Wild Camp in the High Peak

I went for a one night wild camp in the Peak District. It was a really hot day and was very busy. I intended to go to an old pitch site that I had used 10 years earlier but it had become unsuitable over the passage of time. I chose to go to a pitch site that was nearby and that I have used numerous times over the years. The wind kept the midges at bay and I had a great camp. I chose an alternative route back to the car that took me past Derwent Reservoir.
