Amen ,God Bless Big Jim Hamil ,He was a great singer and very comical man . But he Loved the Lord,and God used him to Minister the Gospel.I had the opportunity to meet him in Lancaster PA,when I was in my late twenties.And he was so down to earth,and so nice to talk to.I miss him .But I can't forget Ernie Phillips,my all time favorite Tenor.God truly has blessed him with a voice that has been handed down to his Son Eric.He sounds just like his dad.
"Big" Jim Hamil was a remarkable singer but in the end his greatest impact on Gospel music was in the sheer power of his prescence. he is missed. (ernie phillips is the greatest ever)
