FYI: I'm a millennial. My family bought this and ... It worked! I wouldn't say it produced amazing tasting food, but it wasn't at all bad. We weren't terrible picky with our food so that must've helped too. Our house had a small kitchen so it, and other kitchen appliances, were kept on our fine dining room table for storage. It was a beloved piece of equipment that was used many times.

Can anybody recommend how to cook chicken legs and make them nice and crispy in this thing? Do I just put them in one of the cooking baskets I got with this machine? What kind of seasonings should I use?

In the basket with alittle fresh lemon juice and pepper. Or with sprigs of rosemary or oregano.

Drumsticks are in the basket as I write. January 13, 2024. Last year I bought the large digital 5000 series one at a thrift store for $15. Came with 8 kabob rods, gear wheels and spit rods, the large basket, the platform, drip pans, warming dish and cover. Grab one when you see one!

1250 watts is less than most hair dryers. Umm a hair dryer isn't on for an hour either. And baby back ribs are "great" for a high protein low carb diet lol. The BBQ sauce is loaded with carbs.
