Quite, no one just puts bread dough in the oven without proofing it first, and why would it be cheaper than using a bread maker? The ingredient costs would be the same.
@@dillxdough Never? Really? I got the magic bullet, although it was a set sold at Costco (I didn’t order it through the tv’s commercial/phone number). It’s a nifty product that I still use to this day.
So it's a food processor with a liquidiser attachment, and a fairly flimsy looking bowl given the way it flexes when doing the dough. Last time I checked our Philips food processor could do all it can do (except the mincing), plus it has two juicer attachments (citrus and centrifugal) and multiple blades for slicing, chipping and grating. Another bit of a con their using is using the wattage of the motor to define how powerful it is, we don't know the efficiency or HP of the motor so it's a bit meaningless. It's quite expensive too for a lower end machine.
It’s just so ugly and cheap looking. It looks like something that came from anihC (spelled backwards). I have a lifetime warranty on my Vitamix motor. I found it funny that they didn’t mention it at all how much extra it would cost to get the pasta maker attachments/kit in order to use it to create pasta. So they want people to pay $300 plus shipping and handling and then who knows how much extra to get the full package for making pasta with it. And this was obviously made no later than the 90s (since it comes with a VHS tape) - so it isn’t like $300 in today’s money. That’s super cool that your Phillips food processor can do juicing! My Breville I just got can do dicing, but not juicing! I hadn’t heard of any food processors having that capability before. Btw, what did you mean by “chipping?” You mean making snow cones with ice? Lastly, what does HP stand for, regarding the motor?
