Hayao Miyazaki food is always so aesthetically pleasing to look at. From the breakfast in Howl's Moving Castle to the various meals of From Up on Poppy Hill to the ham noodles from Ponyo, it's both satisfying to watch in motion and makes me enviously hungry without fail.
Honestly this book and movie are so generally unknown and underrated in the US I love them both, and wish more people whoupd read/watch them, so I'm really happy to see this go up :) I remember reading this book when it came out, and its sequels.

This must be a sign, a friend of mine has been telling me to watch this since forever. I'll watch it after exams, (which is literally next Monday now that I think about it).
I stay with a BIT smaller bacon slice but for me it`s almost like a daily breakfast especialy that my local store butcher has such nice 5 bacon slices packs so with just a pack of 10 eggs i`m all good for 5 days and as i like to add some changes to morning routines with cottage cheeses or corn flakes sometimes just a pack of bacon slices and box of eggs fullfil my needs for even two weeks. A great show that i love breakfast that fits my rl style and i know i can burn it`s calories during a day :)

I currently live in Japan. I think the cut of meat that they should've used was thick ham because bacon out here is cured more like ham. The meat would have more flavor that way than just unseasoned pork belly.

The meat that you guys are using in the video is called samgyeopsal it is tended to be eaten with a kind of dipping sauce / vinagrette so you guys out here in the comments can try the thicc bacon cooked by calcifer at a korean bbq place or if you want to cook it yourself!
