I don't know if Zappa woulda actually. Zappa was pretty engrossed in his own shit. He likely surely woulda respected em and their creativity and desire to constantly create and not pay mind to genre or any societal horseshit controlling em. But zappa was pretty vocal especially in his later years about how he didn't listen to anything else, just wanted to create and work his own music
@@davidlumgair3499 agree, I've long felt they and zappa have a LOT in common. The disregard for genre constraints, the desire to fuck expectations and just do whatever the hell they want creatively, the genius musicianship, and of course the quirky, often goof lyrical content
@jackburton2680 yeah there isn't too much out there that's like that. I wish zappa was around now, the live shows and sound quality would make it unreal, tha ks mate
@@lukerawkford3970 They're all friends. You can just tell. They also sent an e-mail for the pre-sale of their next set of shows and you can see him hanging out with them in the mountains somewhere in a gif attached. Just one example I saw recently. If he did that to some random roadie it'd be a dick move maybe, sure, but it's safe to assume they're friends so the context is different
"Get out here or you're fired!"
"He's from Belgium, like Dr. Evil."
Hahahahahahahahaha!!!

Amazing show. It started pouring rain during the 30 minute dripping tap closer.

Let's be clear: the apex of this performance was the Maradona jersey 💙
Frank zappa would have loved this band
Dude fr. Never thought of that comparison before but it does make sense

Joe being a douche when he tells the techie he'll be fired if he doesn't come on stage
Typical Aussie shit-talking he wasnt serious
I thought it was pretty funny
Is it pretty funny to joke about firing your roadie?

It's pretty clearly a joke mate. Gaspard's been with them for years, it's safe to say he's an extra member of the band at this point.
