Bruh the doors would not open lmao and this is legit the first time i have been stuck in a lift lol. I have safety braked it and then it broke after lol.
@@LiftManAmerthat’s what people say. Then one day you’ll seriously break it. The more you safety break the more you’re wearing out the mechanical side of it.

Safety breaking lifts with simpler logics is a lot safer, as the risks of getting stuck is far lower. Older lifts almost always have simpler logic systems so i almost always trust older lifts
In this vedio whn the door closed and its running passnger is try to open the door and the lift not arrived on its destination floor dont know y he is trying to open..
One of these Otis Gen2 elevator fell with me in North Hollywood California from the 3rd floor causing me bad injuries after the brakes failed when it crashed to the floor. I was on the 4th floor then it free fall to around 3rd floor when I believe the emergency brakes chipped in and stop it but then I was stuck just like in this video after it jerks and I heard a loud noise then it just gave way and fall again straight to the bottom, I had to do surgery and a lot of therapy and still going through it. I will never trust another one of these things.
And this is why you don't safety break lifts, they will sometimes get stuck.
Its just for fun

@@WestMidlandsTrains it really is not
@@WestMidlandsTrains how?
@@WestMidlandsTrains Doesn't change the fact its lift tampering and that it can damage the brakes on a lift
Do NEVER Safety break a lift before it wants to level. It can cause things like this.
@Mr_buttonkatze it didn’t want to level when it emergency stopped. It got confused and thought it was level. That’s why it broke down.
It was about to level to the floor then he safety breaked it.@@scottsliftsX1

Average Gen2
Windows be like
Never safety brake a lift or else the elevator will get you stuck in there
Why is it always the Otis lifts 😭
This is why I prefer Schindler ones
i don know why otis made their doors that you can open them during travel
@@LiftManAmerYeah that should not be the case right :(
But mine is different I won't get stuck but 1 time I got stuck by going floor 2
I prefer Mitsubishi, it’s better and safer
@@BeeGamingHD Yeah Mitsubishi and Schindler are my top picks :D
What about TKE or Johnson for 3 floor residential building?

Always do not never safety break at elevator ❌ if you're stuck always press emergency button ✅
A couple years ago I pulled the doors to look through and it slammed super hard and stopped and it has traumatized me
Lol
Otis should honestly just reset itself and be able to move again
Not on this 2005 one
0:08 bad
You're braking the safety links deliberately
i tried that and i got jumpscared. it didnt go "- -" and i didnt get stuck

How did you get out?
They reset the logic, I didn’t know you still use this channel
Otis gen2’s shuts down if it has the slightest problem, so when you safety brake it, it detected a problem so it shut down
do not safety break otis gen2 or 2000
Yeah 🤬
Because you damaged the lift that is why
no safety braking the lift does not break it.
You would think the door would lock. But apparently not
I wouldn't
Most of the elevators/lifts I have ridden have doors that are imposable to open
