Can almost guarantee that the chorus pedal is only listed because his wife was like “you gotta sell off some gear” and he was like “I’m sorry honey, it’s just not selling, I don’t know why”
That's true it snowed a lot in the eighties. but dog's snorting lines? that really gives a person a sense of just how much it snowed in the eighties. it was blizzard conditions.
I've found great deals on equipment at Reverb. One of them was a $650 shotgun mic in like new condition, with original case, windscreen, mic holder, and manual for $280. Works perfectly and is an amazing mic. Reverb is our friend.
Where's the other half of that Hondo UFO? Those actually locked onto another guitar to make the weirdest double-neck you ever saw! No, I'm not crazy or stoned.
I bought a Hondo STING yellow and red at a local shop brand new in 84 or 85 for $85.00. A couple years later when I sold off my first guitar collection no one was interested in it. I kept it just for wall art. Later I was surprised to see them selling on Reverb etc for $600.00 up to $850.00. I love the guitar it's aged well still looks new, it plays great, I did swap the pick ups not long after I bought it. I forget what brand it's been so long. When I bought it the salesman said just the tunable bridge was worth more than the whole guitar if I just bought it separately.
Got one of those Boss CE-1 pedals for something like £25 back in the early 90s. I don't recall it being noisy, but frustratingly the vibrato had rate and depth but the chorus only had a simple intensity control. Sold it and got a EHX Clone Theory that I still own.
Give it a week or so and we'll see those MXR Rhoads pedals show up for 3x the cost of a used KoT... 😂 The gentleman who works on my guitars bought a box of old banjo parts for $200. He has sold half of what's in it and is so far $600 in the black. Guitar stuff is crazy... banjo stuff is insane.
7:55 That was designed to fit onto another outrageously pointy guitar (the Sting) to make a doublneck, Mick Jones(Foreigner) had one. It's definitely worth the money if you only have the Sting BTW UFO = unidentified fretted object
I feel like collecting antique drum keys isn't too far off from collecting Zippos or similar items. (I used to collect Zippos, and I've never smoked; I just think they're cool.) That seems like a fair price for that key, and the shipping is more than fair, considering it's likely to be insured.
I kinda like that Hondo. It's so wacky, but the neck dive is probably insane. I do like the extra narrow case though, haha. Someone might think you have a rifle with you. That BC Rich one though good lord haha. Yeah probably more of a set piece. Looks unfun to play.
UAD makes a plugin of the Roland Chorus. It's noiseless, other than that, I don't think anybody could tell the difference. I got it for free when I bought my Apollo interface.
I saw someone selling a similiar bass to me on Reverb. Dingwall NG2 5 string (discontinued color pink swirl) at $3500 😂. Brand new you can get it for less then $2500. If he manages to sell I’ll sell mine (NG3 6 pink swirl) too for that $ 😂. I’ll buy a new one and pocket the profit.
Well fluff. How many individual parts are there on a 62' tele ??? And how does one know the difference between a Randy Rhoades tribute, and a Buddy Guy tribute guitar??? Just curious.
Can almost guarantee that the chorus pedal is only listed because his wife was like “you gotta sell off some gear” and he was like “I’m sorry honey, it’s just not selling, I don’t know why”
Perfect!!!
I think he just wanted to flex on owning serial #1, without risking having anyone actually buy it.
@@flapjack413 this very much
Thats how I do it.
I’m not allowed to sell my gear😂
The Roland boss pedal guy is 100% banking on Josh Scott needing it lol
But does the guy have the box?
@@matthewmorin7016 right hahaha
I've sold 2 pedals to josh on reverb. He haggles like a mad man, even offers his pedals as trades. No way he would pay that.
@@earlycuyler2295 i didn't figure he would but doesn't stop a seller from apparently believing otherwise lol
It's for Josh or Bonamassa.
I love that this series is a mix between bonkers pricing and things like that ufo guitar where the price is fine but the item itself is ridiculous
That's true it snowed a lot in the eighties. but dog's snorting lines? that really gives a person a sense of just how much it snowed in the eighties. it was blizzard conditions.
I always love your "next listing" with the face. Makes me chuckle every single time. Peace.
I cant talk right now, I need to enhance my vintage drum key collection.
I've found great deals on equipment at Reverb. One of them was a $650 shotgun mic in like new condition, with original case, windscreen, mic holder, and manual for $280. Works perfectly and is an amazing mic. Reverb is our friend.
Thanks for making these longer. I’m sure you get plenty of submissions, and the additional items make for a better video!
What!?! No naked chick guitars!?!? 🤣 I love how the pedal guy got one of his buddies to put it in their cart so it looks like it’s gonna sell 🤣
Or it's a troll buyer getting egging him to think somebody's "about to pull the trigger" 😂
Or even more mundane, it’s in his own cart
Tell Buddy Guy about that poca dot guitar.
Most expensive guitar pedal ever sold was Kurt Cobain's Boss DS-1 and it sold for $75,000 at auction. And that is not even worth it.
The drum key wasn't ridiculous, but it did make me wonder: where is Trogly's $130 used 1980's Gibson toggle switch tip???
The dude that bought Boss pedal talking to his buddy. says can have something to eat? I just spent every dime I had on that pedal. LOL!!!!
Freakin' Nuts? You can buy 4 burst's for that chorus pedal.
Where's the other half of that Hondo UFO? Those actually locked onto another guitar to make the weirdest double-neck you ever saw! No, I'm not crazy or stoned.
I like the clarification at the end 😂
I love how they want $5k for a pickguard, but still want $70 to ship it
Shipping prices are the most ridiculous part of these listings
Insurance
If you can afford 5000, you can afford 5070
it's in South Africa
@Ottophil that's actually a pretty good point hahaha!
Omg I was waiting for this. There were so many good photos of this lol

The Hondo Sting shape fits side by side with the Death Dagger...almost looks like they just ended up making that shape from the cutouts of the H1's
That stingray with poca dots. looks like a guitar that Buddy Guy would play.
Allways love those RRLs. But that TV-Noise effect f*cks up the bitrate XD
Most brands: we need to come up with some cool new designs. Check these out. (Mockingbird, Warlock, Destroyer, etc)
Hondo: hold my beer. I got this
$300 bucks shipping on a pedal that costs $999,999 is insane. Is he shipping it across the country by horse?
The Neil impersonation was spot on.
I'm glad he mentioned the shipping price on that first listing 😅 people are ridiculous
The CE-1 is totally worth it, as long as they’ve got the box! 😅
That Hondo looks like an 1/8 rest 😂
$900 for an unusual electric from the '80s? Doesn't seem that far out of line.

A week? They’re already being listed for 800-1300 lol
I love it "as an artist 3grand so heads up don't do it " 😂
I loved the 80s and we did copious amounts of illegal substances because it was so grim! And the substances made it better
Fluff needs to do more Neil Young covers!
I love all the stuff "from Japan"... where it's the same exact stuff, just shipped from Japan.... for a lot more than it should cost.
Thanks Fluff. Peace
Roland Boss chorus "predicted to sell soon" 🤣🤣🤣

Hondo....that brings me back
That Hondo is gonna put an eye out.
The Hondo looks like it comes in a ginormous flute case.
My guess is the only items even close to $1 mil MIGHT be the guitar hendrix played at woodstock or a beetles guitar of some sort.
I kinda like that Hondo. It's so wacky, but the neck dive is probably insane. I do like the extra narrow case though, haha. Someone might think you have a rifle with you.

The Tim Walz of TH-cam guitar reviewers.
Just clicked on this video, and I'm wearing the same exact Sweetwater shirt, LOL!!!
That Sting Ray is a Buddy Guy replica, Randy took it from him.
That Hondo would be a silly wall piece
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about that Hondo.
Bro if I'm paying a millions bucks for that pedal I ain't paying 300 for shipping my dude lol
Don't forget sales tax
PT Barnum said it best "A fool and his money are soon parted!" 🙄🙄😳😳🤔🤔
420K Subs NOICE 😁
As soon as I saw that UFO Hondo, I IMMEDIATELY sent it to you.
You're welcome.
Listings is the best
8:07 listing 5.. yeah.. 'Hondo" made some REALLY weird shit... same with ...um... the company that made Tanaka's strange guitars... outlandish
I live for weird Hondos, but the idea of paying almost $900 for one makes me laugh very hard
Now when anyone asks if I feel old, imma say I feel vintage
3:30 shudda gone tree fiddy
Some of Hendrix's guitars have sold for less than $1 million...
fluff u forgot to put Ur pinky to Ur lips and say $1000000 dollars

There are bargains to be had out there! These aren’t them.
$3k for a custom musicman??? damn, it's like 3,2/3,5k€ in europe for a regular one (1k more than 5 years ago, crazy)
Did anyone notice the boss pedal serial #?
1
My UV77SVR didn't make the list because it's worth it 🎸
Tele pickguard arrived broken 😂😅
I think if anything, the Neil Young connection decreases the value of an item.
I found regularly myself subscribed to a lot of others channels, d'you know?! Namastè.
So weird comment, I’m sure but I’ve been wanting to buy that shirt from sweetwater. Is it soft?
It’s very comfortable actually
Too bad the "Fat Bob" looks like a Sportster tank.
I wouldnt pay 5 grand for a any complete fender guitar. Let alone just a pickguard
I would buy that Boss pedal but, my Paypal line of credit has a limit of $900,000
Its not on reverb but theres a guy on ebay selling glarry guitars whichare like 50-100$ guitars at most signed by bands for 500-1500$:
I was a child in the 80s and it is true… We were all on cocaine. What do you think the original recipe for captain crunch was?
I wouldn't go a penny over $900,000 for that pedal.
I would say that the pedal got too many zeros
Message pedal guy and say iys a deal if he still has the box
Maybe the million dollar pedal will be in reach if Kamalanomics inflation model continues in 2025.
Just two years to being affordable 😀👍
If you're going to list something for a million dollars and then still charge for shipping ... you're a jerk.
Sorry no peddle is worth a million dollars
I've bought pedals off reverb for under $100 and had free shipping.
The fact that that last one is made by BC Rich makes it worth less to me, but thanks.
Fake, he won’t post anything you send in.
Maybe you send fake posts, and you’re fake
@@Ottophil no.
Lol I sent the pick guard on the 14th. My first ever submission
