    This is one of the best instructional videos I have EVER seen! Except for getting my old valve unstuck so I can empty before replacing the whole valve, I feel pretty confident about doing this job. Any ideas on that? It is totally stuck closed. Also, I didn't know that about not turning knurled nuts, but it makes sense. Thank you very much!

    My rig has a gray valve that pulls open to the left and it's quite a ways under the rig. Really hard to get leverage to open. Why did they put it in that way? Can that be easily remedied to pull straight out instead of to side?!

      Mine are to the side too and hard to get a good grip to pull out. I want them where I can pull them straight out to open. Would love to see what the answer would be.

    Same here Mike Fuller my handle rod broke off inside the contraption so i am going to drill a small hole put wire in it at a distance force open let drain wrinse good then replace 3 inch valve hopefully not have a fn stroke in the proccess it beats the 500 the repair theif wants.

    How can I open the waste gate my rod broke off inside valve? I can replace the valve after emptying the tank any ideas ?do you know how the rod is connected inside he slide, maybe I can use something to grab onto valve just one more time. thanks Mark

      drill a small hole in valve door to let water to drain then force the door open with screw drive i did and was able to flush tank and replace the valve
