Not sure why Panasonic exited the vacuum market, especially here in the US. No matter what line of Panasonic vacuum we had from the Platinum Plus TRIforce to the most budget machine they offered, you couldn’t go wrong with a Panasonic. I owned a Platinum Plus TRIforce and is still the best vacuum ever owned.
There was too uch market saturation, they couldnt make enough sales to justify the cost. Also Panasonic still exists in the US market - they have made vacuums for Riccar and Carpet Pro and other Tacony made uprights.
I have the same vacuum in see through blue in the non remote control version similar tho the one before the uprights its definitly not hepa the hepa cover is dusty the bag design is horrible there is no tube that enters the bag it presses the lid to the bag so it leaks ALOT of dust
