lines in Incineration- The Broken World or Throes of Perdition are fucking awesome.

I have no idea how they performed that song so effortlessly. For those of you that don't know, this song is hard as fuccck to play. This drummer holds it down though, holy shit. Corey and Matt, holdin it down as well.
Dude I don't see how Matt plays and screams at the same time in the verses. the chorus is no problem for me. But the verses I can't do them at the same time.

I love these videos from Chapman Studios so much; I couldn't even begin to count how many times I've watched them. I would love to see them do every song from every album like this (over several days or a couple weeks, of course) and release it as a different kind of live DVD.
I doubt they would do EVERY song but there's some I would love to see...basically the whole Shogun album lol

Look, Megadeth and Trivium are my two all time favorite bands.Heafy is young, he is doing everything perfectly, he sounds amazing live, he writes great songs. Mustaine is a living legend, he has struggled a lot, he has destroyed himself many times, it's a pure miracle, that he is still here. I have been to 5 Megadeth and 3 Trivium shows, I'd say that both bands are doing great and no matter that Dave isn't as good as he used to be, he has done a lot. Matt will be a legend,but still, Dave is one.

Dude, Matt hasn't gone worse with screaming and clean vocals, however he has inproved. He still sings like this, but it is impossible to hear, when you are watching live performances, because the quality is bad, even if it is 1080p, it will sound bad. Believe me man, i have been in their concerts, he hasn't changed.

David Byzewski yea man ik they're primarily thrash and metalcore but I'm also a big fan of classic black metal and I can hear some influences in the playing particularly in the intro and verse
That's sweat dripping off his head into his eyes, and he's blinking through it. When you play full sets for hours like that with bright 200+ watt light bulbs firing down on you and it's hot as hell, any drummer will walk away drenched.

Travis was a beast he created some badass drum fills and really hard to play, this guy is OK and really ruined the song the way he played it
His go to fill is double bass pedal? Boring, you can tell when he’s not going to be able to make a drum part he just uses the double bass pedal to fill in.

@@josebuzani2066 nick was never meant to be a band member... he was brought in when travis left to play shattering the skies above and ended up hanging round... travis had more groove but he could never keep up with Nick speed wise... in waves was written by nick and there are some absolutely huge pieces on that album that rival anything else done by the band in my opinion... it doesn matter anymore anyway because we now have alex and he is the best fit for the band and it's current trajectory that is available plus a much more technical player than all previous drummers... the one I wish they'd worked on more is matt Madiro... the sound he had with his kit was amazing to my ears
The faces Nick is pulling just looks comical and painful at the same time. So glad that when Alex plays it or any other trivium song it just seems so effortlessly and you can see the passion he puts in to it so clearly. Best trivium drummer in my opinion 😎

I still think that Ascendancy is their best ablum. I feel like I can listen to this record forever.
I will give it to Slipknot, they are insanely entertaining to watch perform live. I was able to see them at Mayhem Fest in Atlanta this past weekend. However, my votes for best bands in the fucking world go to Alter Bridge, Trivium, and BFMV. They all have such unique sounds, and I could listen for days without fail. Thats the sign of truly great music. Slipknot doesn't have enough great songs, I think I would get tired of them after a couple hours.

Alex is the best metal drummer in the world IMO but Nick is also very good. His problem is that he never played as even and tight at actual shows as he did in these live Chapman performances which I've never understood. Obviously he could do it, but at shows he always seemed to be all over the place.

Fun fact: All of Ascendancy was written in half a step flat, but there was an error with the recordings and they redid it in Drop D.
This was amazing when I saw them live at Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone! .. Mind you, all of their songs were amazing at that gig.. Even the support band Stone Gods were amazing!
