Would kill to hang with Cristian, he seems cool AF and humble... and I'll nino were my favourite band for years... and Lions at the Gate are F'n awesome!!
So thankful you sat down with Cristian. He's one of the more unique and interesting musicians/vocalists in the nu/alternative metal genre and I just wanted to know what he's been up to after Ill Niño. Such a shame he's not with that band anymore.
Tasmania, Australia here I just joined the roadrunner street crew & my first package was demo tapes & cd's with 2 songs from Ill Nino & 2 from Dry Kill Logic. Cristian, you've gotten so much better over your career & sound better than ever! LATG is an awesome band & I really look forward to more
Great episode! Really speaking to my generation... Cristian is the best, would have love to listen more to his upbringing prior to ill Niño, but great episode nevertheless.
Christian Machado one of my favorite vocalists of Nu Metal Corey Taylor, Serj Tankian, Wayne Static, Jonathan Davis, Lajon Witherspoon, Matt Holt, Edsel Dope, Sully Erna, Chino Moreno and Fred Durst
Thanks man for having this session with my favourite dude Cristian. Definitely need a Part 2 as well as inviting other members like Diego, Ahrue, etc...
Dude. I just discovered your show by looking up everything christian, I saw ill nino 7 times by the time enigma dropped, their music spoke so deeply to me when I heard the first ill nino album, definately subscribing after this episode
This one went by quick, kinda wish you spent a little longer on each album. Don't get me wrong, this was awesome, Christian seems like a super nice dude and it's awesome that you got him on the show :D.
I agree. At the time, I remember thinking I should focus more on Lions at the gate and less on ill nino, but that was probably a mistake. However , I will have Ahrue Luster on the show soon.
@@Goodcompanywithbowling I'm excited to hear what "Lions at the gate" has to offer, I'm actually an avid viewer of Fernando Lemes's channel, dudes a great drummer so I hope we get some creative stuff from them soon.
Surprised u didn't ask him about ur boy clint lowery co-producing "dead new world" album ...i just found that out couple days ago lol had no idea. Love ur interviews and ur show man always!!!
If you were just a little bit more composed, and allowed Cristian to expound just a few more seconds on this answer, this would be the best interview ever! Regardless, I enjoyed it and will be subscribing! Please have Cristian on again, and can you ask him what Ill Niños relationship was with 40 Below Summer?
Normally I love this show. Christian is such a great and gracious guest. Interview felt brief and distracted. Scott did not seem well prepared at all. Not even sure the name of certain albums or songs. It really felt like Scott wasn’t listening as much as thinking about the next question he had in mind. Christian had to repeat himself a few times because Scott wasn’t really engaged and listening. Even a few brief moments where he even seemed a bit frustrated because he wasn’t being heard. I’m not saying interviewing is easy because I’m sure it’s not but it’s not hard to be prepared. Again, I normally love this show and I’ll keep watching for sure just disappointed a bit in this episode. Still hit it with a thumbs up though because I appreciate the attempt.
Thank you for your honest feedback. I agree. I learned a valuable lesson, never go out drinking the night before an interview. Im actually thinking of having him back on the show for a part 2.
@@Goodcompanywithbowling Hello good sir, we’ve all been there before at one point or another so I get it lol I was not trying to be too negative but constructive, Christian in the show was talking about constructive criticism so I thought I’d leave a comment because I’m a fan of the show and care about it. I was very excited you had Christian on. I was only disappointed in this episode because I am a big fan of the show, watched almost every episode (sometimes more than once)and you normally do great interviews. You have this really laid back casual style of conversing with your guests even when you’re super stoked to have them on. I appreciate the work you do, we have similar taste so I love the guests you get. You’ve honestly inspired me to start listening to some of these bands again. Keep rocking, I’ll keep watching and I hope this thing takes off for you and you become the joe rogan of metal!
sometimes you can't choose especially when you don't have much money and already started from the beginning. Nowadays I think it's easier for band members

Great human quality from this man,one of the best voices in metal ,not only in nu metal
I was shocked when I found out he wasn't a part of Ill Nino anymore! I love his voice.

It's lame lo listen to ill nino live right now, Dave distroyed that band but I am glad Christian and the others are still creating good music 👏🏻👏🏻
