Sportsman bar, my go to place to watch football. Food is good too. It took me 2 seconds to see you were on soi 13 lol. Thanks for the app info, greatly appreciated
Fabulous video! We can highly recommend The Red Lion it does a great roast dinner! After 7 weeks in Thailand a few home comforts are a much needed treat
Thanks,Peter! I was concerned about this subject, I'm glad you covered it. I still need to book a consultation with you for my questions when I arrive there this fall. Thanks again😊
Great list. I was always confused why so many people used Line and Whatsapp, until I saw how phone services work elsewhere. Here in the US, unlimited SMS is basically the norm on anything but the most limited service. But then data rates are high. I haven't looked at a lot of places, but clearly in Thailand, data's cheap, SMS is "expensive". Plus with the apps the other person doesn't have your number so it's easier to cut contact if you choose.
Is there a app to let me know how pack/crowded the BTS and MRT is, because I'm claustrophobic and can't handle the very crowded pack like sardines times? Thanks
Thank you Pete for this tube. Agoda app sounds great even back in one's own home country if it allows one to contact hotels / accommodation in Thailand or any other country. Any advice here before I set it up ?? Any advice on travel apps?? I'm sick of a travel agency (name with held) not fulfilling my directions as given to them in print.
Hi Peter, I think I remember this road that you have shown in the video. It ends up in the hooters right? Near Nana. Was there last year. Went through the whole video to confirm but when I saw the rotating cube. I was sure. 😊
Hi Peter how are you just a quick one can you tell me how many payments you have received since you joined Simon's cannabis please is it 1 or 2 thanks mate
I heard taxi drivers not happy about Grab and Bolt. Should I be aware of possible confrontations or problems from taxi's see me using a Grab? Any comments or feedback appreciated.
Hello, I would like to ask, what apps are used in thailand to sell used goods? Like in china, china has idlefish application, in thailand what is the name of the application?
Is going to be first time for me to visit Thailand for 3 weeks on April and i have some questions . Is it safe to walk around with a 35K thai bat and my passport or should i leave most of the amount of money at the hotel room . also should i exchange money weekly or just once in my vacation period of time being there . Really appreciated .
I left a comment recently saying Thailand looked like a third world country. I take that back- it’s officially a second world country and some of your recent videos prove I was wrong. Happy to put that right!
i had line app 6 years and WhatsApp 5 years,my gf of 7 years and i use WhatsApp 1st and so do most of our thai and English friends so i think he may be a tad off on this one. regardless im here watching his vids :}
The only app you need is grab. Why? So you can get to the bj bars and nana plaza and soi cowboy in Bangkok. If your in pattaya everything is local walk to the places. Enjoy fellas lol 😂
Honestly, in all the years I've lived and been visiting Thailand I've never met a single Thai person who uses WhatsApp, they all use line. The only people I've come across who use WhatsApp in Thailand are foreigners who talk to other foreigners. I'm not saying there's absolutely no Thai who use WhatsApp but if I had to put a percentage figure on it guessing, I would say it would be something like 98% use line and 2% use WhatsApp. I don't think it's necessary to get into a huge debate about it, I've given my App tip based on my knowledge and experience in Thailand and you've made your point.
In Australia Whatsapp is much more popular. Was surprised when I was in Thailand last year for 7 months, few people used WhatsApp. Everyone seems to use LINE. Was regularly asking people for their Whatsapp, and they would almost always say they dont use it, but had LINE. Many actually told me Thais don't use Whatsapp, but most use LINE. Convinced a few to download it, but I was likely their only contact on it. Also spent 3 months in Laos where WhatsApp seemed to be more popular than in Thailand.

Glad you enjoyed!
Very helpful thanks
Excellent , most helpful info & most useful video.
Good information. I was in Thailand for a 1 month or so and used some of these. Saved major money by using Bolt and Agoda
Nice summary of recommened apps. Been here 20+ years and could not agree more!
Fabulous video! We can highly recommend The Red Lion it does a great roast dinner! After 7 weeks in Thailand a few home comforts are a much needed treat

No the conflict is between drivers not passengers and drivers
Hello, I would like to ask, what apps are used in thailand to sell used goods? Like in china, china has idlefish application, in thailand what is the name of the application?
People normally sell hair on Facebook Marketplace
Excellent 💯 Peter
I alwars use an app that tells me how long it will take to get from A to B by train or taxi and the cost.
The thing is there's so many options here to get from A to B
@@ThailandBound I did find this very useful. I use a very similar app in Japan for riding the trains.
Can True money only be used at 7-11 or can it be used for shopping generally at places that accept credit cards?
You can look that up on Google but basically you can't use it everywhere only in selected places

In bed next to me

You've not been obviously
And there's buildings there, state of the art malls, apatments and pure luxury that the UK or Ireland and many other countries won't see for 30 years
Peter, Whatsapp is becoming more popular now in Thailand.
I'm not seeing people use it everybody uses line
@@ThailandBound yes, they do. I was saying it is becoming more popular. Most Thai people are using it.

Not seeing whatsapp at all among the locals, including my 100s of thai colleagues. Line still dominates
@@flubidy Yahoo
See the Red Lion 😅
Is there a app for bar girls who will play connect 4 for 500 baht
What is an app? I have been to thailand 36 times, never needed one.
Do you use gas lighting in your home?
What is an idiot? You
The only app you need is grab. Why? So you can get to the bj bars and nana plaza and soi cowboy in Bangkok. If your in pattaya everything is local walk to the places. Enjoy fellas lol 😂
I must disagree with you about Whatsapp. Nearly everyone I've been corresponding with uses Whatsapp.
Agreed 👍

@@ThailandBound I live here too Peter and my experience is the same as yours it's LineID all the way for the Thais, that is the app you need here.

Read my reply above to these comments.
The music is seriously annoying and distracting 👎
Thanks for the thumbs down! Don't forget to close the door on your way out...
If your that distracted and annoyed by background music give me a shout, I've got a pair of ear defenders you can buy.
I tried making the video without any background music, but it was just so dull and boring. I don't think people would have enjoyed it so much.
