THE BADDEST - Akali - strong, edgy, yet sweet, the "rebel" of the group. The voice for the short "interviews" are probably their VAs in the game, not their singing voices

Also not sure I agree with ahris matching her style. She came in More being very queenly and elegent vib, and I can say that was true in baddest as well. But in Ill Show You it gives a much more innocent/vulnerable feeling while trying to overcome something. But as a character whos canon is literally stealing peoples souls and charming people, its a bit hard to sell me on. I dont mind her singing pop, but this style was off for me. This isnt about whether the song was good or bad, just how well it fits.

Out of all the 3 songs released, Villain is my favorite, i wish they would make a MV for it. It would be amazing but in all i was not disappointed in waiting for this. Every song is totally worth it and adds more personality to the chars and its just great

I love that they brought back the champion VA's for this. It would be easy to just ask the main singers (The ones who sung Pop/stars) but this definitely sells the feel that they ARE the champs that we play in game.
I think you should read the official individual comic of each character and by then will make each song have a sense. Villain is for Evelynn, Drum go Dum is Kai'sa's, and I'll Show You is Ahri's.

IIRC Kai'sa was born in South Africa, grew up in England and travelled the world as a dancer - so it makes sense for her to have an English/South African accent and sound pretty worldly.

So the short messages... Evelynn and Ahri sounds like how their voices are in game exactly. Kai'sa sounds like she has an Australian/British accent in game so it makes sense that it might sound exactly like her in game but it is similar in tone. Akali's sounds far far away from the in game one. Akali's voice in game is deep and kinda edgy but not really and it also surprised me that she sounds cute here when she should be the "YO, wassup?" type of girl since she's the rapper and that is her usual lingo supposedly. You see the reason why Evelynn's song sounds like there is a eerie vibe is because she is a demon in game and she has this ability to go invisible in game but also be seen so they kind of portrayed this in the audio. Kai'sa in the game has a living suit, let's just say that she got into a weird portal where it's rumored to kill anyone who falls in and she falls in there as a little kid. Her Dad tried to do everything to save her but returned empty handed and corrupted. This suit grew with her and she used it to get out. Going to KDA Kai'sa, it ties in nicely because kai'sa character is more of a pro-people kind of person so dance more than singing makes a lot more sense. Okay so I'm addressing the elephant in the room as the last one. So Akali in game is badass sounding, in KDA and in her League Universe bio(League's official website for lore AND alternative universe lore..ehem..insert KDA). I know I won't get to hear it a lot but I am disappointed on Akali's short message in spotify. Like she isn't supposed to sound THAT cute nor should she talk normally I mean as a rapper, you would at least expect her to say, "YO" or "Whattup?" or have a rapper slang like "Kali in da house!" but I heard nothing like that and to add insult to injury her voice sounds like the voice that Seraphine might have had and she was just a featured artist!

Overall these songs are great. It is implied that each of the songs are getting a music video? On twitter/instagram there's three images that look like they could be in a music video. If this is the case, I seriously can't wait to check them out.

okAY i LOVE that the main voice of Eve from the game is the one speaking her as well, the akali one MADE ME SAD cuz she sounds better with her current in game voice actor. The Kai'sa and Ahri ones are really nice too! :) overall happy Not So HAPPy about the Akali voice actor choice.

I love that they brought back the champion VA's for this. It would be easy to just ask the main singers (The ones who sung Pop/stars) but this definitely sells the feel that they ARE the champs that we play in game.

I think you should read the official individual comic of each character and by then will make each song have a sense. Villain is for Evelynn, Drum go Dum is Kai'sa's, and I'll Show You is Ahri's.

So the short messages...
Evelynn and Ahri sounds like how their voices are in game exactly. Kai'sa sounds like she has an Australian/British accent in game so it makes sense that it might sound exactly like her in game but it is similar in tone. Akali's sounds far far away from the in game one. Akali's voice in game is deep and kinda edgy but not really and it also surprised me that she sounds cute here when she should be the "YO, wassup?" type of girl since she's the rapper and that is her usual lingo supposedly.
You see the reason why Evelynn's song sounds like there is a eerie vibe is because she is a demon in game and she has this ability to go invisible in game but also be seen so they kind of portrayed this in the audio.
Kai'sa in the game has a living suit, let's just say that she got into a weird portal where it's rumored to kill anyone who falls in and she falls in there as a little kid. Her Dad tried to do everything to save her but returned empty handed and corrupted. This suit grew with her and she used it to get out. Going to KDA Kai'sa, it ties in nicely because kai'sa character is more of a pro-people kind of person so dance more than singing makes a lot more sense.
Okay so I'm addressing the elephant in the room as the last one. So Akali in game is badass sounding, in KDA and in her League Universe bio(League's official website for lore AND alternative universe lore..ehem..insert KDA). I know I won't get to hear it a lot but I am disappointed on Akali's short message in spotify. Like she isn't supposed to sound THAT cute nor should she talk normally I mean as a rapper, you would at least expect her to say, "YO" or "Whattup?" or have a rapper slang like "Kali in da house!" but I heard nothing like that and to add insult to injury her voice sounds like the voice that Seraphine might have had and she was just a featured artist!
