Each of the three (four including Akali's "Baddest") K/DA songs were to represent each of the single members of their group. Also, Soyeon reprised her role as Akali in the LOL group "True Damage" with their song "Giants"
No idea if you know a little of their lore but in their true world Akali (Soyeon) is a rebellious assassin/ninja that doesn't want to follow rules. Ahri (Miyeon) is a magical fox girl who caused death and regrets it, she wants to be good and learn how to control her powers. Evelynn (Villain) is a primordial demon that feeds off of causing dread and suffering, she's 100% evil with zero remorse. And last Kai'Sa (Drum Go Dum) is a human girl that lost her entire village to monsters and ended up trapped in like a desolate underworld filled with those monsters and she survived alone for years by fusing with one. She's a survivor and wants to help that what happened to her doesn't happen to anyone else.
A very cool detail they added into "Villains" is that there is a scene where she walks and the ground is very uneven, with rocks and stuff on the ground, and you can see how her steps are actually shaky on the ground because of the rocks she steps on shift under her feet, causing her feet to wobble or almost buckle. I saw someone point it out somewhere else and now it's super obvious.
Each songs actually focus on each individual members of KDA. Evelyn for Villain, Ahri for I'll show You, Drum go Dum for Kaisa, and The Baddest for Akali. They pretty much showcase the members' personalities/vibes. Like for example, Evelynn is a demon in the lore thus, "Villain". And for I'll Show You 'lore' it's really just as simple as an idol trainee who was once alone (looking at her old pictures) finally reaching her dreams with the rest of the members. Drum go Dum showcase Kai'sa having the dancer role. You should react to Heartsteel and True Damage! We have Soyeon back in True Damage as Akali again :D
The moment I love most in I'll Show You is 20:11 when the spherical cage holding Ahri splits open looking (by no accident) like the lotus flower she was seated in previously (signifying achieving enlightenment), all nine of her tails showing as she reveals (and takes up) her full power, then the second look at 20:19 when it is fully open, you can see it has split into nine sections, mirroring her tails! As above, so below.
I'm sure plenty of people have mentioned it before, but the song Villain is all about Evelynn, who is essentially a demon that feeds on people's pain and she basically lures her victims in with her sexiness. Her voice lines in game get a bit racy, but the voice actress does a phenomenal job and her character theme is amazing too. It's this wonderfully eerie instrumental with this ghostly vocalization overtop. Idk, just from like over all character design standpoint, they've done a great job on her despite her basically being this fanservice-esque lust demon. Plus I like the dark vibes, sooo of the K/DA characters, she's my fave~!
Each of the mini album songs, except for More which is meant to show the combination of the 4 and show off the guest member Seraphine, represent 1 of the members of K/DA: The Baddest for Akali, Villain for Evelynn, Drum Go Dum for Kai'sa, and I'll Show You for Ahri. Riot wanted each of the songs to feel very distinct from each other to give the feeling of each of the characters. Something really cool about Villain is that its a song all about the character's, Evelynn, ability where she becomes invisible to her enemies until she's close to them and sneak attacks them, which is also why she don't have a clear shot of her and she's always in shadows until the end of the video. Drum Go Dum is meant to be fast paced to represent the character, Kai'sa, and her abilities which revolve around moving and attacking super fast. Its also the only video to show a real person because they wanted it to be a dance video since Kai'sa is the main dancer of the group. I'll Show You is actually about the character Ahri's struggle with being an idol in this alternate universe, Ahri had a skin called Popstar Ahri and in the story she didn't enjoy that time of being a solo idol with little say in what she could make for her music, so she left that and started to make a group with Evelynn a few years later and found Akali and Kai'sa to make the group. It also shows a news paper that says "One Hit Wonders" so Ahri wanted to show the Media that that they weren't done. Ahri also just had a lot of doubt for herself before she got the girls together to make the All Out mini album.
evelynn in league lore is a powerful succubus demon, so thats most likely why she was barelly seen in the villain video cuz they wanna capture the same mystery ominous vibe she has in the league lore.
Also bc these clips are actually random texture renders from the 3d artists that they decided shouldn't go to waste, and so they put it all in one video. Plus, they thought it fitted evelyn. And you can see at the 2nd part that the they're the same shots at the start but in different angles.
Yeah, it's definitely the more understated track on All Out, but MAN if it doesn't make you want to move... it's clearly meant to be more of something you'd spin at the club.
Riot has created 4 virtual bands KDA, true damage, heartsteel (the most recent one) and pentakill (the oldest one) All of the bands are incredible however I don't know if you are gonna like pentakill since it's metal but it would be interesting to see your reaction
I'm glad TH-cam recommends your video number one and number two. Something quite difficult because I'm a foreigner, but it happened and I'm very happy about it.
Didn't really care for the boy-group song.. was kinda long time ago or I put it past my memory.. but the fact that Riot got Imagine Dragons to make 2 songs for them, bring in Lil Nas X is amazing. Just letting you know though that you got less than 2 weeks to listen to their new championship song (KDA started as promotion for new skins in the game but made soo good impact that they became the song for their world championship (live performance as well). The championship is next saturday (nov 19th). I don't know what's most impressive about Riot... them creating music at their level or them being able to hold LoL alive for this long time and make us (me) casual players looking forward for year after year to see what new worlds championship -song they're gonna drop. This years song "GODS ft. NewJeans" is kinda kicking it.
Beside K/DA, Riot has two other music groups; True Damage and, newest band, HEARTSTEEL. Both of these groups have only one song: "GIANTS" and "PARANOIA". You could also listen to this year's world's anthem "GODS" with New Jeans! Edit: I forgot about Pentakill, another group. They make hard rock!
Idk if you have yet but Madison has a bunch of music out and I feel personally you should react to it. She has a bunch of singles Melodies, Valentine, Unbreakable, All for love, Something Sweet(unreleased I think but on TH-cam and SoundCloud but a bop) Hurts Like Hell, All Day and Night, Dear Society, Make You Mine. 2 movie tracks Room for You and I Have Never Felt More Alive. a ep called as she pleases. And 2 albums Life Support and Silence Between Songs. She’s one of my fave artists and makes bops and gorgeous songs.
For me, “I’LL SHOW YOU” is the best of the ALL OUT EP because it’s K/DA Ahri’s love letter to her members and to anyone who has doubted her and her team. For me it shows vulnerability and honesty that we rarely see, specially for these characters.
I didn't like it at first but I like it more and more as time goes on. It's a great uplifting vibe. The Baddest and Villain are kinda downers and ego centric.
Took me a while, but I've come around on I'll Show You a bit. I thought it had sounded very generic at the time, and such an empowering song being matched with mopey Ahri probably didn't help my first impressions. It's still probably my least favorite K/DA song, but the gap's not the chasm it used to be.
more twice (and other kpop groups!) reactions on my patreon :)

Baily Sok was only 16 when she danced for the video Drum Go Dum. She is a phenomenal talent.
Not to mention she choreographed Pop/Stars. She's absolutely insane
@@ot7biasedmashups it was actually Ellen Kim
@@zcxxxuuuss6584 Yeah, Bailey was only one of the dancers in her skeleton crew/choreography demo

Drum Go Dum is a really fun song, I love some nice Drum&Base - and this one comes with a great switch-up.

In Villain, i will never recognize which is Madison's voice and Kim Petras'
Same 😮
I suppose it makes sense they sound the same since they are both representing one character.
that's cuz they singing in the same key to fit the character lol, their voices are very different
madison sings the first half then kim then both of them during the last chorus
drum go dum : i haven't heard anyone requested this to me.
i expected that

Villain might be Riot Music's most adventurous song they've put out, and I love it.
Love kda they are amazing ever song they make. Just breath taken amazing ❤❤ the one that dancing she the person has that character.
TWICE members that participate on this one is JIHYO, NAYEON, SANA, and (with a little bit of) CHAEYOUNG
You would probably love "Giants" by one of their other fictional group "True damage", especially since "Soyeon" from (G)-idle is in it too

Liked your reaction to Villain specially at the "time to roll the dice"
It is the song I listen to while doing dishes XD
I'll Show You is the least my style out of K/DA's songs, but it never fails to make me cry
i´ll show you is so good!!!

Totally react to Paranoia by Heartseel. Baekhyun is in it as Ezreal.
I love u reaccion, you need to see the boyband, I hope u enjoy them ✨
villain is the best league of legends song. i said what i said.
I agree
More Twice please
More Twice everyday 😀
You should check the 1million x KDA dance covers, very good. I believe they did I'll show you and More (ft Soyeon and Miyeon for More)
Bekuh boom are producer for mostly blackpink songs
You don't need the lore it shows you lol
some lines sound a bit forced, like in the chorus
"not afraid to die" doesn't go up down up down well
for what i remember "I'll show you" was the most hated K/DA song for the reason that its not giving the K/DA vibe

all the KDA songs are great ... and then you have I'll Show You. It just doesn't mesh well with anything else KDA
