Darth Nihilus is by far my favorite Sith Lord. I really liked how he became nothing more than a dark spirit that fed on force energy and was powerful enough to consume entire worlds
This is probably the saddest and most suffering story of a Sith Lord I've heard. He cheated death twice, he lost everything and just wanted to die, but he couldn't contain his hunger.
Indeed. Sion by contrast didn't want to die and focused intently on his pain and anger to remain alive, yet while he wasn't stricken with an endless hunger as Nihilus was, he soon came to realize that the immortality he gained through his pain only made him a prisoner in his own body.
If we ever get movies about the era of the old republic, make sure that Kennedy/ Abrahams/ Johnsson will NOT be the ones making them...they already damaged the franchise as it is.

@@CaptainAmercia that’s because activision rushed the game developers of kotor, in reality, if it was given more time, he would have gotten a better ending or did not die at all.
Darth Nihilus is easily my most favourite Sith Lord. Essentially he is the Dark Side Sith equivalent of the Light Side female Jedi Exile called Meetra Surik, as they were both "wounds in the force" created from the activation of the Mass Shadow Generator on Malachor V. Because they were both wounds in the force, Surik was probably the only one who could outlast his ability to force drain, thereby making him vulnerable to her considering he was average at best as a duelist. My biggest question about Nihilus is during the game it is referenced that he cares nothing for the Sith and their teachings, yet he acts as the Sith influence behind General Vaklu's attempted coup of Queen Talia on Onderon? His motive is far more primitive than that of say Darth Sidious, who manipulated the Republic behind the scenes in order to attain power and destroy the Jedi Order, but Nihilus' character is set up to be more primitive in nature with the desire to drain force sensitive individuals to sate his "hunger", so it doesn't make a lot of sense that he would meddle in political affairs on a planet. I suppose the only thing that would explain Nihilus' involvement in the Onderon Civil War would be that he had some of his followers perform a ritual in an ancient Sith Tomb on Dxun, the nearby moon of Onderon, in order to feed on the dark side energy available, so the siding with Vaklu was probably nothing more than a ruse to gain access to the tomb on the moon. At the end of the day he is still a terrific looking and completely badass villain and it is a crying shame that he and the other characters from the Old Republic era are not part of Disney's canon.
Died like a bitch tho in Kotor 2 which was very disappointing, never understand why fans loved him so much as he was so useless doing nothing throughout Kotor 2 and then died by the hands of the player
@@CaptainAmercia he died that way because the Jedi Exile was like him - a wound in the force - which made her immune to his force drain ability. His character was meant to be lurking in the background looking for ways to feed his hunger which is why he is never seen by the Exile until she confronts him on the Ravager above the planet Telos IV
I love the idea that within his robes and mask was nothing but the empty, yet power darkness. Great video 👍 #suggestion Are there any Sith holocrons still existing in current canon?
My all time favourite Sith lord. His story perfectly shows how pain can corrupt a man. But, he was so badass and powerful, not only had a great story. He deserves a movie.
Nihilus needs and deserves a good origins story too (which delves into his pre-Nihilus days until that Mass Shadow Generator struck his home planet, and altered his life forever)!
The thing about Nihlous is that he was virtually unstoppable. He would, as his name implies, utterly annihilate the majority of any other Sith or Jedi: his powers were so incredible. If not for Meetra Surik, the ONLY person who could stop him, he would possibly still be ruling the known galaxy.
Valkorion is basically explained by every Vitiate video out there, so not much to say, only you have lost 1/3 of your suggestion. However the rest would be cool
I love these origin stories Nihilus is one of my fave sith lords the lord of hunger, the tear in the dark side he's soo cool and his Saber is beautiful
Probably my favorite part of his lore is that he fed on the entire planet of Katarr, killing everyone except Visas. Showing just how strong and powerful his hunger truly was.
KOTOR would make a great movie for disney. Man/woman starts using force powers without training? Check A diverse cast? Check A force against the republic? Check A bald "supreme leader"? Check A super weapon that needs to be destroyed? Check
Darth Nihilus is my favorite of the non-movie Sith (Members of the Sith who do not appear in the movies and only in books, video games, etc.). I love how he’s just a black hole as you may say who only wants to devour every person, every planet, every system, every galaxy and every universe.
What I love most about him is that while there are stronger people I star wars lore, had he not been stopped he would have became not only more powerful but he would keep growing and feeding literally becoming death incarnate.
He has his soul bound to an object causing him to live forever, I thought the skeletal part was just due to the rotting of flesh caused by living for hundreds of years. However in this case he just lost his body entirely. I don't know much about spectre so you may be right, really cool regardless. One of the many reasons this guy is my favorite Sith.
Classic lich rules in DnD among other things require liches to continually feed on souls to maintain their phylactery (physical object that binds them to the material world). They don't and they fade away or just essentially degrade into that object until it's fed. Same as Nihilus.
By far, one of the most dangerous beings who have ever lived/lives in the Starwars Universe. If he hadn't been stopped, he would've evolved into something so powerful that could've consumed the entire Galaxy and beyond. Truly a comic entity.
As you look in to the eye slots of his mask, you see only the abyss but what you dont realise is the abyss looks back at to you as all life fades. How many epithets can you think of Nihilus? Lifes End, The Devourer and the Sith of the Deep are some of my suggestions.
So there is a way to bring the sith back. Somebody could find this mask, wear it, then darth nihilus possesses their body and bring back the sith order. Maybe this is Palpatines last trick up his sleeve to preserve the sith. Maybe snoke is the guardian of the mask and is finding the right one to wear it... like kylo ren or possibly rey. So many possibilities
You know I’m all about the good guys prevailing and root for them and all, but man so many of the villains seem so much cooler in a way. A large part of this perception in my mind I’m sure is how cool they tend to look. Like villains almost always have a passion for fashion and I love that for them. Nihilus’ mask and swooshing draped black robes are just 👌
i know this is far from anything that could happen, it wouldnt make any sense and i wouldnt know how they could pull it off. but a movie with starkiller as the apprentice of darth nihilus would be dope. both are the definition of OP.
Snoke is from the Old Republic era, and he feeds off of the life force of the Force, like Darth Nihilus. He's going to be the link to Old Republic Star Wars canon films. He may even be Nihilus.
Probably one of the coolest baddie that the Star Wars Universe has ever created. In KOTR 2, when they described him consuming all life on a planet and sparing Visas to be his servant, it gave me goosebumps at the thought of his power, malevolence, and badass-ness. Those were the days when the Star Wars Universe still had the ability to surprise you. To transport you in to its world. To amaze you and let your imagination run wild. I mean, a Sith lord that can consume a planet's worth of life with out firing a shot just by flying by the planet makes you imagine what else this monster COULD do. Plus, he has the badass style to go with his back story and abilities. He pegs the cool meter.
I do like that while Nihilus was defined as Sith Lord, he didn't care about the Sith at all, it was just that he was so intuned with the dark side that calling him anything else would be pointless.
Revan Orchestrated the plan of the destruction of Malachor V by launch that weapon but Revan ordered Meetra as his top general to launch and ask Bao-Dur to create that weapon
I first discovered Nihilus when I was a kid, through the 2005 'Ultimate Visual Guide' book. That was also how I discovered Kotor. Anyway, I was instantly fascinated by Nihilus, his mask looked so scary and awesome at the same time, and it was cool to know that there were other Darth's in Star Wars other than Maul, Tyranus and Vader. When I finally got KOTOR II some time in early 2008, and I saw that first scene where Nihilus is talking to Visas, his voice chilled me to the bone. Nihilus carries such a dark, ominous presence, he's the Grim Reaper of Star Wars.
What makes him in my opinion the best Sith Lord is that he proves that to be a good Jedi or Sith, you don’t need to have good saber skills cause what makes you strong is your force ability.
His story would make an excellent movie. One would hope that Disney will wizen up and get on a Nihlus movie 🙏🏾. Just use the same story. It’ll be creepy and a bit scary, but I would love to see that on the big screen, or even animated.
Sparrow A lot of these what ifs are unlikely because the completely change the Star Wars story. This particular what if is kind of interesting because Ahsoka said " I won't leave you not this time". This quote can be taken a number of different ways. The avenue that I think would be the most interesting is if she joins him and becomes a Sith apprentice of some sort.
There are few escapes from the pain of reality, food is one, but in its extreames consumerism destroys worlds, stars, and even black holes... Nihilus became the incarnate of gluttony

real life farmer I think it’s somewhere on the ancient sith home planet
That would be absolutely awesome if Darth Nihilus was brought into current Star Wars movies...😏
I love the idea of force “wounds” and I believe nihilus was the perfect embodiment of a force wound
To my knowledge, he is one of, if not the greatest Wounds in the Force in Galactic History!
Because that is what he really was...A wound in the Force.
The force wound who put themselves in cabonite waiting for nihilus to return: =)
The droids taking care of him : da fuck he planning
Rian? No, jj Abrams did made force awakens a decent movie, but Rian? No, just no.
Jon Favreau
@@Nansy_ yes, i liked A Newer Hope as well
NansyMansy force awakens was still terrible.
Dave Filoni should
I'd love to see Nihilus return in the new movies, just to watch all these new baddies squirm in terror of a power they can't even comprehend.
Most likely get killed again like the bitch he is
@@CaptainAmercia dude wtf ? They needed another one like him to defeat him Meetra Surik , how did he went like a bitch ? In canon (well the canon that was before the abominaition we have today ) they fought for literly days untill Visa Marr scraficed herself for Meetra Surik and weakening Nihilus spirit even then they barely destroyed him to be honest it was more luck for Meetra Surik and her gang (in the game well you level up to a point that every enemy is a joke soo your argumemt is null)
@@CaptainAmercia that’s because activision rushed the game developers of kotor, in reality, if it was given more time, he would have gotten a better ending or did not die at all.
I SHALL FIND AND WEAR HIS MASK TO RESURRECT HIM
Considering what this guys has for Breakfeast, Lunch and Dinner. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaah no.
I would do it I would want to be Darth nihlus so he'll yaaaa
He will possess you guys.
@@danielhamilton351 The motherfucker's gotta find me first.
Make me yours Daddy nihilus
His appearance always creeped me out.
She’s Thicc though
You know... Visas Mart is a good snack
Yeahhh, behind his mask you can see his face. A black eye-less spectre. Or what he remembers it like after chaining his spirit.
Noel Burland what a fanny such a beautiful death
@Slender Man ive seen him in other comments too just trashing people even after a year :
They sould be glad that they are not disneys cannon tbh
Oh, my gosh. Poor Nihilus. I'm so sorry. He's my favourite now.

Great video 👍
#suggestion Are there any Sith holocrons still existing in current canon?
mario navas there was one in Rebels opened by Ezra
Robo_Destroyer / Darth Troller The creator of that holocron is not yet confirmed tho, I think. But thank you!
I would put the mask on for his sake. He's my hero
We sacrifice for the ones we love.
@@d.dementedengineerc99isurf26 we sacrifice the ones we love, to make the most difficult choices
Very cool KOTOR 2 Sith character
He should have stayed away from Telos
Oh, now you want to talk about it?
Dat anima is addicting.
Carth Onasi Fuck you Carth.
Bruh this man was only looking for a snack
just like you were only looking for lightsabers
You should trade a Snickers with his lightsaber
Nihilus was and still IS the most powerful force using entity that ever existed
Let's just hope he doesn't become cannon cause the character is powerful and honestly will be a horror film
What about the Ones or Abeloth?
He isn't.
Abeloth, is way more powerful than nihalus, although would make an interesting 5 minute duel.
Viatae The Ones Ableloth they were far stronger in the Force and far more dangerous
The thing about Nihlous is that he was virtually unstoppable. He would, as his name implies, utterly annihilate the majority of any other Sith or Jedi: his powers were so incredible. If not for Meetra Surik, the ONLY person who could stop him, he would possibly still be ruling the known galaxy.
he'd eat it all, he wouldn't rule over anything.
Do the story of valkorian, his sons, and the eternal empire
BloooEmericaz There are tons of videos on Valkorion already. I think he should look into the dark council members. Like Marr and Jadus.
only good thing about that is the CGIs =/
definitely Jadus would be an interesting video, as "the best sith my [Valkorion's] empire ever produced"
BloooEmericaz What about Vaylin?
Valkorion is basically explained by every Vitiate video out there, so not much to say, only you have lost 1/3 of your suggestion. However the rest would be cool
I love these origin stories Nihilus is one of my fave sith lords the lord of hunger, the tear in the dark side he's soo cool and his Saber is beautiful
👍👑 Someone get this guy a Snickers!
I am groot
Connor Groot maybe the best TH-cam comment I've read, 😂
He'd rather annihilate the Snickers' planet.
LOL
Dude this comment just made my good day even better
Good one.
Good call on quoting Kreia when describing him. She puts it better than pretty much anyone else could.
Probably my favorite part of his lore is that he fed on the entire planet of Katarr, killing everyone except Visas. Showing just how strong and powerful his hunger truly was.
Do Darth Bane.

KOTOR would make a great movie for disney.
Man/woman starts using force powers without training? Check
A diverse cast? Check
A force against the republic? Check
A bald "supreme leader"? Check
A super weapon that needs to be destroyed? Check
Nah the story is way to competent, Disney can't have that.
so TFA wasn't just ANH remake?
Darth Nihilus is my favorite of the non-movie Sith (Members of the Sith who do not appear in the movies and only in books, video games, etc.). I love how he’s just a black hole as you may say who only wants to devour every person, every planet, every system, every galaxy and every universe.
What I love most about him is that while there are stronger people I star wars lore, had he not been stopped he would have became not only more powerful but he would keep growing and feeding literally becoming death incarnate.
The best Sith Lord
Atomatronics 2000 A Sith Lord? Are you sure?
Thanks^^
not the best, surely the most poweful, as in the most potential, "feed on the whole galaxy" i want to see abeloth top that; destroying is easy.....
Darth Jar Jar Blinks???
But I agree Darth Nihilus is second!!
''Darth Jar Jar Binks'' Lmao i like how people actually believe in this silly theory.
One of the most powerful Sith Lords? Must be related to Coleman Trebor.
Captain Spooder stop
Stfu
oh my god, Spooder
Please no
I know it's bait i wont take the bait
So he is basically a Lich?
A spectre. Liches have skeletal bodies (at least they did back in HoMM III and in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven)
Nemenon might be a genie.
naah, just drug junkie.
Classic lich rules in DnD among other things require liches to continually feed on souls to maintain their phylactery (physical object that binds them to the material world). They don't and they fade away or just essentially degrade into that object until it's fed.
Same as Nihilus.
His backstory is tragic if not sad which is why I've always related with him.
He definitely deserves a full origins story...
Hey I've also got a nihilus PFP
"The less said of that one, the better even a stray thought may draw him." Darth Traya

@@Draculas-knight this is knowlage
That would kind of be an immediate bad end.
The entire video felt like a storyteller telling the story of an old folktale. This was very interactive, 10/10
There is no other music that perfectly fits in with the video like the one here.
By far, one of the most dangerous beings who have ever lived/lives in the Starwars Universe. If he hadn't been stopped, he would've evolved into something so powerful that could've consumed the entire Galaxy and beyond. Truly a comic entity.
Fuq YEAH FINALLY DARTH NIHILUS!!!!!!!THANKS WAVE👍
Yay!!!!
So many possibilities
there are many fake mask of him which makes it hard to find the real one
Nihilus didnt care for sith. He would just consume all life including sith.
After I've seen the Rise of Skywalker, I feel really bad that your theory didn't become true.
The real mask would be lost in space, no?
@@senorkaktusz5940 me too lol
Low key I'm really loving his mask.
You know I’m all about the good guys prevailing and root for them and all, but man so many of the villains seem so much cooler in a way. A large part of this perception in my mind I’m sure is how cool they tend to look. Like villains almost always have a passion for fashion and I love that for them. No way man! Disney needs to let go of the franchise! They've ruined enough already!
Nihilus, eat a snickers. You become a life draining ghost when you're hungry.
Definitely my favorite Sith
i know this is far from anything that could happen, it wouldnt make any sense and i wouldnt know how they could pull it off. but a movie with starkiller as the apprentice of darth nihilus would be dope. both are the definition of OP.
Best sith ever he deserves a film
Snoke is from the Old Republic era, and he feeds off of the life force of the Force, like Darth Nihilus. He's going to be the link to Old Republic Star Wars canon films. He may even be Nihilus.
Welp.....
You don't know what you're talking about if Snoke was Nihilus, the resistance would have been wiped from existence.
Well too bad he’s another generic villain
One of my favorite star wars characters
Ye Dude Pretty Awesome!! :D Never Can be Stoped!!!
Damn, he was a dead man coping by feeding on the living. That’s fucking terrifying and badass at the same time.
The galaxy was like a fridge to him!
I just imagine him saying: "Hmmm... should I eat a cold planet like Hoth or a hot planet like Mustafar?"
“And what entrees I should eat too? maybe some savoury Jedi? Or tart sith? Hmm....So many choices”
Revan was the one who activated the mass shadow generator
Revan Orchestrated the plan of the destruction of Malachor V by launch that weapon but Revan ordered Meetra as his top general to launch and ask Bao-Dur to create that weapon
Revan and Meetra : "What have you become?"
Nihilus: "I am what you made me."
Definitely my favorite Sith lord! I can relate as his plight reminds me of how it felt to rely on self medication to deal with mental illness.
Nihilus was as addicted to the force as your neighborhood junkie was addicted to dope!
@@mrconfusion87 Exactly! Too bad he couldn't learn moderation...
My favorite sith of all time.
Nihilus carries such a dark, ominous presence, he's the Grim Reaper of Star Wars.
...
Have you ever hear the fortune of Obi Wan the Master of the highgrounds??
😂
He is by far my favorite sith lord then Reven then dooku then sidious. Good video ty
Powers of this magnitude are very intriguing and humbling
What makes him in my opinion the best Sith Lord is that he proves that to be a good Jedi or Sith, you don’t need to have good saber skills cause what makes you strong is your force ability.
He isint a Sith Lord he just hangry
His story would make an excellent movie. One would hope that Disney will wizen up and get on a Nihlus movie 🙏🏾. Just use the same story. It’ll be creepy and a bit scary, but I would love to see that on the big screen, or even animated.
What if Ahsoka joined Vader at the End of Season 2 of Rebels #Suggestion
Sparrow A lot of these what ifs are unlikely because the completely change the Star Wars story. This particular what if is kind of interesting because Ahsoka said " I won't leave you not this time". This quote can be taken a number of different ways. The avenue that I think would be the most interesting is if she joins him and becomes a Sith apprentice of some sort.
benharperfan2 that insult didn't make much sense.
Sparrow then what was it?
Sparrow wait a minute I wasn't even talking to you in the first place get the fuck out of here 😂

There are few escapes from the pain of reality, food is one, but in its extreames consumerism destroys worlds, stars, and even black holes... Nihilus became the incarnate of gluttony
