It’s like your fighting Tachyon on hero difficulty. On challenge mode it’s like your fighting Tachyon on exterminator difficulty but this game has no difficulties
I was pretty surprised by his fight, I was struggling with his minions before him but his fight lasted around... I don't know, 30 seconds using only the Incinerator xD;
I don't know why, but I can just never seem to dodge the combined rockets and laser attack Tachyon likes to use towards the end. It seems no matter what I do, I always end up getting hit by one of the attacks at least once.
Use Clank long jump, I recently replayed the game and I have no idea how I beat the hard mode as a kid without that move, avoid jumping to the voud tho...
This was the first boss that I really needed Clank's help for dodging attacks. I appreciated that.
Your saying Clank wasn't needed for all the other bosses?

Without the Ryno, this Boss was hard

Only with Weapons=hard or medium
Wrench only= hardcore
Without the ryno he barely takes damage unless you upgraded everything
