Great video - I didn't even realise there was a little India! As a brit you can't go too long without having an indian meal :) I also thought Jason was a good addition
Went there for the first time last July and it was great. I went during the day too but will try the evening next time. Jason must be a cheaper video date than Malee
Yo!... Can somebody tell me how I'm supposed to do my thang without Peetah?... Going without the livestreams is tougher than quitting smoking cold turkey... I've got the shakes (DTs) going through withdrawal... even the ladyboys have noticed there is something wrong with me...
Tuesday Nov 7. Evening watched your video. In the morning did one of my regular trips to Pahurat and the Indian emporium. Arrived by boat via Rachawong, left by train at SamYort.Bought Samosas at that corner Samosa stall, bought some Indian groceries down the lane by the Samosa corner and ate Indian food at a stall behind the Emporium and at a stall in the food court at the top floor of the Emporium. Strange to see my day echoed in your video.Your perspective as a fairly new visitor to this area gives a refreshing perspective to seeing Bangkok's Little India, Thanks. Interesting!
Indian food is great but rich and heavy. Used to have this all you can eat Indian restaurant near my work and a bunch of us would go for lunch and we would all be struggling to stay awake for the rest of the day.
Cant beat an indian although ive never eaten one daytime, jason seems to know his stuff and good to see someone new in a video although i dont want to see him do an exercise video in the park, leave that to mali 😂
The Royal Enfield bike is original Peter. Royal Enfield still exists. The bikes are handmade in India, and there are distributors in Thailand as well as the UK. Very nice bikes, with classic looks.
@@DaltonMirklestein officially BSA ceased to be in the 70's, when it merged to become Norton Villiers Triumph and from what I could find online, it would appear that BSA has very recently been resurrected, the rights to the name having been acquired. I don't know anything about the recent bike launches, though their website shows dealerships predominantly in the UK and Europe.
@@jacksoncornbreadmcbride6763 I can see the appeal of the Himalayan 450, my favourite was the classic 350, until the Super Meteor 650 came out. I'm currently on four wheels rather than 2.
Peter if you went to that restraunt area at night time then you probably struggle to get a seat without waiting few hours in a Que 😤. Great video mate 👍👍
Nice video. Wish you made these videos earlier. I wasted a lot of money for crappy indian food on shukumvit road. The royal enfields are of poor quality. For instance the tyres are not tubeless. if a small nail punctures the tyre it can lead to burst. imagine something like that happening on a highway. Literally happened to many people. It wont be smooth if you cross 70kmph. I used to own one but i sold it. Too many trips to the mechanic. However, they always look amazing. I heard the new models are somewhat better.
Royal Enfield are killing it nowadays . Theyve got a brilliant 650 twin in 3 or 4 different guises and theyve just brought out a new 452 single dual purpose bike thats a real world beater .
I wanted to ask how is Jason roaming around bkk carefree with a girlfriend... Was he married and divorced? Never married? I don't want to ever get married.. It would help out if you can please get some of these regular questions, Financials... to all guests...
As to your question, yes, I was married once, but it ended very bitter between the ex and my outlaws that's what call them.Glad that was a long time ago and I have moved on.Yes I have a Thai Girlfriend and she is a very nice lady ,she 46 and I'm 61 she happy and I'm happy with that age . Bangkok is so big. I think it will take years to see the whole of Bangkok.I'm just glad I fell in love with Thailand with my first trip back in 2022 February when we were still under covid rules.
After watching this vlog I went to little India and Mamas....Awful ..I will never go back...food and service was terrible...I went with my partner and daughter last Sundays...I was chasing starters and drinks throughout the meal....my smoothie arrived at the end of the meal !....The place was busy ...but not packed...the food was disappointing too.
Yes I totally agree I wish you'd have watched my live stream I couldn't say much on the video but I said exactly the same as what you said when I did my live stream the food was awful the service wasn't too bad when we were there I asked them to make it spicy for me and it was very mild plus it was sweet and nothing like the other curries I'd order I'll never go back there as well
Truly outstanding! Great video quality and a nice choice of background music. The only thing missing was the cost of tuk-tuk from the train to Mama. I agree that Jason is a very likable fellow.
Thanks for the info. I'm American Hindu and love Indian food. I was in Bangkok in 2010 12 now Been in Cambodia 13 years. I didn't like the city so stayed 8 months on Koh Samet Isle close to Bangkok. I will look for that when in Bangkok
Peter- love the channel, especially the stories. Where on earth do you get the girls in the thumbnail pics and are they ‘enhanced’- they all seem to have one thing in common!
Google subtitles came up with cong which I hadn't heard before Peter. Changed the spelling to khong and discovered it's Thai for canal. Mama looks like a nice place but I wonder where the locals go for a cheap Indian restaurant experience?
Another great informative video Peter. Do you know whether you can take a river taxi boat from Sukhumvit Soi 3 to that Klong in Little India? Cheers, Archie
Great video Pete. I’m always looking for good Indian food in Bangkok and will certainly give this area a look in December. Once again disappointing that it wasn’t hot but it looked great unlike that last place you went to where it was swimming in Ghee! Cheers. 🍻
i have a question,' iwant to move their w my elderly parents my mom has demetia will that be a problem? do u have any contact info for someone that could answer my questions? ty I liked your video keep up the good work
Ya know, I really like playing Connect 4 with Thai bar girls... however, I checked flights today and to get under two grand from the states' east coast requires a 45 hour flight... since I am mid-60s, that ain't gonna cut the mustard... sorry to say it, but Peetah, you're gonna have to make up my part of the mongering quota...

Cool guy Jason, always enjoy British Indians. I can definitely see some of the benefits of choosing Bangkok over Pattaya :-) All the best guys

You two should do a few more collaborations
We're planning to
Jason's a great guy but it would of been interesting to see Mali's reaction to Indian food

Love these adventures, Peter. Thank you for sharing. I miss Bangkok, lived there for a couple of years so watching your videos is such a joy!

Weekday video from Thailand Bound. Thank you.
Good video Peter!
I've been down Yaowarat Road/Chinatown many times & didn't realise there's a Little India there!
Well done to yourself and Jason!

Love this shirt which was a gift from my friends who honeymoon in Hawaii .Had to wear it for the vlog😂😂😂

Odd that you guys didnt do this family style and just share the mains
