I so appreciated this video. The graph you showed reflected exactly how I’ve been feeling lately. Very inspired to try so many things, having tons tools and medias, and feeling so frustrated about not having time to explore all of it. Frustration that has translated into lack of action in my art making. Thank you for saying what you did, it came at a very good time for me. I really wanted to join the inktober challenge this year, and felt that I needed to dedicate a lot of time to it because I’m so slow at drawing. Your goal to only spend about 10 minutes a day. I feel makes it much more likely that you’ll do it and has giving me some encouragement to start the challenge halfway through the month and just slimit my time to about 10 or 15 minutes. Thank you! I started with a couple of big sweeping lines and then went where the whim took me, and ended up with a very colorful gum tree by a weaving footpath headed into the sky above a rising sun. I've been collecting fude-nib fountain pens & filling them with different coloured inks. Add a touch of water and it's a lot of fun! 😃
Yes, I love drawing with a stick but I especially like standing up, drawing with a feather tied to a crooked 3 ft twig dipped in Indian Ink. No control at all! Marvelous!
Very nice. I enjoyed watching you use various tools and love the idea of sticks, etc. I'm only using a micron pen and inktense pencils. I ordered a couple of Lamy pens and cartridges as well as a small set of bombay ink. I'm very amateur and am enjoying learning. Thank you for sharing your skills and ideas with me in Lake Villa,Illinois,US
J'adore!❤️ Simple and efficient! I chose something loose too, I think it removes a huge stress just doing so and like you mentioned, has more character 👌☺️ I'll post later today on IG 😊
I broke out of my normal and did a very loose sketch today, largely inspired by learning about looseness on this channel. I drew a baby elephant walking along in the path of its mother, so not a literal path but I felt it still fit with the prompt. My loose sketch still took me about two hours though. 😂 Baby steps. Still better than 8 hours. 😅

Absolutely love the result! 😍 And of course really enjoyed the process as well 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Now I have to find out if my ink is going to work with water. Thanks for the inspiration.
My pleasure!
I always follow your channel because I like it and I have improved a lot thanks to your teachings
Glad to hear that
Very nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
I've never thought to intentionally bleed the ink and then work back in wet-on-wet. I can't wait to play with that technique.
Have fun!!
Love it Toby! ☺️
Thank you!! 😁
it’s beautiful.
thank you :)
Brilliantly done. And all in under 15 minutes! I take about an hour to complete mine.
You need a shorter attention span!
Love it... make more videos like this please...
Thank you! Will do!
