  • Once the goats are milked there's still a lot more to do to finish the entire milking process. In this video we'll show you our process for prepping the milk for storage and how we clean the equipment between milkings.

      A splash of white vinegar will clean and help the tubs from getting Gummy and soft

    Cleaning milk equipment you should rinse the milk off first with cold water as heat will cook the milk proteins on to the equipment so cold first to rinse the milk away then hot to kill any bugs.

    You need to get yourself an ez milk machine. The only thing that has to be washed is the container you milk into it. It’s amazing. Hardly any clean up.

    Have you had any problems not pasteurizing your milk?

    • @RockingCHomestead
      @RockingCHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not yet, but we try very hard to be ultra clean with the milk, and equipment.

    Have you tried a basic walmart breast pump? Looks like those would be a lot easier to clean.

      @@RockingCHomestead Seems a lot use them, look for youtube videos. I am sure longer piping would be easy to buy if needed.

      Getting your hands wet but not using soap will actually just spread more germs. That’s what they’re trying to say.
